Great article Stormrage, I completely agree with you. I wanted to vote yes to wilderness and no to free trade. I very rarely PK but I felt the old wildy was a big part of runescape and it had to feel dangerous (sure, the revs were nasty but they weren't organized or tactical like players are). But since it was either yes or no to both of them I voted no since the trade limit worked very well at preventing some of the scum of runescape from attempting scams and it hampered real-world trading. The only thing I thought it needed changed was the trade limit between long-term friends to be much higher. The amount of people begging for money and scamming now is rediculous. Someone shoot them all please.

Same here. I often find myself ordering things in my inventory and bank. An example being mining. When I'm mining mith and coal at the same time I separate the mith to the top of my inventory and coal to the bottom as I mine it.

99 skill. Has more uses than a phat (depending on the skill)

Frankly, it doesn't really matter if the figures provided are accurate or not - if it scares people away from real world trading then Jagex has achieved it's objective.

I've got 2 accounts, my main and one called 'Lvl 18 guard' for when I'm bored and feel like messing with people.

As I thought, WoW seems solely combat and quest based going by what I know of it and what I have read here. Exactly why I didn't want to bother playing it. I have a strong distaste for quests and no real interest in the combat feild either. That's why I like RS - It's got tons of variety in the way of things to do. That's just my opinion anyway.

You may notice that the most spoken language after English is German. Well, thats what I've noticed anyway. Pretty much all the non-English speakers that I've seen have been German. I've tried speaking back to some of them with the very little, broken knowledge of German that I have[/i]. And Frankie Ya, They didn't say German was close to English, they said it was the closest language to English. Which I would agree that it is.

I'd second that. Alot of people have mentioned scammers to be the one thing thing they want abolished, but scammers take only your money or a few great items if you manage to fall for the scam whereas hackers destroy your whole account and there's not a damned thing you can do to prevent it. I'd much rather all hackers gone than scammers. Oh, and the word 'noob'. Anyone who uses the word just cause they can is an immature little sh#t.

I got mine from a playstation game. Hated the game but the name appealed to me. I added an extra 'k' cause 'Thunderhawk' was unavailable and I don't like numbers in a name.

That's what I figured. Strange how it happened while I was dead though.

Last night I decided I would go for a nice quiet stroll around the wild. Went to the Dark Knight's Castle and got attacked by a lvl 62 (I'm lvl 58) and it was the most boring fight I'd ever been in. I was wearing full rune and my opponent had full addy. We were both weilding rune scimitars. After exchanging blows of 0's and 1's (he must have had high def and low str) for 5 mins, these 2 rangers, both lvl 58 came in and attacked the lvl 62. That guy ran off and the rangers asked if I would join their team and I replied an affirmative. A few mins later I got a message on my mobile and (stupid me) I looked down to check it. When I next looked at the monitor I was getting hit by 11's so I quickly went to my magic section and clicked on 'Teleport to Varrok' at the exact time I got hit by yet another 11 and my health dropped to nil. Instead of going to Varrok (Via teleport) or Lumbridge (Via...Death?) I found myself in a very small room with 4 things that looked like control sticks (they were called appendages) on each side of my character. I was still wearing my full rune. I didn't do anything for a bit, they I started getting hit from nowhere even though I had no HP. All the sections were unavailable (Like Combat type, Options, Inventory etc.)I quickly clicked on a random appendage and my character died and I ressurected in Lumbridge without my equipment. Has anyone else had this strange occurance while teleporting at the same time as dying?

One thing I regret... Checking a phone message...while I was in the wilderness...with a skull

lol the very first thing someone said when I logged on to rs just now is "I got hacked, oh well." That sounds believeable :-k
