  1. i don't know how i manage it either tbh and yes, banking at zmi is a pain, but at least the speed makes up for it imo
  2. most of the time (though definately not all the time), the ingame money being traded for rl money is gained by the macroers, meaning that rwiters fund these macroers, and more people that buy gold from them, the more macroers there will be to gather money to satisfy the higher demand. Most of the macroers are there to satisfy the demand of the real world traders, if they weren't there, most of the macroers would be gone, so they do affect everyone, imo more so than the macroers
  3. thought i'd just express my opinion on this firstly, to all people who say leave him alone, its unfair he is judged so harshly, you should ignore him: if he got hacked and lost those items if he gained them legit, i would think he was a bit dim, but pity him now he fell victim to a phishing scam and lost items he bought with irl money, he broke the rwt rule so he should have lost those items, normal prodcedure for this would have been to get banned, but losing them to hacker is probably a bit more poetic justice/karma/whatever you want to call it, but i wouldn't really bother about it, even though he likely funded the organised crime running the bots with $140 dollars, tbh many people do that, as long as they get whats coming to them (a ban, or at least losing their items in a way such as this), i don't see why we should be too bothered, the fact that he goes to complain to a major news company how people broke the rules by hacking him, stealing all the stuff he got by breaking the rules in the first place, and should have been banned, makes it everyones business, and he deserves all the flames he get. His account should have been deleted, and he shouldn't have just lost his items, if he recovered his account he got off light, yet he is still complaining. so basically if you break the rules, get caught and publically admit you were wrong and you were at fault and apologise for it, i would think the punishment was deserved, but i would respect you for admitting your mistakes and hope you learned your lesson if you break the rules, get caught don't kick up a fuss about it, just start over/quit, i would say the punishment was deserved and hope you learned your lesson if you clearly break the rules and kick up a great fuss, and whine when you get what was coming to you, whether it be karma/poetic justice, or a more accepted form of punishment (ban, mute etc.), i would think that the punishment was well deserved, and i would lose any respect i had for you and hope you would just leave the game also another thing i want to rant about is the recent state of the media how bloody desperate must a news channel/site like this be to use a story like this, it happens all the time its nothing new, why should people start caring now. All this article did is defame jagex and encourage people to break the rules since he still isn't banned and since the news agency is so full of idiots that they found the part on the jagex site that says "we aim to return lost accounts" and that advertising websites is against the rules, while they completely ignore the rwt rule because it would mean they couldn't use this story. there have been other articles here these days that really should have not been in the newspapers as it just gives people who got into a really bad situation through their stupidity, get a lot of fame and support from it which frankly they don't deserve (talking about that 13 year old in uk btw) (this part was a rant about media in general, nothing to do with rs)
  4. Airs x9 ftw also my average level is 92, halfway to max =D
  5. new answers posted 13-14-613-58401007 some of them are interesting like that for example
  6. i love the diaries, done them all as soon as they came out and i must say i love the rewards karamja helped my slayer to no end varrock has made me enormous profits lumbridge didn't have a particularly good reward but it was easier than the others and f2p so we shouldn't really have expected much i am looking forward to the new diaries since the track history for the rewards has been very good (and if it has certain high reqs it will motivate me to train some of my low stats :P ), so i'll still be happy even without a cape, though it would be a nice bonus music however wouldn't be good if you could get a cape after unlocking every song, it would have been alright, but when they added champions challange, it just became far too dependant on luck, it might work though if you could get a cape if you have like 568-569/570 songs unlocked, but it would be too luck based to require all the songs
  7. i'm a lumberjack and i'm ok, i sleep all night and i work all day time to retire my lumberjack set tbh
  8. judging by what you are claiming there do you really think they will accept it was pretty fun, got a couple of kills, took a lot of damage from people in red capes with full rune/range but i lived to those people complaining they were bsed wearing a green cape and not specifically team 39, you should have expected it tbh wearing a cape of the same team, attack is not the first option, while wearing a different cape you appear white on the map and the first option is to attack, with such mass numbers of people, many people were looking for a one click option to attack, and sometimes it was someone with a green, non team 39 cape and attacked thinking you were from another site i'll admit i did that a couple of times, but as soon as i realised it was a green cape i stopped
  9. i consider myself more of a skiller (though more of a combat orientated skiller, i am now raising my non combats, but i didn't normally pk) it is not pking or pkers in general that i hate, its the attitude some pkers have: creating rules about honour and no-honour, complaining saying that you are cheating and bug abusing while winning fairly and fleeing and doing other nh things to get an extra advantage, and flaming and calling you a noob if you lose, that is what i hate
  10. fastest: magics + palms + herbs + watermelons and highest you can in everything most efficient: herbs, massive profit but takes forever i always knew calquats were a bargain back then, shame i could never be bothered to get farming up until now when its too late to get cheap calquats
  11. about time they did this i applaud you =D>
  12. will end up training prayer sometime, but atm i'm not very rich and prefer spending my money on summoning because it can help non combats as well as combats
  13. got these within 5 minutes of each other, also got me 126 combat (not a great achievement now with summoning, but nice none the less)
  14. ty all hoping to get it by the end of march, which should be easy while going at a slow pace (like 36k a day) however i have to consider how much summoning will get in the way, going to try and get at least 70 summoning and 130 combat asap, then we'll see
  15. depends a lot on what tasks really, cannoning dags in lighthouse can get you 25-30k/hour, while other monsters are slow and can get you only 5-10k/hour if you average 15-20k per hour you are going fast 10-15k is also rather good never really timed myself so these figures are based on what other say, but i suspect they are close enough ty, she shure did put is in our place though :-$ btw, gf lil ty for all you other comments too :)
  16. ty, when i get 99 slayer i'll start doing some serious skilling
  17. i personally agree with this update even though i think the limit is a bit low.... i am not a staker, only used duel arena to get rid of some decent items which were impossible to sell, in hope of gaining something, however with ge that problem will be solved. I did not go there often so i really don't know the extent of the goldsellers using it to trade, however i know it was an easy and relatively safe way of trading gold, that will now have stopped Most of you have noticed this and think that there were too few doing this for it to be justified, this is probably the case, however will you pause and think and tell me what happened to a lot of "good" stakers such as cursed you ? they make a lot of money very quickly (once they have the stats) and sell it, i am not condemming all big stakers however a significant number of stakers did this, while many others also got banned for other reasons. These proportions are a lot greater in stakers than say skillers or pkers because these groups don't make money that easily so they can make less profits over a lot greater period of time, so they are less likely to risk getting banned, and stakers are gamblers so are more likely to risk it this update, although a bit extreme, brings an end to high level staking as a source of irl income as well as removing one of the best methods (imo) of transferring gold between accounts
