  1. I think he was referring to the weapons which have specs... At least that's what I'd assume because I've been wondering the same thing. Then this is what he wants: http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Combat_Improvements_Beta
  2. It should be on the news post: - Momentum plus: Automatic basics with adrenaline gain and using theshold/ultimates manually. - Ability queuing: Allows you to set one ability to use while another is currently being performed. - Revolution: Set basic ability rotation and use threshold/ultimate manually. - special abilities: Weapon specific and large adrenaline drain (both like pre-EOC). - Quick loadout switching: Switching gear loadouts from the bank and from your inventory. - Action bar quick setup: System that will offer a quick setup for a three combat styles. - Weapon switching: No global cooldowns for this! Other than those I believe nothing else is being changed. They did mention at the end other pvp fine tuning. I also saw pvp minigames. I think we will see pvp battlegrounds designed around instanced versions of popular safe zones. I think this is why they are polling us on which place we would like a minigame to take place (zanaris, canifis, ashdale, priffdinnas(sp?).
  3. I'm calling it... Special attacks will keep their similar dps and adr drain outside the wilderness. Inside the wilderness they will have ramped up dps and same adr drain.
  4. That glakkerprod pride! I wish kuradel gave elmental tasks. Jagex might have to release a few decent leveled elementals first though, to cover the level spectrum.
  5. I believe its better to stay at dragon tooth island (level 85) for a couple levels. Then after that you are fine.
  6. I just sent the hunter finale again at 95% with a merch and fots. If it comes back successful I will have 72 pearl and 26 koi scales. I also sent another 5 koi scale and it will be a total of 31 koi scale. Edit: All on top of getting an adventurer reroll from a random. As soon as I get my architect and hunter back in I'm rerolling it for another voyage.
  7. Personally ability queu is the best for pvm. Life sucks when you think you timed your shield ability right then BAM one hit KO. Also momentum+/revolution is a slayers best friend. Revolution moreso on them specific tasks.
  8. I'm happy they are giving us beta test servers.
  9. Part of me thinks their question is a bit too narrow minded or not worded right to get a good sample of answers.
  10. No, it is a RNG with success based on whether it calls a number outside the percentage covered by the voyage percent. I've also heard about players not getting their special unit voyages for days so you are wrong there. You do not get one special unity voyage a day.
  11. Wise choice considering using rerolls for new crew plus a potential new unit appearing would be more ideal. Moreso than a one off terracotta voyage. Good luck!
  12. Oh thank goodness! I thoughmt I missed out on an amazing reward. I guess this is a slight possitive because I got a special voyage worth in pearl plus a koi scale. Also if I were you I would wait for all your voyages to come back. Then when you can send out the wisp with beefed up stats using rewards and such. After that use whatever remains with the barmaids voyage. What matters is unlocking the wisp if its unit is helpful to you. You'll earn tons of terracotta later anyways. Besides after ship upgrades and buying units its only going to be used to buy trade goods anyways. Granted tradable capes and rings might sell good at the start so that potentially high stat or unique bility unit will come more in handy for success over a 400 terracotta voyage. But the terracotta earned from that one gossip voyage should be negligable.
  13. Well that's fine because I can see it being fine for the more relaxed slayer who doesn't want to go all pokemon trainer with their titan.
  14. My understanding was that it would be a high-level hub. With skills being so easy and fast to train, it seems silly for them to stick to their traditional definition of high-level (70+). If this is going to be a real high-level hub, HLF isn't exactly bad place to start. Given the quest reqs and the fact they keep saying mid-high level hub I'd solidly expect it to be 70+ design wise and even if they do put their definition of 'high-level' higher its still rather biased since what already maxed players want from a hub isn't necessarily going to coincide with what un-maxed players want from a hub. Well frankly its not going to ever be perfect with that outlook. No matter what they do they are going to be leaving out/shortchanging one particular player base. Oh forbid they put in an elder tree teleport without equal respect for crafting by not putting in a high level training variant for crystal singing. Do you get my point?
  15. you mean besides the frequent hiring and then disappointment with really expensive captainsFrequent hiring? Sorry mets stats don't put me at such a large disappointment. Unless the captain has something like feeble then I'm not too concerned... not to mention I think you earn them back at a crazy rate anyway. Oh and my hunter single voyage finale was a partial success earning me 5 pearl and 1 koi scale. Does that mean I won't get the voyage again?
  16. Please don't downplay such an awesome start for the elven quest. They are truely showing an interest in the quest as well as the expected player base who the city will be designed to use. Even though we expected some layout made it might have already be set as a concept. Their next step may be to play with what space the ckncept has for them. The only thing they would have ever gotten down on paper is lore, side stories, art concepts and the key points of interest. The only think they know for sure they want in the city is the tower of voices at the center and a GE somewhere. I'm trying to think as a concept designer trying to cater to a certain audience. I feel they are doing exactly the right thing in querrying the HLF. Granted the majority of them who are active are trolls or experience hounds. There are plenty of genuine players who offer interesting content suggestions and feedback. With that said my answer to the above question would be: - Farming runs to allotments, trees, and fruit trees. - QBD runs from the GE via varrock teleport tab and the port sarim lodestone. - PVM runs to the GWD via trollhiem tablet. - POP daily voyages; checking voyages, black marketeer, the trader, and captains.
  17. Oh hm... well that's a bummer and something I think I've been really missing out on as far as using a familiar for a passive dps increase. Considering how long I've been playing and trying to keep in the 'know' of things that's pretty sad I didn't remember this. I always thought it was a space saver update.
  18. There isn't really a sink for chimes though... that's a bad thing.
  19. Its not valentines day... its too early for jagex love.
  20. I never really used the enchantment part of the slayer helm. I always thought that after the EOC update that clicking the special ability button or the familiar action bar (with special ability action selected) used scrolls stored on the enchanted slayer helm. So how exactly does it work? Or should I say how should it work? Edit: And I agree the helmets should be saved on death by at least the grave.I'm guessing this might have been an oversight in checking the item details.
  21. QBD is A+++++++ on task, easily 24 kp/h and in general you can use 0-2 food max a kill. From the loot I end out with more rocks than I start so I've started using a steel titan. NFS go get ur own. Also do kyatts still make bank loot (if anyone knows)? I used to make them every 1 or 2k blues I got and make like 25m in an hour Oh wow I could so use the money from that! Does green/crimson make money?
