The torso is much too small in comparison to his arms. The arms could also do with some elbows.

Off topic answer : some years ago, while playing volley a kind finger scratched my eye. So since there my right eye is way weaker against cold air assoult (like air conditioning jets :P). Too bad 1 of these got me in the eye lol...so spent a week of medicins and stuff but getting fixed everyday now :) Thats too bad. When I was a wee lad, I got scratched in the eye by my sister with a stick. Now it's much worse sight then the other one. I was on these eye drops that make your pupils huge for ages, that was crazy. Anyway, wicked work on the sig. You must get a lot of spare time to work on them, yes?

Anything can be art. I went to the Australian National Art Gallery last year and I remember seeing paintings that were just a green background with a few white and yellow dots in random places. Art can be anything and everything!

That's pretty good. Could be better shading on the character and the shield is a bit small. You could also try a more "actiony" type of pose, instead of him just standing there, looking like he's sleeping.

Exactly what i was thinking. A lot of people here are confusing pixel art and regular drawing. Theres arnt many "pixel" sigs here that I would consider true pixel art. Well what is exactly true pixel art? And what is vector in flash? :)

But what if you want to do several versions. Or your not happy with your current version so you decide to redo the foreground. Instead of having an ugly white hole where it all used to be, you've still go your background.

No way, GraphicsGale makes it way easier to do custom colors. It also has about 20 more undo's and redo's, which makes it much better for experimenting around with your pic's. Ctrl + Z = pure goodness. 8)

Is it worth it to make a background layer and foreground layer? And do they have any other use? I'm wondering as I just noticed GraphicsGale has layers. Thanks.
