Absolutely true.. It may be the best minigame in RS. It's not a skill. You seem to miss an important fact. The definition for a runescape skill is - what Jagex says =/ You may not like it but their opinion on what is a skills > your opinion.

IMHO they should just add those kind of mini-games as a way to train the skill. (In other words BA could be just a 2ndary way to train Dungeoneering)

AFAIK the last floor for now is 35 (in other words at level 69). There is no way to increase prestige above 35 without a 36th room ...

Btw, how many dungeons can you guys finish in 1h soloing ? Because my max is 2 ... and considering that every is saying their xp/h is something like 20k/h I think I'm doing it wrong lol

I think we could use some type of system where you can bind a TOTAL of 125 runes, but you can split that up among 2-3 runes. So you could take like 50 bloods and 75 fires or whatever. I see no reason. The first few monsters almost always drop 20-30k gold which is equal to 400-600 ess. Make few nats, a fire staff and the rest is for combat. With the nats and the fire staff you can high alchemy almost everything, in fact everything that has a HA value more than 50 would be a plus. If you alch everything you can get from drops and skilling you can make 200k before the boss. Enough for runes and equipment. To make it clearer - Kill 2-3 monsters with melee (it shouldn't be too hard). - Make a fire staff (the 3th or 4th log type is the 1st type you can enchant, it cost aprox 1.6k). - Buy 400 (at least) ess from the smuggler. - Make 40-50 nat runes. - Make the others to chaos/death and air runes. - Alch along the way and replenish your runes.

If my current prestige is 12 and the old one is 20, if I reset will the new value (12) override the old value (20) or the bigger one will remain ?

Let me rephrase it, when I kill the boss, which ladder should I use ? The boss one or the start area one ?

leave the dungeon, go down the slide, open your party interface and press "reset". Don't I have to finish the floor to count as +1 prestige, and to finish it I need to go down the boss stairs .. and if I do it the next dungeon starts ...

I am 39th lvl so I can do up to floor 20. How can I reset my prestige at 20 ? (Since the last floor I will do is 20, and after that I will not be able to do 21 .. so I guess it will force me to repeat 20 again)

False. I have done a lot large dungeons on my own.

/offtopic Finally - a Gorgonite Spear (don't mind me I'm just happy :D) Btw for the room bonus exp do I have to kill every monster and explore every room, or just the 2nd ?

This is actually a nice way to train magic. I usually end up with at least 50k gold at the end, which is ~1000+ nature runes. Alch up some arrows (novice arrows 40 ea for example) and its pretty much free magic exp.

Old RS>all Something tells me that you aren't a long time player... 5-6 years already and I like the current version more than the version than. I've played classic as well (till aprox level 40th to all skills) and I wouldn't play the "le olde RS" even if my life depends on it.

Dungeoneering > Current RS ... Let the current RS die ..

The only thing I find annoying about the skill is that I cannot collect 230k gold, magebane and valerian so I can make myself a Gorgonite Spear =/

Last question, since there are no herbs on the smugglers shop ... are they drops or found on special places (same like fish and wood for example)

Noooo... why can't people read dammit? I believe my eyes more than Jagex's words and the hiscores show 79 attack, not 80, which means that there were like 8 hours lost not 30 minutes.

There goes the last few hours of my yesterday play (from 79 to 80 attack) and my 7 sacred clay hammers ...

Any idea how long are we going to be serverless ?
