  1. maybe i didnt put things clearly enough: firstly i have nothing against skill tutors, except the items they give out secondly, why should players who just got off tutorial island be able to do something free which in the past required 31 magic and cost some 300-400gp thirdly the example of the pc product i gave i dont mean that all people who pc are like that, for me a pc product is someone with a high combat, who got it all from pc, calling others noobs because of his higher combat level, and who lacks the basic knowledge of the game
  2. hmmmmm...... how come everyone seems to get better drops that me *kicks row*
  3. gratz, only 3 to go, any tips for a noob with 84 slayer (me)
  4. first of all i'd like to say that i absolutly hate pc i admit i got a couple hundred k exp in range and mage, however i regret that. The reason is that i like a challange: that is why i love slayer, and hate fletching. also after getting that exp i did feel i hadn't earnt it, and i don't think people should act as stereotypical pc products just because they have higher stats. Luckily however i have never really met a pc product, therefore i don't know if what is being said is accurate, since i hang around the top of the slayer tower with people who actually earned their combat and don't show off as much. So you might say: well if you think this way, why not go back to rsc..... well to tell truthfully i wouldn't mind that: i never had the chance to play rsc however it sounds like the sort of game i would enjoy except maybe adding skill tutors there so you can learn just the basics (i remember it took me several weeks to learn how to craft) however i don't want a free lumby tele and no free items, just the basic knowledge needed
  5. just a question, what world do you slay on? PS, i dont think you should print screen every drop, your going to run out of space on your hard drive
  6. +1 :D +2 :D there are various reasons: 1) because they are a nice break from skilling 2) to still be able to wear quest cape 3) for the rewards (for some the reward isn't really worth it but see above) 4) i do them on the principle that one day they will be required for an important quest with big rewards, (such as a new monster with good drops) and i could make a lot of money out of them, while others who didn't do quests will pull all their hair out.
  7. slayer, good choice, best cape in game (2nd best is fm) get 99, it would be nice to have what is possibly the hardest skill out of the way
  8. well, i just got 65 herblore (woot), got the message about the level, and what i can do: identify cadantine and..... whats this???? Sanfew serum cure all ?????? looks at in game herblore guide, ingredients: super restore pot, snake grass, ground unicorn horn and.... Nail beast nails???? Nail beasts ??? and what has Sanfew got to do with this ? i take it this is the same sort of things as bloods and souls for runecrafting, discuss
  9. i admit that that the mansion part was annoying, but eventually you get it, also if minigames are not that entertaining to the majiority/rewarding then goodluck finding someone to play with
  10. just a tip, try hunting on world 2, usually training spots are less crowded, however i slay and dont hunt, therefore the situation might be different
  11. gl, i set a similar goal myself several months ago, started at 58, now at 83 and still going strong, if i can make it this far, you can too
  12. i know its a bit late, but congratz on 99 agility and gl on 99 hunter P.S. i dont know if i mentioned this before, but i suggest you get 99 slayer next so youll have whats possibly the hardest skill out of the way, and use the money from hunter to buy tree seeds and start raising that farming
  13. this may seem odd as you move about a lot, but i have found that the best skill to train to find friendly people is slayer, though only at higher levels (60+). If you keep at it, and stay in the same world then you are bound to bump into people and become friends with some.
  14. 96 firemaking--- others do cooking and fletching, i prefer firemaking 87 hp--- slayer biproduct 86 woodcutting--- how i made money back in f2p + firemaking 86 strength--- slayer biproduct 86 attack--- slayer biproduct prowd of my level 83 slayer
  15. i usually slay in world 2, so the training spots are on the deserted side and most noobs are too lazy/impatient to get on it anyway but i still sometimes get randomly attacked, for example the other day there was a level 40 asking me how to train slayer, without even giving me time to answer he starts saying Z0MG N00B ...... havent had anything nearly as bad as what the author described though
  16. WOW PMG HAXOR in english: wow nice farming
  17. congrats on 90 mining, that is very good
  18. did you actually talk to the npc before entering? if not that could be the reason
  19. some past edition of postbag from the hedge
  20. what an amazing post!  =; :XD: could you post something more useful ontopic: sorry about what happened, but you made 182mil once, you can obviously do it again (especially after all the donations you've been getting) i shall leave you with an italian proverb: "to trust is good, not to trust is better"
  21. personally if anything, i have noticed an improvement, although the reason could be that i spend most of my online time outside of faladore, in world 2: this will bias the results of what i see because only the cleverer/more mature people would realize that world 2 is a good place to train since most of the population is no-lifing in fally another possible reason is that, because im training slayer (82 currently) i spend most of my time at mid-high level monsters which few people have the desire to kill (aberrant specters.....) while also a very small part of the population being able to access them, and with that population being the older, more mature player, since most of the less matures players dont give a cabbage about slayer and only want to train combat using pc.
  22. congratz not long left, however you might have chosen badly in leaving the hardest/longest skills last
