Eh, I don't like the head, or the body. Looks too 2D. Probably because there is no shading on the body (I'm guessing there's not meant to be any, but it messes it up). Head looks weird... (maybe it's meant to be that way? :? ) And the e in godslayer looks like a c.

In My Opinion (it's an acronym). How bout some clouds now?

I've seen that animation before... 1/10 because it's unoriginal. Try and think of your own stuff.

Not too shabby. - Stars look really weird, spice them up with some variety... dim ones, smaller ones, spread them out in some spots etc. - The colours you've picked for the character are maybe a bit too bright for a night scene. - Is the big grey thing in the sky the moon? If so, it looks very not moon like. The moon is a creamy colour and it has lots of craters in it. - The light source is the moon and the candle? Well your shading doesn't represent that very well. Shadows would be on our view point, highlighting would be on the side we can't see. - The grave looks a bit funny... It should look something like this. I don't have time to show you everything what I mean. Just keep practicing! :)

Obiously edited them on paint, on the first picture you can see paint is "untitled"... on the 2nd picture he's saved a picture called "I1" (name of first picture but imageshack screwed it up a bit like normal)... on the third picture he's saved "I2" (2nd picture)... Crop your pictures next time. :lol:

Oh yeah dang I forgot that. I LOVE that game!! (I also used to play the original Civ and Civ II). :D

Most definitely check out Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind (and it's two quite nice addon packs). It is simply an amazing game that's a FPS RPG (S stands for sworder, not shooter ;)), released in 2002 so it should run on your machine. I was hooked on it for about 12 weeks straight and it won game of the year.

yet perfect is an ilusion (dont feel like going any deeper on this) :cry: So I've been practicing all the things I like doing in hopes of getting better in vain? :cry: :lol: Perfect maybe an illusion, but as far as I can see, the more you practice the closer you will get to perfection (although it itself is unachievable). It's how people are trying to find all the decimal places of pi, even though it goes on for infinite.

I don't think you need a teacher. Just make some attempts and if you think you've done good, post it on here for some constructive criticism and feedback. If you think you haven't done very well, practice! It's a well known saying... Practice makes perfect.

It's really good. The only thing I don't like is her left eye (our right)... if you cover it up, the right side of her face looks amazing, but that left eye looks weird. :? Those folds on that dress though... :shock:

What the? What's with all the people ripping me about "peoples"? It shouldn't have an apostraphe unless it's a proper noun (eg "Phil's car") or it's a contraction (eg "Don't / do not"). I can't really think of any other places for an apostraphe... Maybe someone can help me? :)

Oh, you've changed it drastically. I suppose I should've explained myself a little more. I just meant some texturing on the dirt on the ground and some cloudy type textures in the clouds. It's totally changed now. :shock: It's good though, the guy doesn't look like he's floating so much anymore. :)

Yeah I don't think it was a good idea to actually use the copyright infringment thing. You could've guessed their response... (something similar to "bite me" or "who cares").

Buddy kits are generally considered as the epitomy of all evil here... Almost the kin of the devil they are. If you want buddy kits, I hear runescaperealm forums have a a lot of them. You'll basically find them where there are no pixel sig makers.

The ground screams out texture me, so does the sky. At the moment they are only one colour, and this degrades the whole look of the sig. Even if your not into doing textures, it really is quite slack leaving most of the sky as one colour (is it mostly all grey clouds? If so, clouds are not just one colour and they look quite ridiculous). Also, the drag chain guy does look like he's floating. I think it's because his feet are up level with some of the background, therefore making him look like he's levitating. :shock: And the further away skeleton is inline with a tiny little tree, making it look weird (try and make the perspective with the background consistent?). One more thing is that metallic substances shine, so does hair. Overall I think that you have used much too light colours for a night scene.

Oh yeah I am definitely big on grammar and punctuation. I used to always correct peoples grammar on World of Warcraft. :) I also have that view of that someone who can't spell or organize their sentances for peanuts is usually someone of lesser intelligence. No offense to anyone who can't spell or anything, it's just the way I percieve things (as others have said on the thread) and well 9 times out of 10 my judgement is correct. :wink:

That used to be Terley's sig a year ago. Ripping is becoming a big problem huh. It's even worse when they rip the sig but instead of using it as their own, they sell it to someone else... :evil:
