I had an idea that might make getting BA points very fast. I heard that the fastest way for a team to make points is from the healer healing people. Your team gets 1 point every 18 damage healed, so what you could do is find a team with 2 level 5 healers, and everyone else with high hp. Everyone should get to wave 9, then kill all the runners and penance healers but leave the other monsters. Then, everyone stand near the spring and take off armor while the healers heal everyone. I think 500 is the max number of points that you can have at a time. If they healed 9k damage points total, that would give everyone on the team 500 BA points in their respective role. The main issue is if anyone dies, lags, or logs off, then you need to start over again. Does anyone think this would work, and would it be the fastest way?

i asked this question before, and didn't get any straight answers. Unfortunately, all the best places to mine them are also f2p places. For addy mining, (and maybe mith too) the best place is hands down, the hobgoblin mine in the wilderness. You can get there pretty fast from lumbrige or edgeville using the canoes. Bring a charged glory amulet so you can teleport back to edge bank.

i was thinking obby mace is one of the rarest items in the game, as it's the only obby weapon that isn't a drop. You must buy it from the store, which is expensive, it looks pretty ugly, and the stats arent very good either. However, i bought one from the store last week, and i managed to sell it on the forums for around 500k

white sweets were in the knowlege base just before the new treasure trails were released, but at the last moment, they decided to only release purple sweets, so theres only 1 color of sweets now.

world 36 is the double nat crafting world. you can only craft there if you have 91+ runecrafting but doesnt require ess back.

depends. Did you use a saw to build your tentacle pit? If so, you can probably use it for the fire pit. Of course, if it doesn't work, you can always use those tasty spicy stews! :lol:

I saw someone test this on the rs official forums a little while ago, and he tested it for literally hundreds of runs. So yeah, the best way is to kill 1 of every monster type. Thats what I usually do. Also, i tried a run last time with a kill count of 0 (no monsters or brothers) and i got no items at all.

Last I checked, most of tb&jt ARE proper players, with their own non jagex accounts. In fact, i remember Mod Ash mentioning that he was a player even before he joined Jagex.

No offense to Mod Ash, as he's quite a cool guy, but that comment would hold more weight if they decided to make these reqs something hard besides combat. I'm not being unreasonable when I say that of all the things I consider high leveled, 85 combat does not really rank up there. Give me one with 85 defense, 80 herblore, 90 mining, or anything else that would actually provide a little more effort to get. I hardly call 85 combat a dedicated player as someone else said. I like that Jagex is raising the bar from these updates for lvl 40s but it's always combat based when anything gets done. If it weren't for the fact that quest reqs are so inherently non-combat weak I wouldn't care nearly as much. Lastly I want to say that I'm merely annoyed with the update. I'd still rather have "higher level" updates like these than all the endless mediocre ones with pointless new items. Jagex is going in the right direction, they just need to step up and make some decent non-combat reqs in the future. Wow :shock: You completely read my mind! I was always saying that high combat isn't the only high level. High farming would be a better requirement imo. :XD:

believe it or not, onyx and furies are excellent to merchant lately. The market is crashing due to the new cheaper way to get them, but people are selling for prices even lower than the market, because they want to get rid of their onyx as fast as possible. Just buy from a desperate seller for as low as possible, then resell for the normal price.

I prefer using guthans armor while i mage since i can just heal on the monsters in the tunnels, but any barrows armor works well. At my level, I can mage all the melee brothers as well as karil, even in full guthan. Prayer bonus is useless in my opinion since the extra drain on your prayer is unaffected by pray bonus. Plus i only pray on dharok, karil and sometimes verac. The others rarely hit me, even at my level, and i'm a lower level than you!

I think i read something by someone who killed 10k steel dragons, with about 60 casts per dragon. He had 10 dragon drops, mostly legs. I estimated that the dragon drops (forget which they were) would be just barely enough to cover the cost of the runes. So, he only made profit from the lesser drops. I've tried killing steel/iron drags with mage and melee, and even at lvl 90 when I tried it, I found it easier to melee the iron dragons, but mage the steels. Higher levels melee the steels as well. Note that i only meleed irons during slayer tasks, and after i finished the task, so i used a black mask as well.

you may find it interesting that the obby mace is not a monster drop at all. You can only get it from the store. As a result, when people decide to buy it, it's worth around 500k.

This is the best guide on the antiscam herblore method. However, you could include tips on obtaining unid toadflax, snapdragon, and torstol. I'm not sure about snapdragon, but i KNOW that you can get unid toadflax and torstol outside of random events. For toadflax, do the temple trekking minigame, and you will get unid tarromin, harralander and toadflax. For Torstol, open the chest in the agility dungeon. As for snapdragon, [i think] you can get it from the herb reward in pest control.

I have a new method for getting tokkul quickly with the new karumja gloves and you can get an onyx as cheap as 1.5m with current prices. True, the chaos method no longer works, but with my methods, i got 1.1 MILLION tokkul. I'm not ready to disclose all the methods for everyone (a few others already know them). I may write a guide on it later.

All runes sell for the same price, the gloves make no difference with that, so Chaos runes still sell for 9 each. To everyone else: Proof; I didn't realise the implications of this myself until xn00bxfrei pointed it out. 1 Obby cape = 16 Dragonstones. As said, Obsidian Capes right now are around 260k, and Dragonstones/Glory Amulets sell for around 60k each. Theoretically, for every 1 Obsidian Cape you buy, and then sell for 16 Dragonstones, you make around 620k profit. Without a doubt far better than selling around 13 Obsidian capes for 1 Onyx gem. (although, unfortunatly there are never any Dragonstones in stock.. so you wont be able to do this without some huge luck. i.e World hopping straight after an update when there's a Dragonstone in stock in each world.) Thanks.. you ruined my life but thanks... lol Actually the price of runes IS higher with the gloves. However, that is only true when the stock of runes is at or below the default stock. Since the rune store is flooded with thousands of chaos and death runes, you only see the MINIMUM price for runes.

That's a good point, my old title of "how To runecraft without going insane" will be changed. thanks for the suggestions. Anyway, i've tried mining addy and mith while nat crafting, and it really slowed me down, so I really don't recommend that method, unless you really want the ores and don't want to mine it. Its a slower cash flow than simply crafting nats without interruption.

you only need a tinderbox to unlock the route after the quest. After that, you only need to bring a dueling ring, and a NORMAL log, so it's a very cheap and easy way to craft laws. On topic: I think they were talking about nats, not laws. Crafting nats with fairy rings is the second fastest way to do it, after the abyss.

I'm not sure how much gp per hour you can get from whiteberries, but if you use energy pots, and a busy server, and sell the berries 1k each, I'd imagine you could collect about 500 berries per hour.

wallaskis drop special hides that you can make into skeletal armor, but I think its pretty rare. They constantly hit high with mage, so this is only possible if you pray the whole time. I'm not sure if this is good exp or not for a cannon, but it sounds pretty good. I like dagannoths under the lighthouse because they are *hands-down* the best cannon exp in the game. During one slayer assignment, I got enough snapdragon seeds to almost cover the cost of cannonballs, then completed a lvl 2 clue that gave me 1 mil :lol: . I was just lucky though and you will usually lose money there. You can definitely cannon the ice trolls north of Jatizo and make a profit, but they hit hard with melee and range so it's dangerous (wear the fremmenik shield and use melee protect for best results). They drop enough runite items, noted sharks, and herb seeds to break even or even give a profit. I also heard that green dragons can be cannoned, but I wouldnt risk it since it's in the wildy and all the other dragon slayers might get mad :twisted: . It's up to you though.
