  1. Haha, you were right actually. Don't wanna leave you hanging. It looks different probably because it's a different console. All three versions looked a little different.
  2. Weird. Okay then, new pic, same game.
  3. That tends to work really well for me. Of course, it's probably because I'm unintentionally playing up the shy, scared angle. I'm not very good when it comes to asking girls out.
  4. I'd suggest tilapia as a good "starter" fish - it's similar to chicken, but lighter and flakier. Bargain! Looks tasty. Oh, totally. I use to hate salad and now I devour it with a passion. Also hated onions, peppers, cucumbers, beets... all foods I like to eat now. It might be an age thing, or maybe I "acquired" the taste for them. Don't really know. I live in the South too. All about the southern cooking. Apparently tomorrow's dinner is chicken fried steak with gravy, mashed potatoes, green beans, and fried okra. Win. Cracker Barrel makes some pretty good Southern food, too! Not the greatest but it's pretty tasty compared to some. I like their mac and cheese. I'm jealous. I've always wanted to go there. I've never had plantains grilled, but I've had 'em fried, which is similar I guess. Fried conch sounds pretty good, too. I got a free sandwich combo from my job today! (I work at a grocery store, haha) Publix makes a pretty good sandwich.
  5. I dated an Irish girl once. Red hair, green eyes... only been in the US for a couple years now so she still had a faint Irish accent ([cabbage] was SO cash). She was one of the prettiest girls I've ever seen. I definitely have a thing for redheads, but any hair will do. Preferably curly. Not taller than me (haha) but not really short, preferably like an inch or so shorter than me? Somewhere around my weight too (skinny). Boobs don't really matter, although I prefer 'em smaller and perkier. Able to carry an intelligent conversation, likes to watch funny movies, wants to play video games with me, knows things about nerdy stuff, quieter, sarcastic, good taste in books/music, doesn't hate me for liking Rush, can laugh at herself, isn't afraid to laugh at me, likes to eat good food. Oh, and a dog person. No cats. And not sissy dogs either. No Chihuahuas, poodles, etc.
  6. I'm just gonna buy this so I can sing Spirit of Radio. SALESMEN!
  7. I dunno about Hardee's... ever had a charbroiled burger from there? It's been awhile, but it was surprisingly good. Not super. But pretty good. God bless America(n food). Have you ever tried putting the fries on top of the burger? It's choice. Well, I do love a good sausage. Do they have bratwursts in Australia? Very tasty. Aww, no lasagna? Well, I know the feeling - took me until I was 17 to enjoy eating lasagna. I'm all about the fettuccine alfredo though. Food is good. \
  8. Nnnno... the website I got it from is MobyGames. But that's not the name of the game. ;)
  9. That really hurts my feelings. I love food because it tastes good. For the record, I barely play RuneScape anymore, and I weigh about 125 lbs. I'll post a picture of myself if you don't believe me, but why would I lie about my weight? ;) Hey, I'm all about nice cold water after a run, or fresh air after being inside. I guess I over-exaggerated. Heh. :) Also, I invented a new sandwich today! It's called the "Elvis in Vermont" - grilled peanut butter, bananas, bacon and maple syrup. Quite tasty, if I do say so myself.
  10. I've always wanted to try making creme brulee. I don't even know if I have the right equipment for it though. Google away! 1. Melt chocolate. 2. Melt peanut butter. 3. Dip marshmallow/graham cracker/donut/cookie in both. 4. ????? 5. PROFIT!
  11. Magic. :P The hint certainly helped too. I have another one that might be easier if this fails.
  12. You still need meat and veggies! ;) Throw on a slice of tomato and maybe some turkey?
  13. No need for a new pic; it's RedCat!
  14. What are snags and rissoles? And I do love a good steak. Need to learn how to grill better though, my last attempt was... well, disastrous. It was a typo, thanks for pointing it out. I know how you feel; I used to be a really picky eater. Still kind of am, but I'm trying to expand my horizons. Just start trying everything! It'll help broaden your tastes. Maybe just start by adding little things to foods you already like? That sounds really good. I'm a big fan of prawn/shrimp/etc. but I've never tried one on a sandwich-type thing. I assume it's basically a sandwich? :P
  15. I didn't know there was a such a thing worse for you than ramen, but apparently there is. :o Looks tasty. Never seen it in any stores around my house though. I never knew that ramen was that bad for you. I don't understand how ramen could be high in 'fat' when it's just noodles. D: How?! Sooooo many preservatives, sodium, probably some MSGs for taste.

  17. I don't care how you talk about food, as long as it's about food? The gallon challenge? Nice, man. I respect anyone who can do that - I'm zero for four on it. *barf* :?
  18. On Texas toast. Holy crow, that sounds incredible. I assume you boil the spaghetti first? Any kind of cheese?
  19. I didn't know fried rice wasn't "authentic" Chinese food. Cool. Generally I get lo mein when I order takeout. And I have a friend who's like that. Uses chopsticks. He thinks it makes him look cool. But the fork wins every time. Just watched an episode of Man Vs Food. Man, I want to be that guy. Those eating challenges look so fun.
  20. I can do a mean Ed from Ed, Edd 'n' Eddy. (That's the big dumb one, haha :? ) And an okay Chewbacca. Always wanted to to Daffy Duck's voice.

    Food.

Food. Can't live without it. Necessary to our survival. But while water and air always remains the same, food is a vast, ever-changing experience. It's hard to really enjoy breathing or a glass of water (unless it's a really hot day) but one thing everyone can love and bond over is food. Whether it's an elaborate dish prepared by the finest chefs, or you and a friend eating a burger, we all find enjoyment and comfort from food. So why not discuss food? Go nuts (no pun intended) about it! Talk about what you just ate, what you want to eat, eating "challenges" you've won (or lost, I've done my share of losing)... share recipes, ideas, experiences... weird foods you've eaten, the best (and maybe worst) places and foods to eat... the possibilities are endless. Why discuss it? Name me one person who doesn't enjoy eating at least one certain food. Myself, I invented a sandwich today: peanut butter (crunchy, though creamy might be better), marshmallow cream, honey, and cinnamon on white bread. Tomorrow I think I'll make another, and add some banana slices and chocolate chips to it. Can anyone help me give it a name? :P And while watching my dad make BBQ beans today (the best I've ever had, no lie) I had an idea: doesn't matter if you're a trained chef or just a regular joe, there is one food you can make that gets people saying "wow". You may not know what it is yet (I don't know mine) but it's there. I have a friend who makes some of the best burgers I've ever had - and that's basically the extent of his cooking ability, haha. Disclaimer: Just because I play RuneScape and love to eat does not make me 350+ lbs. [hide=I AM NOT FAT] [/hide]
  22. I'd punt two for a thicker, more chocolate-y shell.
