I was curious what might be the esteem per hour just camping the two islands and syphoning everything that is blood/death/soul. I'm max so yeah... Need 200k esteem points.

I'm sure its the rarity of the drop that needs to and will eventually be fixed.

Personally find someone, such as a friend to craft you a wand if you need one. You should post this in the help forum and post some stats too.

First journal... First kill... Second journal... 7th kill... Third journal... 8th kill... Fourth journal... 13th kill! What an amazing kill too! Downed her within 4.5 minutes and used a total of 2 rocktail. Going to see if she's immune to stuns for bruno. Back to workshop-span!

Holy crap... Back to back journal drops. This makes the 8th kill. Hopefully I get the fourth journal before like the 20th kill.

Are you brute forcing her, sitting through most of the fire waves and tanking dark bolt hits? Not bruteforcing her no. I don't mind running around a bit to significantly reduce kill time since I am killing her for profits. If you are only journal hunting (which I assume you are), then yeah do it however you want. Yeah I am. With that said other than when I'm brute forcing her its hard keeping priorities in check. Maybe tomorrow ill get a few more kills in. I'm hoping I don't have to do more than 40 kills. Edit: I'm thinking of doing 10 kill spurts in between my artisan workshop crap. Hopefully knock out both and purely dedicate myself to runespan.

I know, but the dps is about 1/10th more. Not a big difference. I might try running it with blitz. I don't get where you're getting that extra dps from :S ofc barrage is useful (if only as a switch) if you want to take out the souls too Oh, wait I misread the wiki. I thought barrage had a higher base damage because it was a higher level spell. I've been cashwasting the whole time :D.

Finally had some success in taking the queen down. Sadly no second journal, but I've refined by brute force qbd mage setup. I'm going to run her again and see what I can pull out. The basic idea is to just stand in the middle fire hole as much as you can with torment and soulsplit active the whole time. You want to constantly spam abilities using bloodfire barrage, stepping aside to release dreadnips and using the unicorn in conjunction with rocktails when needed. Pot when needed and watch your prayer if you don't got the penance aura becuase you'll go through at least 12 doses a run. Edit: pretty excited about doing this now. Three runs in and no journal. Oh well... I'll try more later. Currently 4 kills in and no journal.

Onyx (i) is your best in slot for all class rings followed by berserker ring Warrior, archer and seers ring (I) are best in slot rings for each respective class. All three glacor boots are best in slot boots for each respective class. Top end gear to idealistically obtain is: Ganodermic armor for magic. Replace gloves for spellcaster gloves from dominion tower when possible. Chaotic staff is still best with polypore, staff of light and greater runic staff behind it. Armadyl battlestaff is in between and acts as an air staff. Arcane stream necklace is best in slot for magic amulets. Armadyl is best for range. Again, replace gloves for swift gloves from dominion tower. Saradomin's murmur is best is slot for range amulets. Chaotic crossbow and offhands are best. The rest I can't touch on as I'm about to get off break from work. Edit: pretty much bandos helm, plate, tassets, goliaths, Sara whisper are best armor. You wat to get all melee chaotic variants and offhands to maximize dps for monsters with different weaknesses.

I just suck then. Every time I tried dodging the shadow bolt I get hit. The fire walls are pretty easy. Tbh I think I just need to practice rotation beforehand.

Yeah i noticed :D. I messed up every damn tormented soul because I was trying to perfect my rotation. I should have practiced it at te dummies first though. On another note I wish magic had more abilities.

I died like a noob, but its definitely amazing. I didn't SS her though. I though being smart would be using deflect range.

Yeah to be honest i don't think i'll be using anything but the Ancient spellbook for any PvM combat anymore. Since it's so cheap to use Barrage now it's by far worth it and even more so when you're bossing. Think it's time to stock up on some bloods and rocktail to camp her then. What do rocktail heal with 99 constitution? Also my gear puts me at 8.5k lp.

I don't know, but I just hope it ain't your stereotypical do-gooder ending. Maybe some twists and a slight cliff hanger. You would think something that is forbidden in a fantasy game would end up following the "do as I say" rule without remember really much about it.
