MERCHS and PLAYERS GO SELL HAPPY!! News at 11 ((From SODB))
jonstark7x8 replied to deangut's topic in General Discussion
Ha, this is freaking awesome. Rare merchants aren't hurt by this if they just hold onto their rares and wait for it to bounce back. Actually, some merchants such as I do, view this as a time to buy more rares and stock up at such cheap prices. Smart merchants will only prosper at the end of this period where raw materials "seem" like a better business. -
Beliefs are a touchy subject because there are so many different ideas, values and opinions. You can't say that people are getting very stingy on an issue, because there are people that agree with that person that think quite the opposite. It is all a stance of point of view, and it's not fair to view it as people "pmsing" or "freaking out." I am slightly offended by people that trample all over what I believe, because wouldn't anybody be offended if someone were to completely disagree with your views? Unless you are horrifically uninformed and/or passive, than you would let it slide. I remember flipping on the T.V and the 700 club comes on. Pat Robertson starts rambling about how Islam extremists have bombed another church in Pakistan and how you NEVER hear about Christian extremists. He kept talking about how Islams are the only people taking it this far, and that Christians never do. Now, imagine this, what if you supported that Islam extremist, wouldn't you agree with that extremist and believe that what he/she did was the right thing to do? This is where it gets touchy because a lot of people can argue "well, Christians don't kill other people" etc, etc. But that's unfair, because there are other people that probably view Christianity as hostile. And ejaculating this propaganda is unfair. I wish there would be a happy medium. We can only hope and wait as society evolves to a more unified state. Where other countries/coalitions aren't distrusted. Where an opposing religion won't be prejudiced against. I readily doubt there will ever be a happy medium. Welcome to society.

Michigan: now officially the stupidest state in the nation
jonstark7x8 replied to chris1216's topic in Off-Topic
I voted NO. I don't get why it was passed. I am extremely dissapointed with the people of Michigan. It's hard for me too explain why it should not be banned. But affirmitave action promotes diversity and would nullify a bosses power to choose employees based on race/ethinic background/culture/gender/etc. You can't say that race/gender/etc. never plays a role. You can ALWAYS say that, but it will NEVER happen. Everybody is a little racist/prejudice inside. YOU cannot say that yourself. I have never met anyone that has ever said they were ONE HUNDRED PERCENT non-biased. Ask yourself that question, and you'll answer it yourself. -
(Secretly) The Fastest Mage Exp Possible (EXPENSIVE)
jonstark7x8 replied to ikraz66's topic in General Discussion
Can't trade in the alching arena anymore. -
Ok, thanks, and yes I am failing curse
-
Where is the best place to curse, where are low level mage monsters that are killed frequently and is still multi? Please Respond, Jon
-
Dude, that's exactly like me. I started when I was young because I just thought it would be much simpler biting it off. And it hasn't failed me yet  I also don't get how people bite their nails from anxiety or nervousness. Just weird. Lol.

South Park - Make love, not warcraft (won an Emmy)
jonstark7x8 replied to DragnFly's topic in Off-Topic
God that was an AMAZING episode. The whole episode is on youtube in 3 parts I believe. Tons of uploaders trying to get more channel views  . The diarhea thing was just gross. But Butters with his "Hello Kitty Island Adventure" Made me LOL  . That was just classic. -
What do you think the most respected 99 cape will be?
jonstark7x8 replied to Candymann16's topic in General Discussion
Agility would be my most respected. You can't "buy" it at all. If money can make it easier, than yes, you can "buy" it, thus, those who can afford slayer supplies/cannonballs, et cetera, are "buying the skill." Nevertheless, I myself personally respect those with 99, or even 70 slayer  -
What are you smoking? Enchanting at Magic Arena owns! It's the best, I tried getting to 94 on it, but alas my membership ran out and I only got to 91. Anyways, with private chat off you can expect 80k+ XP there AN HOUR. "Faster alching yew or tele'ing to Camelot" Are you joking? Those are like 65k xp an hour. Oh, it's not important, but you get 3 runes per invo of orbs you desposit. (Deaths, bloods, or cosmics.) You will also easily top out to 16k Encant points quite fast, I just spent 2 hours or so to get a pair of infinity boots, just to get a bit of cash back. You can always go bigger if you REALLY want your money back. Then again...if you would rather save money...

Donkey Kong Country 2 owned me.

At the Magic Store, you don't have to hop to get more tokkul, after you sell 10 chaos runes, it is already down to 9 tokkul per chaos. So after the shop is stocked at 260 chaos (I don't think I have seen a single world with LESS than 250), you're straight back to 9 tokkul per chaos you sell. So it would be virtually pointless to sell 9 chaos to the store for maybe 9-18 more tokkul per world? Trading sticks? Huh.
-
Why would you want to sell something to general store? The only reason I could think of is to get rid of large amounts of products. For example, coifs, hard leather bodies, uncut willow longs, etc. My general rule of thumb is if it's not worth the time to sell to another player, then alch it. If it's not worth alching, sell it to general store, and if it's not worth selling to the general store, note and drop. Another thing I worth hopping worlds for is rune arrowtips, I believe you can take out the first 50-100 for an average cost of 250-300each. It is OK xp and OK cash. I do recall that the best place to do this was Ranger's guild, but I think Catherby was OK too.. Mith arrowtips are very good at King Lathas' Training Ground, I believe.

Pest control chaos&death stock beats everywhere else. Shilo Village waterfilled vial stock is OK, but not high enough to hit your pin every world, last time I checked, there isn't a deposit box in the bank. Ardougne general store is the best at "low-points" in population throughout the day, because that store stocks up to 500 at 12 each (the highest cost, not that it matters much anyway.) But at populated times of the day, the general store is dead useless to buy vials. If I can think of more, I will edit/post. Oh, and I actually have this happen to me a lot; I notice that some people go to the same order of worlds that I go through, e.g Swiftswitch puts worlds in numerical order, RuneScape world selection page puts it in whatever order you have it defaultly set in (population, server location, numerical order, et cetera.) I, go by numerical order, and it's funny to see people going to the same world you are going to at every hop, so I just go to the opposite end of the world list and hit all the shops there. Normally, the stores on the other end are highly stocked.

Crazy ways you've dumped/rejected a girl/guy...
jonstark7x8 replied to the_trinity_11's topic in Off-Topic
Roflmfao, sorry, I just can't stop LAUGHING. I've rejected tons of girls, so now all the girls think I'm a eunuch. Like, Barihawk, I do not get past character flaws that easily. I am dead harsh, I personally don't think I will ever find true love because I am so judgemental. I do not like drinkers, smokers, druggies, people that don't enjoy life, shallow people, people that are too religious, dumb people, et cetera. The biggest turn off for me is dumb women, I just can't stand incompetence. -
I'm in Pre-Calculus too...But I know you can find it by graphing it on a graphing calculator, and then going to trace --> vertex. If I remember the equation I will post here :D

I read through this whole topic and it made me laugh out so much, some of you guys are quite..."special" in a sense. Our school's Asians (3% of school district, lol) are mostly Chinese, but it's hilarious to watch the new Asians be called "that weird Korean kid." And when people call for me and don't remember my name they just yell out, "Hey, you! The Chinese kid!" The eye thing gets on my nerves so much! My friends love coming up with Asian/Chinese jokes, and they feel obligated to tell me. "Do you guys, like, see the world in widescreen?" Or "You're so smart, you put a new meaning to souped up imports." Oh, and apparantly I have "Chinese powers" too and I'm also immortal, according to my idiot friends.

What skill do you enjoy the most - and why?
jonstark7x8 replied to Peronix's topic in General Discussion

Any high lvls that refuse or cant get a fire cape?273 names!
jonstark7x8 replied to antonwhy's topic in General Discussion
Jon_stark7x8 - 90 Combat - 84 ranged. I know I'm not 95CB, but seriously, combat isn't a major factor in getting the fire cape if you're just smart and know what to do : I watched my two friends BOTH unsucessfully go for the cape 4 times each, and I just couldn't pull myself together to waste my hoard of snapdragons. 2-3 hours and hundreds of thousands worth of supplies just doesn't intrigue me for a cape with a little more bonus :Z I do still think, however, that you it does require a good amount skill, and I applaud =D> anyone that has a fire cape, because patience is something I am at lost with. -
Good luck at school, and enjoy my gift. One of my favorite novels, The Count of Monte Cristo ended with this appropriate quote: "Until the day when God shall deign to reveal the future to man, all human wisdom is summed up in these two words,-'Wait and hope.'"

how long does it take you to recover from over training?
jonstark7x8 replied to youknowwho's topic in General Discussion
I always need a goal to attain, and I could do some of the most boring things over and over again to obtain my goal, e.g I powerfished in Shilo for 76 two months ago. And then usually I drop the skill and never use it unless I need to. I've never fished a single fish since I got 76. I personally like to rotate skills so I don't get too bored. :P -
Craft airs.
-
Fail cursing is quite good xp, and at your level it really wouldn't be worth enchanting at the magic arena.
-
Yeah, I hate when that happens, but I'm uber paranoid with my below-par internet connection so I always desposit 1,000 coins at a time :anxious: .
