I, myself, have no clue what to do for pixels. Yet there are plenty of good pixelers on this board. Id recommend looking at some tutorials such as Punkage's Tut. You need to be fairly good at pixels if you want to get anywhere with them. Pixel Example: Now, abstracts is what I do. If you aren't sure what they are heres a few examples: Its kinda hard to explain what exactly an abstract is. Just have a look at some better abstracters than me to see what is possible.

What type of sig/avatar? Pixel or Abstract? Pixel: You won't need any more than paint. Look up some tutorials by searching the boards. Abstract: You will need a much better program than paint, probably Photoshop. You can try some tutorials on the boards or try other websites like Good-Turorials. Just once you've got your style, stick with it and practice.

The only reason the people that dislike it post in it is to get a balanced arguement. Its all kinda biased if everyone that posted in a topic is something that they love too. Think about it, in parliament you dont see people say "Ok, heres my rule . Who wants it? Oh and you can only vote if you like it". Dumb? Yes.

Hah, I smell loop-hole! Besides, lots of people are taking advantage of this new rule coming into place. But then again people are filling all the open gaps with "OMG PHREE BUDDIES LYKE OGM!!!!11111". The only sigs you are likely to get for free are: *Buddy sig (yawn) *Low-quality pixel *Medium-quality abstact (Not many people can manage to sell these anyway)

I wasn't sure what size to make it so I kept it the same size. Tried something new on the border aswell. I can re-size it or edit anything if you want me to :).

I guess, but just following tuts wont do alot of good. I prefer to look at them and alter them slightly. Give them more of a personal touch.

Ill C/C the second sig then: Font: *Noo, Its a smooth background. Make it a smoother font, itll look nicer. *As komodo said, different colour. It can make it hard to read if it is that colour. *Keep it the same font, or if not keep it similiar. A [bleep]y font doesn't really go well with a graffiti font (IMO). *Always make sure you leave a clear gap between your border and text. Not only does it make sure it won't be covered up but it will look neater. Border: *AAAAAH MY EYES. A simple 1px black line would do it justice. *NEVER, unless you know what you are doing, put a transparent border. It makes it look as though it may leak out of it and onto the whole page. *If you dont use a 1px black border, use a darker shade of your background. Or even both, just dont pick a random colour for a border. Background: *Its good, not overly shiny. You can clearly see what it is. Hope that didn't confuse you :wink:

Cows are already considered domesticated animals, as are chickens, sheep etc. I find it interesting that you can draw a line of distinction between these groups when deciding which group is acceptable as food. Bah, well you know what I mean. I wouldn't want to live in a house with a cow wondering about. They aren't bred for constant close contact with humans. Of course they need a certain level of this but not as much as a dog would. Im not sure how I would explain this :?

How narrow minded are you? If aliens came from another planet claiming they were the superior species would you let them kill you? I think all animals have different levels of rights. They should all be given a second chance if possible (say if it got a disease, people would try their best to cure it and not just kill it to save money/time), its the rightful thing to do. But animals that are bred purely for food should be kept that way. I wouldn't really want cows to become domesticated just so people won't eat them. But animals that are bred for domestication (cats/dogs) should not be eaten. I was almost violently ill when I saw someone eat a dog. Its just not right, I wouldnt want my dog to be put in a pot, boiled and eaten. But then again, I probably on see it this way because I want to become a vet when I leave school. Im sure there are other people with very different views.
