  1. To be honest don't jump on the ship (band wagon) just yet. I would only buy a moderate supply in case the mechanics aren't as demanding or expansive. For all we know we may just need to do manual ship upkeep using high grade planks, nails, etc. truthfully we know nothing.
  2. Ok, grammar nazi's back on topic please.
  3. Well honestly it's a good buffer for games in fight pits. In the cauldron I think it may just to switch things up. Hell, maybe the xp reward from it won't be given until the end. I got a lot of ideas to the mechanics of the new combat training minigame, but ill keep most of them to myself. I do got a feeling tokkul might be also used as a means of smithing the pieces and be awarded from the cauldron.
  4. I've been contemplating making a ranged and mage version of the dfs just for ease of access. I mean super antifires do enough, but its just ease of access. I started thinking of ports before gym and came to a conclusion. If we hire a crew ad captains who is going to feed, armor, and in general provision them? Hah! I would be slightly amazed if jagex made ports something of a huge resource dump.
  5. Yeah I'm calling each set being worth roughly 60-100m tops when things settle.
  6. Anyone look at the Combat Cauldron concepts and how the lava flow was hitting one of nine other squares on the floor. Maybe this lava is a random event in the arena to keep players moving? I also noticed that there was a mechanic to the fight. While looking at the drawings that showed the Combat Cauldron floor it will either raise or lower. If I could make an educated guess I would say that the cauldron will probably hold the wave style of the other two minigames. The difference being that maybe they will be random. One thing I'm sure of is that I think they will lower the floor; the lower it gets the hotter it will be (and maybe the stronger the tzhaar get?).
  7. No... If oyu remove an aura it breaks the effect. On another note I spend 30k loyalty points buying penance the basic mage and ranger ones and a couple emotes.
  8. Inb4 everyone and their mother goes to nex with blood fire blitz.
  9. My setup was this: gano hood, top, bottom, chaotic staff, seers (I), arcane stream, comp cape, spellcaster gloves, Ragefire boots. Inventory had uni scrolls, dreadnips, ovl, pray renew, super antifire, fires, bloods, 3 pray pots and rest rocktail. Any decent gear should suffice. Dreads are just something extra. Most of your heat comes from te staff and healing too.
  10. Because of jads mechanics his attacks in both fight caves and kiln are legacy issues protection prayers work 100% on them.
  11. Radagast the brown is my man!
  12. Welcome to secondpagescape! fifth sword plan bought. Which means I start in the big leagues now! 50% for golden cannon. Got two days off coming and hopefully I should have gold cannon and some of the royale cannon before then.
  13. I just got home and did a run with her to see if what you said was accurate. I still got hit 750's from walking through the fire wave. the 2x thing I think is just an issue with the code on how you walk. This means if you walk directly through it, not horizontal, you should only suffer 1000 damage. If the systems pathfinding code makes you walk horizontally Through the flames you'll suffer the damage twice. Also I think 1000 damage is from your antifire potion running out. Also I want to note I did the trip accidentally forgetting to bring prayer potions so I went in just using torment and soulsplit at critical points. Mind you also I was maging and this is by far the best method to attempt her with. With bloodfire blitz and soulsplit active you are effectively healing 25% of your damage back to you. I used overload, prayer renewal, super antifire, unicorn + scrolls, dreadnips and rocktail when needed. I think I used about 7 rocktail becuase I let the souls get to me, but a few I managed ot trick. Here is my set-up.
  14. Wow if the bosses are that hard I feel bad for my floor sellers. I mean thunderous might just be a delay lag, but cursebearer ad blink especially sound horrendous.
  15. Nex

From what I hear max mage gear and probably want to use a shield and wand. There is a vid out that jagex was touting about how they successfully duoed her. I'm guessing it should be feasible to 3-5 man her easily. I think people said her blood reaver phase was hardest.
  16. The one time you want some xp-waste cultist to banter on about something and you can't get even that...
  17. I'd be willing to bet on rewards from the organ somehow. I tried playing Air surge and Fire surge on it to no avail. [hide]Notice how it's showing the old number of runes to cast the spells? Bit weird. The organ can show 19 notes at once, so maybe we play spells in the old spellbook that used to have 19 runes to cast?[/hide] [hide] It's a throwback to the old, less concentional, method of practicing magic. [/hide]
  18. That I knew and now have.
  19. So none of the wizards around the tower give additional rewards? Just the demon?
  20. What are these hidden rewards post-rune memories.
  21. Just add crit to it. In WoW they have a term called twinks. These are runescape pure pkers or noob pkers. I foresee some older armor being made into high grade low level armor (I.e. having higher crit than the other stuff).
  22. It's not just flipping though. Sometimes instant buying an item is just stupid and will lose you tens or hundreds of millions, in the case of higher partyhats or druidic respectively. Then what about people who are trying to bank resources with a limit on them for skills, and so need to leave the offer in for days, or weeks. More ge slots would certainly be convenient. While being a gp-pincher has its pros I don't think people have more than a couple items they do that with at a time. All of these situations come from minority game play strategies anyways.
  23. They do it with most other ranged items. If you want blue dragonhide or a bow above maple, you'll have to buy it from members. They're really inconsistent with low-level items. No free mage items from 30 to 50, tons of melee items that are easy to buy from shops but hard to craft, ranged items that only members can craft... I suppose standardizing gear is too much to ask for. You have a legitimate stake, but honestly are we never going to have something to nitpick about? C'mon, this is the smartest thing they've done for this issue thus far. At least give them a small hand.
  24. Sounds like a slight pull to gain f2pers into the p2p world. Honestly, suppose this is where they are going - a much more honest and straight forward method than teasing people with the mercenaries. Hey you want this armor? Sure. Fine, go buy it. But I want to craft it... Ok become a member. Ideally it's a win for both sides. None of this complete withholding from f2p players besides the obvious high end gear.
