The vote system is very unreliable... you can vote for any user that has been created.... This is basically Jagex stating loudly that they lost the botting and RWT war... I see RS becoming a very bot oriented game in the future.

It's funny how some people will glorify the work of crippled accounts such as lvl 3 skillers or challenge accounts like Vilandra made but will make fun of someone having a set of goals that is unefficient from standard training. Someone getting max kill count in GWD will be praised even though there are better training methods out there. Someone collecting different types of logs will get a frown from the community. Some posters here should stop with the double standards.

I hope Suomi doesn't go all out on crafting. I heard he was only getting b-staves for "some" crafting training without the aim to go to 200M in one go. TBH, I wish all top players would train slayer first to get effigies drop and not lose out in combo skills later on.

Can Drumgun reach 200M WC before anyone catches up to him with 8 skills at 200M? There are currently 4 players with 7 skills at 200M. I'm pretty sure Paperbag will get another 200M before Drumgun gets WC, Telmomarques... depends on how fast he gets to 50M slayer, Jdelacroix is focusing on dungeon these days and I don't see him maxing another skill shortly, Suomi could go all out on crafting, but it would lock a 2nd effigy combo for him and would hurt him in the long run.

Elvis has reached 200M dungeon for his 5th skill at 200M. Suomi should reach 200M magic later tonight for his 7th skill at 200M.

That would be in line with what I've been told also. I see a race for the most skills at 200M coming soon with Drumgun, Telmomarques, Suomi, Paperbag and just maybe Jdelacroix. Early months of 2011 will be a nice tracking time.

You can get one form Diango... meaning you can crack one open, drop or destroy and get another cracker.

suomi is a kind of phenomenom. you actually get your exp only updated when you log out, he plays and at the end of the day he logs out, then you can wonder how he got 4 mil exp in 10 seconds. its just not updating as he stays online There's also a 6 hour timer logout, meaning his XP is added at least every 6 hours. Unless I'm mistaken...

Suomi currently has 1 combo effigy useless with mining and smithing. If he keeps on training WC, he'll add another one which will hurt him once he starts slaying. Telmomarques has 2 combo effigy skills maxed out, but those are fast skills meaning wasted XP in his case is less important time-wise.

@ Zodiark I haven't kept a table of weekly gains, but there are very nice features on Runetrack.com that makes it pretty easy to check daily gains from specific players as well as gains from chosen period. Check it out! @ Mercyarms Paperbag is getting cash in an active way that doesn't give XP these days. This much he's told me, as to what it is... that would be his secret hehe. Concerning the slayer pace of Tezz. This is definitely what you can expect from a top player going all out on a skill. Zarfot used to record the same gains and Telmomarques is having a similar training pace. The real question is : Will Tezz keep slaying when he maxes out HP?

Update of the top 15 1. Skiller (previously Aasiwat) : 2,43B xp. Still training magic, he's also keeping the daily farming and gained some major XP in thieving last week. He's still very consistent and will stay unchallenged for a couple more months . Coming milestones: 100M ranged and 100M farming 2. Zarfot 2,35B xp. Inactive. 3. Jdelacroix : 2,27Bxp. Jd is still training mainly dungeoneering lately and he's 2 weeks away from taking over rank 1 overall from Elvis. He's done some slayer and thieving last week while still doing the daily farming runs. . Coming milestones : 100M xp ranged, 100M dungeon and 100M HP 4. Drumgun : 2,17B xp. A major milestone for Drumgun last week, 100M WC for his 10th skill over 100M, putting him at a tie with Skiller for most skills over 100M. He's still the player with the most skills at 200M with 8, but someone should tie him before he gets a 9th. Coming milestones : nothing in sight 5. Elvis : 2,08B xp. Still going very strong, Elvis has been training crafting and dungeon. He should get his 5th skill at 200M next week with dungeon. . Coming milestones : 100M WC, 200M dungeon, 100M attack and 2,1B xp 6. telmomarques : 2.07B xp. He's lost a bit of ground to Elvis last week while still training slayer, but he's still one of the fastest training player from the top 15. He could challenge Drumgun for most skills at 200M with prayer (short term) or STR ( long term). Coming milestones : 100M str 7. Gertjaars : 2,02B xp. Still inactive. 8. Elias : 1,92B xp. Mainly training crafting last week, Elias is keeping a fast pace and should get his 5th skill at 200M before 2011. Coming milestones : 200M crafting 9. Lan : 1,87B xp. Inactive . 10. Erw J : 1,85 xp. Inactive. 11. Paperbag : 1,85B xp. Still training farming, Paperbag is also getting the cash for ranging. Once he starts, he will be challenging Drumgun for most skills at 200M seeing as he's currently at 7. Coming milestones : nothing in sight 12. Kingduffy : 1,81B xp. It's pretty simple, Kingduffy has trained every skills last week aside from cooking and fletching because he has them at 200M. He will lose a rank to suomi soon but will rebound when he will reach Erw J and Lan. Coming milestones : 100M WC 13. S U O M I : 1,80B xp. He has been steadily climbing the ranks these past months and he's about to gain a couple more ranks in the coming weeks. He's still training dungeoneering as well as WC/FM/magic and he reached 1,8B xp today and will reach 200M magic next week for his 7th skill at 200M. Coming milestones : 200M magic (7th skill) 100M WC 14. Tezz : 1,72B xp. Still slaying at a very fast pace, Tezz has not gained XP in effigy skills last week which makes it all the more impressive. He's done some dungeon also and gained 100M str for his 8th skill over 100M as well as 1,7B xp . Coming milestones : 200M HP 15. Green098 : 1,70B xp. When I started tracking the top 15, 1,5B xp was the floor. It is now 1,7B xp with Green098 reaching that mark earlier today. She mainly trained prayer and ranged last week. Coming milestones : 100M ranged Players outside the top 15 are still at least 80M xp away. It might look like the status quo is maintained but Skiller 703 is outpacing Green098 by a 5:3 ratio since the last 4 months. Expect some new faces in the top 15 next year for sure.

But you are OK with the way the rare item economy works? Or the fact that pking(the main thing in scape until 07) is dead? Not to mention that jagex can still trace and ban people purposely giving away cash(like they did back when free trade was allowed). Another thing that alot of high level players miss is the thrill of staking, which would also be a major boost. I've never cared much for the rare economy, same thing with pking (it was never the "main thing", even though it was more popular back then). As for tracing very unbalanced trades, I don't believe Jagex has that ability. I had friends who made nice money when they quit selling their cash without punishment.

Pretty interesting chart. It begs a question though, how long can players like Telmomarques and Suomi keep up that pace? We've seen high pace players quit lately such as Gertjaars and Zarfot.

It was Zarfot when I checked early in november. I don't think Skiller, Elvis or Telmomarques caught up to him... suomi maybe.

Be it true or false, I don't want this to happen. I've always been uncomfortable with someone acquiring money without actively working for it. Giving cash to an alternate account or friend is killing the spirit of this game which should prevent someone from having an unfair advantage over others. Much like botting and account leveling.

Tezz is about to reach 100M str for his 8th skill over 100M. He's also getting closer to maxing out HP. Drumgun will reach 100M WC later today or tomorrow. This will make him tie with Skiller for most skills over 100M with 10 skills. Unlike Drumgun, Skiller has multiple skills close to 100M though.

D med at alch price is also a good option. It's easier to get rid of at no risk at all with alching and there's also the chance the item gets picked up by a manipulating clan for major profit.

The main difference with dungeoneering is that everybody knew they were training at a slower pace with abandonned floors because we knew they would update it pretty soon.

I would rate frost bones an equal game changer as ectofungus and guilded altars. We're talking more than doubling the previous common way of training which was dragon bones at 250 something xp to 630 xp with frosts. Every game changing updates has an impact on previously obtained XP or perhaps the perception of that XP. Prayer training was not considered a good way to go until frost drags came into the game because it was still slow with dragon bones. Not many players tackled the skill compared to what you see today as it is seen as an expensive but very fast skill for top players who have the money. What I meant is that every time there is a game changing update, all the XP you had previously can now be considered wasted time. This is a cycle that I hope will never end though... I like updates!

I remember Green098 having pretty high XP when Zezima, Uloveme and Yogoson were at the top 3 years ago, meaning she gained a lot of XP with lower XP rates. Kingduffy was also in the same situation at the time. I'm surprised by Dapledo's rank on that list, that player has a very balanced character with high XP in slow skills.
