I agree with everything you said.. although the 3 hit system i find really annoying :P Not sure if its worth playing anymore if all my work is going to go to waste

Like anything you need practise, you don't become a sports star instantly it takes practise and training. I like to see it as when you start out with no experience [ie 0xp] you don't know anything about magic, when you do your first few skills you learn a few things, allowing you to do something more complicated. This works for practically all other stats. This also explains why theres such an exp gap between lvls, esp high lvls. It perhaps is because you've learned almost everything, and takes you a long time to finally learn a new technique, spell, item etc [ie a new level]

Althought a few noobs i get annoyed with, i also get annoyed with high lvl players such as myself, it really depends on the player themselves, not the combat label they possess. And also people left England for a better life, indeed they did not think of England only, and it wasn't only the youth traveling to America, however having said that i understand the point you were trying to make.

Not sure if this has been said but.... Barrows gloves protect over ah skirt and karils items [probably more...] That if you give Dr Hyde a lant he gives you a 4 dose super defense potion.

Sadly this doesn't seem to be such an uncommon experience anymore. I myself have suffered from this "glitch" when i died in edge and looked at prayer and thought sweet.. ended up in faly with nothing. Its also happened to other friends... Hope it gets fixed soon (according to jagex they fixed a prayer glitch.. obvoiusly not.)

I was in the underground pass and i walked on a trap, but i was writing a message to a friend, so i ended up standing on the trap for 3+ seconds. But that was enough to activate the rol.. im not sure why i switched to rol but im glad i did =P
