The most disturbing thing to me is that they keep every single chat log on their servers. If someone goes missing, the police can just ask Facebook who they've been talking to and find out where they might be. Or have evidence in court or something. It's not like they have a guy sitting there reading your conversations.

You guys are making way too big of a deal about this. The only thing bad about Facebook is some of the users, which is remedied by taking them off of your friend's list. It's still a great way to keep in touch with people and quickly plan things.

The college I'm going to allows pets that are able to live inside of a 10 gallon tank. I plan to have a couple of fiddler crabs. I spent all school day at the museum for a biology field trip. It was pretty cool because I haven't been in 4 years. The HEB Treehouse is still one of the greatest things ever even if I'm almost 18 now...

And then you've got the idiots who think that they'll suddenly be a weapons expert as soon as the apocalypse hits. The only reason I would use a gun in a zombie apocalypse would be to ward off other humans trying to raid my stuff or to prevent somebody from turning into a zombie.

This is one of the reasons I dislike talking about the zombie genre with other friends because my way of thinking sees numerous holes in the debating and I won't take part in regards that I would end up emotionally destroying someone. You could explain how melee weapons like those would suck in a zombie attack because you'd have to deal with an entire hoard up and close, and you're more likely to join their numbers after one or two kills. Do they use the "It's just -insert genre-" or "It's a fictional setting" excuse to dismiss your arguments by chance? What about only a few zombies at a time though? Plus don't forget it's rotting flesh while makes it softer. Remember that not even executioners before the guillotine was created could hack off a head with a giant axe perfectly every time. Anyways you could only cut through so many zombies before the blade is coated in a thick layer of blood and zombie bits. Then the blade will eventually get dull and will require upkeep that takes up time you could be using to look for supplies or hunting.

You'd think it'd be easy to understand why using a machete or katana to kill zombies is an awful idea but I've had to explain how hard it is to cut through flesh, muscle, and bone in one try way too many times...
