Remember, TLA had 61 episodes to tell a single main story. LoK only has 12. There's no time for whole episodes of filler where characters learn life lessons. They can only keep driving the plot forward, which they're doing beautifully by the way.

Everyone is braver online because there are hardly any consequences. What's someone going to do if you offend them? Report you? Threaten you? Who cares right? You've just got to not be bothered by mean things said online.

Telling a woman you wish she was raped and her family killed isn't 'guys being guys'. Yeah some of it might meant to be harmless, but boys being boys is not and never should be an excuse. Men can bloody well control their own behaviour and if they find it *so* hard to not call a woman a [bleep] then they've clearly got problems. But they tell other men the exact same things. Them calling a random woman a [bleep] isn't so different from them calling a random man a [bleep]. This censor is disappointing. The second [bleep] should be [cigarette].

Women aren't being specifically targeted. Anyone who's been on XBL for 10 minutes knows these same idiots make fun of everyone, except men get your mom jokes and their sexuality questioned. We all get death threats and Internet Tough Guys challenging us to fly to a random city so they can kick our ass. You've just got to mute/ignore/block them like everyone else.

Oh, I realized I haven't filled you guys in on anything since I asked her out. These last 4 months have just been amazing. Even though we can only talk through texts or Facebook I feel like we trust and are closer to each other than most couples who are able to see each other every day. Unfortunately she isn't able to come over for graduation and because of that I told her that I loved her over the phone rather than in person and she was really happy about that. We've already established that our relationship was much more than a fling and that we both do intend to make it work all the way through marriage (she believes that not knowing how far the other person is planning on taking the relationship can kill it). Really, our only bump in the road so far has been her dad who has forbidden us from talking since April. That's obviously not working for him...

No, that didn't happen. I think everyone was too "Oh shi-" to see who did it. Luckily I avoided the hallways when this happened and moved through the storage rooms between science labs. One of my friends got hit in the foot with a bleach balloon. Our valedictorian got hit directly, but I don't know with what.

Oh, I completely forgot about this. Some idiots decided to throw water balloons at people in the hallway. It would have been fine if the balloons weren't filled with either urine or bleach. Do people just not think or something? They could have seriously hurt somebody!

Today was my last day of high school ever. Graduation is on Wednesday. I went out to laser tag with a few friends and that was fun if you don't count the team of children we had to play (rant on the Things that annoy the HELL out of you thread). I kicked so much ass on Soul Calibur. I think it's funny that the concept of blocking doesn't exist for inexperienced players in fighting games.
