The original post is counted as #1 so technically you got the 50,000th post Rpg.

I've never had lamb. All of my family and friends are sort of picky eaters and they like to stick to what they know so I've never had to opportunity to go to a Greek restaurant or anywhere that would serve lamb. Hell I have a hard time getting people to go to a seafood restaurant with me. How can people be so unadventurous that they won't even eat seafood?
  3. I see her skiing but I don't see any snow. Is she skiing on the road? Would it not be easier to just walk at that point?
  4. World of Warcraft. Not the retail version. A vanilla private server. https://en.nostalrius.org/ EDIT: Just realized this thread is 5 months old

I bought a cardigan which are surprisingly hard to find in spring in south Texas. Not the kind I wanted but it was cheap since there was some kind of Easter sale going on.
  6. Far Cry Primal finally came out on Redbox so I'm renting it now. Lately I've been feeling like games are becoming too easy (or I'm becoming too good, maybe a bit of both) so this time around I decided to bump up the difficulty from my usual normal mode and went with hard the first time around. I think it was a good decision. The game isn't terribly difficult on hard so normal probably would have been a boring cakewalk. I also paid $20 for early access for Paragon. You have to sign an NDA to play so I can't say much about it but I'm having fun with it.

When I was a kid I used to play a game called runescape where I did just that "lunch break" For me that was usually in the form of microwaving Hot Pockets and eating them while fishing lobsters.

Shit day at work today. Last night we had a huge storm that knocked out the power for some parts of the city. Well my store had power and I guess every other store was down and out so we got everybody buying up flashlights, lanterns, candles, ice, and batteries. Normally that wouldn't be so bad but 2 people called in today so it was just me and my manager handling everything. Awful.

I'm in the middle of my spring break and my manager scheduled me for 7 out of my 9 spring break days... Used my last day off this week to go see London Has Fallen which was ruined by [wagon] screwing around on their phones during the movie. I seriously want to buy a signal jammer because I can never seem to watch a movie without other people being dicks.
  11. Wrong thread, thought I was posting in Today... Voted for Inna tho.
  12. I can't help but feel that this is just an OT popularity contest but I'm participating in it anyway. Vote Riku for prom queen president miss hottie judge 2016.

He might be the biggest comedy goldmine since Bush though! ...Wait, the Bush era brought us Family Guy. Never mind. But Family Guy came out when Clinton was still in office.

I know that. My point was that millions of bank accounts remain intact despite not being 100% secure. Oh well, I'm not really in a spot to be able to watch Randox's video so I'll give that a look when I get home. I'd like to hear some other suggestions for increasing voter participation though.

I went to Nebraska's Democratic caucus last weekend, and there was an insane number of people my age there. Like, hundreds of them, probably. It's a little biased, because I'm in the district where the college is, so probably a lot of the people who live on campus were registered for that area, but the young voter turnout was pretty good in the district my friend went to a few miles away as well. Though, yes, you're right, it could absolutely be better. We obviously need to make a way to vote online without having the results able to be manipulated. That would be terrible. Voting legitimacy is incredibly important and the security implications of an online voting infrastructure on both the front-end and back-end is simply too wide an area for attackers, domestic and foreign. To be brutally honest, of all the agencies, only the NSA could potentially be trusted with such a task, but elections (and citizen security, especially) are not their responsibility. The only data I truly trust on the internet would be data I encrypted offline with an incredibly long key (at least 256 bits of entropy) using open-source and secure software with a tried-and-true encryption method (such as GnuPG with AES), and even then I wouldn't trust the reliability of said data over long periods of time (e.g., data corruption). Even my own computer has full-disk encryption (with GELI and an equally complex key) and whenever I do not have immediate access to my computer I turn it off (if I leave my home, if I go to sleep, if I'm outside for more than a minute or two...). In honesty, I feel I can only trust myself, and sometimes that's difficult. I figure that if we can have bank accounts online without everything going to hell then we should be able to have online elections as well without too much trouble. If we give every registered voter a unique ID key, then the most we have to worry about is stolen ID's right? Fake votes wouldn't be able to happen because you wouldn't be able to vote with a non-existent key. Multiple votes with the same key would be easy to catch and prevent. Really this is the best way I can think of to increase voter turnout.
  16. You only have 627 posts, and I feel like all of them came from the last year alone. Seriously how have you been here since 2007?

Drake is Canada's pride and joy. Hotline Bling is a weird choice of song for a club though. That DJ needs to go.

I like the advanced movement. It's a huge breath of fresh air compared to the "boots on the ground". I'll be disappointed if it goes away this soon, especially since it's been made better than in AW and can still get even better. It's also made maps much more interesting now that there are spots to wallrun or gaps you have to use the boosters to get across. I also feel like it's easier to combat campers now that it's possible to come at them from so many angles. This is the most I've played CoD since BO1 and I've been having a lot of fun with it. I agree that the specialists need to go because half of the weapons and abilities are straight up garbage anyway.

I just think at some point they become "too young". 7 year difference at my age is a big difference. I think if you're like 40 dating a 30 year old it's fine, but a 25 year old dating someone that's pretty much still in high school is a bit weird. Oddly enough i got a call from her earlier today asking me if i had any interest in maybe taking her sister out who's new in town. I agreed to it without knowing what her sister looks like. I didn't really want to ask for a picture of her before i said yes or no because that would pretty much just come off as douchey. She did refer to her as her "hot older sister" so there's hope. I wish you the best lol By the way, did you hear the rumours about Ghosts 2? If they're accurate, i find it kind of a strange move after the bad response Ghosts got.I might be the only person in the world that cares about the CoD campaign stories, but they've got to deal with that cliffhanger ending they gave us. If it is Ghosts 2 I wonder if they'll keep the advanced movement or go back to the old system.

Winter sucks anyway. I'm happy that it never went below 50 were I live. I think I'll buy a kite to fly soon.

[snip] If you can get at least half of these right then you can talk shit about Americans and their geographic knowledge. That comparison isn't valid. You're comparing administrative divisions within a single country, rather than independent countries. There is little need for anyone who does not live in Germany or France or England to know the specific local governments within the larger whole, and the same holds for the United States (and its states) when it comes to German or French or English. It should be expected to know at least the general boundaries and locations of any significant countries. It should not be expected to know the administrative divisions within these same countries. Our one country is almost the same size as the entire continent of Europe. We have single states that are larger and more populated than some European countries.
