muahaha34, i should be on rather often

was ranging black dragons with crystal bow, not paying to much attention, when i looked at the screen i saw my character punching a black dragon in the face, with a crystal seed, somehow survived :anxious: another time i went to brimhaven dungeon, forgot axe, teleported to edgeville, replaced my glory (now uncharged), go back to brimhaven dungeon and realizing id forgotten my axe again :shame:

nice finds, btw osman also says something about possible tasks in the future

i hated that, took me several hours, as well, just keep trying and you should make it if i remember correctly you should go to one of the rooms at the sides and wait for the guards to go by

for me at around 20th place (above all that is embarrassing deaths occoured to me i refuse to narrate) some guy was ranging lessers in karamja volcano, but the lessers managed to reach and kill him......free ranger boots for me =)

i personally dislike pc, i find it incredibly boring, the only 2 times i used it were to get herbs, while traing herblore for ft 2 and getting a few range levels between 60 and 70 (not all of them) i have to say i regret doing this for exp now the only way you can get me to raise combat seriously is by doing slayer, and there is one thing i can say to those who are angry about pest control: we will be able to laugh at them when they will be crying about not getting slayer up =)

depends if you want money or exp, if you want money, kill them, if you just want quick exp, skip them or do baby blue drags edit: btw i found a better spot in taverly dungeon for black demons, cant be bothered to get a pic now, will do next time i get them

ive seen loads, couldnt be bothered taking pics though sindylewhew (70+ mil wc exp), saw her on regular basis when woodcutting on world 1 casserole, see him on a regular basis while slaying on world 2 zezima at pc roopavat (not sure how you spell it) was in the top 20 for ages before construction zzzamorak lover romeo the hate can't think of any more at the moment

note: melzar was also once a powerful necromancer, but had an accident, this could also explain the demon in the maze

i dont really do either i buy what i need, when i need it (if its less than 800k since i cant afford it otherwise =) ) anyway for example: get dagannoth slayer assignment, go to fally world 2 and buy 1k cannonballs, do task, there is nothing in particular i save for and i dont spend it when i get some money

im going for 85 slayer (when i get there ill train other skills a bit then go back to slayer till 99). There are several reasons why im doing this: 1) for fun, slayer is my favourite skill 2) for money, sure whips are dropping, but they are still 1.7-1.8 mil, slayer monsters also drop a lot of rune items and clues (i can sometimes get 3 level 3 clues per assignment), and other unique drops *cough* rune boots *cough* 3) total level, as most people do, i want to max out all skills, why not start with the toughest ? 4) the achievement: 99 slayer, as well as 85 are both great achievements 5) combat training: i personally hate trsining combat on its own, you just camp at a monster for a long time, while with slayer you move a lot, it surely isnt as fast exp as pest control, but its good enough for me and im also leveling one of the hardest skills in game 6) the overlap with other skills: personally i enjoy rasising (or helping to raise more than one skill at a time, lets see the skills i train (or help to train) with slayer slayer (obviously) attack (obviously) strength (obviously) defence (obviously) hp (obviously) range (obviously) prayer (from assignment bones) magic (monsters drop a lot of runes and alchable items, as well as you being able to mage them) farming (all the seed drops) herblore (all herb, seconds and herb seeds drops) crafting (cutting and making items out of drops, especially gems and hides) fletching (making you own arrows to range monsters with, or making bolt tips out of gems) fishing (catching your own food) cooking (cooking your own food) runecrafting (from essence dropped by some monsters) thats 15 skills your training 7) also most high level slayers are very nice people and so it is a chance to make some good online friends still need more motivation ?

i personally think the price of dragon items will drop as much (and as fast) as a skydiver without a parachute, jumping from a plane just my personal opinion though

the memories, you reminded me to kill half the population of lumbridge for the advice they give you when you start out =P anyway i wandered around lumbridge and asked the npcs how to make money and they all said smithing was good... so i went to varrock east mine, after fierce competition for tin and copper i walked all the way to lumbridge, smelted, walked all the way back to varrock, smithed, and sold to general store =P (didnt know about alkarid =P )

i take it i caused a breakthrough =P but dont you thing your exagerating with the quotes =P

im surprised no one yet mentioned the book of the wise old man (aka dionysius) yet, the one found in swan song, it contains a lot of evidence there are a lot more of interesting points, but i cant be bothered copying them
