As an autoer, this thread deeply offends me :shame: ... :XD:

Auto-ers do Mazes?
And yet this thread spawned healthy discussion and people have interesting viewpoints (to me). So I disagree with you.

~~~~Wakka Blog~~98/99 Woodcutting~~MY RETURN AGAIN~~~~~
I had no idea such a dramatic turnaround was possible that quickly. If it was this easy to quit runescape, theres no way you could have been an addict :uhh: .
I am 65 agility, can i train in ape atoll ?
maybe you could use summer pies for food. They are rather hard to come by, but heal 22 hp in 2 bites, heal some run energy, and even boost your agility by 5 levels. They are really the ultimate agility training food at your level.
86 construction too. Considering the amount of money he would need to do that, and how he gave away all his wealth, I'd say it's the same person. No one else would have the patience to make the money AND train the skills.
9th July 2007 - POH Room increase and more...
Well Mod ash, said "Well i think you find ruby bracelets will have a use later on ;)", When the bracelets were released so it wouldnt surprize me I was searching which jewelry hadn't a function yet, but yeah there is a big chance it maybe the ruby bracelet :D [ Actually ruby bracelet has a use. If you have searched around a bit you'd know that it is an immunity against disease. And how is that useful at all to me? The only spot in all of runescape where you can become diseased has a relecym's balm seller like 5 steps away.
Does runescape really need rules?
LOL, what, you mean the way you can actually vaguely relate that game to how you would act in real-life. I dunno about you, but I don't go about spending ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã30,000,000 on a piece of paper... Unfortunetely though, Jagex have decided that's not the audience they wanna attract. Jagex has decided to take this down the family route, so it makes sense to have safeguards for young children. I dont understand why jagex would be directing the age level of new players to be young children. I mean you should be at least 13 to play... >_> Otherwise your just to damn immature.Not to mention, it's not the kids with the money, its the teenagers and adults. Jagex would probably get more members if they directed the game toward an older audience anyway.
barbarian assult
world 6 is always crowded, but also hard to find a good team there. If you get too frusterated, look for a team on the forums or bring friends.
How many cannon balls?
agreed, do the dagannoths under the lighthouse, but they actually do have decent drops. They drop tons of high level herb seeds and NORMAL bones, not big bones.
Best place to mine..... clay?
The closest spot to a bank is probably varrok west mine, but there it another option. Get a bunch of skills necklaces (charged) and teleport to the crafting guild. Then use dueling ring to bank at cw bank. Also make sure you use a bracelet of clay to mine soft clay.
Does runescape really need rules?
Runescape has 15 rules of conduct. What would happen if suddenly, one day, they all disappeared (well, ok, keep the ones about real world trading/bots/advert blocking). Here's my theory: For a short period of time, maybe 3-4 days, there would be chaos and riots (like when 3rd party programs were almost made illegal). Then, for a month or so, there would be more scammers and spammers then there were before. After a while, however, the community would get much much better. Beggars and people who easily fall for scams would get tired of playing and quit or learn to play properly. The scammers themselves would soon realize that the scams don't work, and then either stop scamming or quit. The spammers and people who spam swear words would have fun messing around with the lack of a chat filter for a while and then stop. The biggest problem in all of runescape is the constant threat that you will get black marks, or be muted or banned. Often, people get reported for talking to their friends, and trying to have a "normal" conversation. Other times, they get banned and have no idea why. Would eliminating the rules help or hurt runescape?
~~~~Wakka Blog~~98/99 Woodcutting~~MY RETURN AGAIN~~~~~
I'm really sad to see you go wakka. I hope you aren't gone for good. I know I never really spoke to you, but I'm glad you were here on tip.it forums. I enjoyed reading your guides (the rune mining one at least). It's a shame that you will never accomplish the ultimate goal of all 99s, but gl in real life. Would it be okay to add you to my facebook?

Noobs-- Where exactly do they come from
um... Some of my best rs friends can't type for their life. But I still don't think they are noobs. It takes a different kind of quality to elevate yourself to the "noob" status. However, I think we can safely say that 99.999% of noobs can't type well.

Noobs-- Where exactly do they come from
It's ok. I came from miniclip too. I try not to be a noob though :wink: .

Noobs-- Where exactly do they come from
What I can't understand is how ALL noobs act the same, speak the same way (it's called nubspeak for a reason :lol: ). Is there some conspiracy somewhere? Is there a noob club that I don't know about?

Noobs-- Where exactly do they come from

Noobs-- Where exactly do they come from
note: noob= annoying person, newb = new player everyone is a newb at one point, no one should ever be a noob ---- According to many players, in RSC, and even early RS2, there were very few, if any, players who would scam, beg or try to make this game less enjoyable for others. When I discovered Runescape, a little over 2 years ago (yeah, i missed rsc by a bit), there were already a lot of annoying players, and scammers/beggars weren't hard to find. Luckily, I found tip.it early. Tip.it is an oasis of intelligence in a (growing) desert of stupidity. I spent over a year training my skills and meeting the occasional friend before making the leap to members. After finally joining p2p, apart from the extra content, I learned that many more mature people and adults played runescape than I previously thought. In the past year, however, even on members worlds, I witnessed a huge increace in the number of "noobs". Not to mention, I never saw a single bot when I joined members, but now they're everywhere :shock: . Last week, I lost my membership again, and i've been wandering the free worlds, being begged by almost everyone to show my quest cape emo (i've had over 10 people call it an emo... it's called an emote :wall: ) I can't seem to go through any populated area without at least 5 beggars asking for money, or "emo[te]"... It's even worse now than when I started, and it was bad then! sorry if I made this sound like a rant, that wasn't what I meant to do. I was simply wondering anyone knows where this all started. When did the noobs start coming? And where did they come from? It seems like they started coming all at once. Or maybe that's just what it seems like. some people claim that a lot of the "noobs" came from miniclip.com, one of runescape's affiliates, and the only other site that could legally run runescape. Let's just say that miniclip is well known as a "kid's game site" and runescape got pretty popular there. What do other people think? I really want to know :XD:

Bow Stringing.
I consider myself a power fletcher, and that statement is inaccurate. I actually refuse to cut the logs, seeing as it is-or was, considering the new update, a few times slower than stringing. I could get nearly 200k xp per hour stringing, compared with 75k per hour cutting. I would buy Yew Longs (U) and Bow Strings and string the longs. If you don't believe me when I say MOST power fletchers prefer cutting to stringing, consider this: Yew longs (u) costed the same as, or less than the price of the logs. However, strung yew longs were sold for more than the price of supplies. This means that many people were willing to not make money from fletching, since cutting was easier than stringing.
