Children at laser tag. Screw those guys. They cheat, they get the game modes they want to play (Even though my friends are I are actually spending our money), and you can't tag them when they're shooting over a ledge because they aren't tall enough for the shoulder sensors to appear. And for some reason, I'm not blaming the children for this one, we couldn't kill them. I am 100% positrive that I've hit a sensor but nothing happened. The stupid suits are also designed so that the body sensors return before the gun does when it should be the other way around to prevent people from following you. Laser tag is fun and all, but not when you're playing a bunch of children...

What reality shows are you watching? Real Housewives of [City], Basketball Wives, Bad Girls Club, and the like are all just awful. But other reality shows that actually have a point to them are pretty interesting. Swamp People, Bar Rescue, Oddities, and those all come to mind.

I'd say he has a decent reason to hate benders. The world is more catered to benders and non-benders are getting regularly screwed. He's also right about every war of every era being caused by benders looking for more power. This just made me remember something though. Part of the Equalist movement was appealing to the poor and homeless of Republic City, but the richest people are also non-benders.

I don't see anything wrong with having something that makes you physically younger so that you're still able to work in old age or something as long as people still die timely, natural deaths.

What? Also, I'm pretty sure 'Aliyah' is that Jewish thing where they return to Israel to ratify their Covenant with Yahweh or whatever - was this a Jewish African-American, perchance? There are at least 20 Aliyahs (Aaliyah, Aliya, etc.) of varying races and ghettoness in my school. I don't think any of them are Jewish.

While the show is pretty dark, I don't think Nicklodeon will allow anyone to die. I think Amon will defeat Korra, but before he can take her bending the spirits arrive because of deus ex machina, tell Amon how he's been abusing his powers, and either take his powers away or bring him to the spirit world forever.

I'm laughing at everyone who was waiting for a nostalgia trip with Toonami being back. It's just the normal [Adult Swim] lineup with a couple of new shows. Casshern Sins sounds entertaining though.

I hate how UPS shipping takes my package in a direction that would take longer for my package to arrive. I assume my package sits there until there are enough packages to justify filling up a truck and sending it in a general direction, but there's no reason why it shouldn't take less than a day for my package to go from Dallas to San Antonio. Well, to an atheist such as me or you, we imagine "I will pray for you" meaning "I want to help you, but I don't actually want to do anything." To a theist, "I will pray for you" means "I'll try and get the most powerful being in the universe to help you with your problems."

Oh god... An airbender could force air into a person's lungs until they exploded. That's not an instant death either. You'd die after suffocating or bleeding too much. That's going to take at most 3 or 4 minutes but I imagine having your lungs exploded hurts like hell for the entire duration.

It's true though. Can you imagine how messed up you'd have to be to drown somebody with your waterbending? Earthbenders would have to crush their victim, and that can get pretty messy.

Fire made sense for Amon's backstory. They needed him to be permanently disfigured but not crippled. It also made sense for Sato's backstory, because Asami started dating Mako who is a firebender. Adds to the hatred and whatnot. For Bolin and Mako's backstory it could have been any of the three I suppose. I guess it had something to do with water- and earthbenders needing to be serious sadists to straight up kill somebody with their bending where firebenders can easily kill or scar without much effort.

The headache and nausea might be a placebo effect where you're imagining the worst that can happen, so your body ends up afflicting itself with it. It's a possibility but I'm not a doctor so don't take my word for it.

I don't think we need to make cooking a core class in schools. Seriously, if a child leaves their home without knowing how to cook or clean then it's a fault with the parents not the schools.

Rural compared to Halifax, but not that much I still have cooking and woodworking... Still its amazing the inability to cook some people have, I'm one of those people that can do anything with instructions so I have and can cook a lot of things. Think I was 10 or so when I made my first actual supper with minimal help though :thumbsup: Wait, what in the world? Not sure how I got from where I started to where I am now up there, but going to go with it... Same. Give me the instructions and I'm good to go.

ANGER! A person who doesn't deserve the position just got drum major in my marching band for next year. Sure I'm not going to be here for it, but it sucks that a person who's only doing this to look good on a college application got the position over people who actually wanted to make the band a better organization. She was a horrible section leader last year, being more concerned about everyone liking her rather than being concerned about getting shit done, and now she's expected to be the leader of everybody. Gah! On a much better note, I bought myself a binary watch! It'll be here next week and it'll be awesome!
