  1. The main reason it's not popular in the States is simply because the TV stations don't want it. They can't handle going 45 minutes without a commercial break. I bet most soccer is on at unusal hours (when commerical revenues are lowest). Most American sports have short mini-breaks right? No offence intended either, but most American sports end up like 60-70 ponits or whatever, so there's a goal (or whatever), every few minutes, whereas with football, the average is three goals per game. Americans probably find this doesn't hold their attention. But mainly, it's about the TV revenues (or lack thereof)
  2. 16. No, it's a close up of a star with a planet passing in front of it... still not sure which movie it's from though. Going to hazard a guess, planet Crematorium from Chronicles of Ri[bleep]? -edited-
  3. Yeah, if you change sex, you can get a dress however, I'm not sure if you get to keep it if you change back again.
  4. Mika - love today... rubbish lol, just downloaded it.
  5. Thought about silver hide... might try it out (just thought it might look too much like the steel dragon though) :)
  6. Why do we want new dragons?... read the entire suggestion dude and you'll see. Why in a guild?... because it's related. No room for a guild south of Ardy?... eh, the graphic clearly illustrates that there is.
  7. Hi Bellatrix.... thanks for your post On the first point of Construction being a money sink, I completely agree, but I think you'll find that the enormous majority of money was blown on the planks as opposed to the high level materials such as marble and gold leaves. Both the COSTS and TIMESCALES for converting logs to planks would be identical to those of the Sawmill. The only advantage would be some minor EXPERINCE. It's a nice alternative to all that running and money spending. At least at the Guild, it'll be a little more worthwhile. While I like the idea of a minigame related to construction, it's a little outwith the scope of my suggestion :) On the third and final point. I quite like the idea of clue scroll construction rewards and if enough other people support that, then I'll add it. For now I'll leave it alone (mainly coz I can't be bothered designing another monster atm). Thanks for your feedback anyway, it's constructive and appreciated :)
  8. It's made in your house on a Banner Easel. You need level 66 to construct one in your workshop. You also need level 48 crafting to be able to make a banner as well as 1 plank and 1 cloth. You also need to pick a crest from that guy in Fally.
  9. Fatboy Slim - Greatest Hits - Why Try Harder (specifically, Sho Nuff)
  10. I haven' t noticed any difference between grown trees and permenant trees (appart from the huge graphical difference). So far as I can tell, they regrow at the same rate and are as likely to give you just as many logs. They even give you birds nests.
  11. LOL, your dog looks well annoyed... "You want me to do what?" ;)
  12. Harrington replied to InfamousDuck's topic in Off-Topic
    Agrees 100%.
  13. Thanks Foooman... will recalculate.
  14. Rough guess. A charged bow gets you 2500 shots (confirmed) Say an average of 20 exp per shot, is that fair? Okay, so you need 5.8m exp right? (5.8m divided by 20 = 290,000 shots) So 290,000 arrow shots (divided by 2500 = 116) So 116 charges... but that's assuming the average exp per shot is 20.
  15. Ok, so finishing the bonus part does permanently get rid of those annoying bones then?
  16. See those darn annoying useless bones that are constantly dropped by creatures that are related to the quest... well, will they stop if I finish the bonus part? Just wondering if it's worth the effort. Thx in advance
  17. Check out Dork's thread on the Player Guide forum... it's really good and will tell you everything you need to know http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=538066
  18. Yeah, I have 21 saved up now :) Can't wait to see what Jagex will do with them. Most recon it'll be god related, red for Zammy, green for Guthix and blue for Sara?
  19. Construction doesn't make that much sense, so Woodcutting is probably the way to go. However, the first level should be around 45 for planks, 50 for oak, 60 for teak, and 75 for mahogany. Yeah, I'd prefer woodcutting experience too. I see what you mean about bumping up the minimum requirements for using the tablesaw. It's something I may add if others agree with your point. Thanks again.
  20. If I was forced to choose between the captains... it's gotta be Kirk. Kirk had a big brass pair, while Picard was more content with talking it out. In terms of entertainment, TNG was better. Better stories and better CGI for the time.
  21. It can be either woodcutting or construction or even both... you guys decide. I don't want to unbalance things too much.
  22. Oh ok.... but those are the same levels that's required for the Sawmill. It doesn't really matter anyway, as the minimum entry level is 60, so if you can get in, you can use the tablesaw regardless. I really just included the levels for formalities sake. :)
  23. 1. I got rid of the marble and gold dust, since I couldn't think of a valid use for them. 2. In regards to cutting experience. I don't want this as an alternative to woodcutting. I'd rather people got the majority of experience from cutting trees. But it would be nice to get a little experience from cutting the planks yourself so that there's some kind of return for spending so much money (unlike the current sawmill). 3. Location is open for discussion. If the same location is mentioned often enough, I'll draw up a graphic for it. We need to keep it relatively close to a bank, but not too close lol. Thanks for the feedback.
  24. Depends on my mood I suppose... Cinema, archery, rifle range, Celtic games etc...
