I think it could perhaps work if say each of the 8 clans offered 'missions' or tasks and were associated with specific skills and doing these tasks awarded higher xp than normal and perhaps earned you multipliers for those skills for limited durations. But certainly nothing as boring as in city x you get multiplied xp. That was a concept I was trying to get across in Q's blog. I thought having the elf city full of guild like places was great. I liked using skilling challenges to help unlock the city. Further challenges to train afterwards would be great too.

Thinking about this I am not the first to think tat jagex might have more plans for the elf city and its region if we get a GE there. Right now they need to top a few thibgs or include several things that tge current GE can't do. Right now the contending pro's of the varrock GE are: - Multiple teleports directly to location. - Water resource located close by. - very close bank/furnace location The elf GE would need comparable if not slightly better perks. Some interesting suggestions to tie into the elf culture would be: - Closely located loom/bank combo (enhanced speed maybe?) - Closely located farming patches to the bank. Even if they were hops, allotment or other specials it would be fine. Clearly a spirit tree patch would be a more than ideal piece of content. This would help cover the ease of access. - Closely located magic and possibly an elder tree similarly to the yews in varrock. - Access to a new death hub convenient for fast banking on death. A good perk mighy be giving the elf city a health increasing perk linked to the elves long lives. An idea might be allowing a 5% increase to your lp capacity. This could be used by PVM players post battle. There will be obvious good suggestions pouring in from everyone.

I thought people didn't like ring of vigour because the adr gain wasn't better than the crit bonus of other rings? I've always had mine but didn't use it.

If you plan on powering through some assignments that attack with melee/range you might want to invest in gano/sup seasinger. If you are savvy with the whole triangle then getting subjugation is what you should do. Running with chaotic staff is good and cheap. General gear other than that is arcane stream necklace, mage arena cape, seers ring/6th age circuit and using vecna as a free magic boost is a good idea.

With several kk mass fc around and it having a free instance mode why not? This doesn't really answer your question and I'm sorry. With such ease of access to the monster and higher mass fc they should sell fairly well.

Eirs helmet was on the override list a couple days ago. Its slightly reminiscent of the neitiznot helm, but more graceful and sleek.

I know whats supposed to be coming with the player polls. Players want the option to vote on other parts of the update now instead of hoping jagex remembers later. I guess that's what's bugging people. They don't want jagex to use their "we dont promise" line.

inb4 both tie at 50:50 and are delayed longer due to intense discussion and consideration from the community and jagex staff.

Basically you need to work on constructing or deconstructing the opposing sides towers. You earn renown from doing this which it turn earns you a better faction token. Devotion requires the runite token (150k renown earned with your faction?) and 32k renown. Members earn 45k renown a day.

I personally think both wands look good. I'm more for the bandos set of things. It bugs me I won't be able to get all 8 overrides unlesd they bump things up. I plan on getting arma wand and maybe shield. If they some how let us get all 8 I will go thrown and claw after. Personally in surprised people aren't prioritizing wands first. We have very few wand overrides and both faction wands are very good.

...You're criticizing the update because the interface is too well-designed?Well to be honest they could have had a little more play added for voters. It wouldnt have been bad to have a discussion forum for current player polls. Then on that forum a topic pinned specifically for players to voice their opinion on update priorities. Jmods could then put up secondary poll options based on common player interests on the poll discussion topic. So for example if players picked elf city then they would be prompted to pick what style is most appealing (which is based on what's most discussed by players on the forum): receiving the elf city geared with guild like places or a more grandeure quest. What it boils down to is emphesis on the development (quest or the city) itself and not just the fork in the road choice of content development priority.

Two more days and I'll have both faction rewards other than both hybrid sets(bandos looks better anyways). I am still about 3400 sacred metal and all four armadyl pieces from having all overrides. I really need to start camping caravans.

Well I initially joined Bandos because I enjoyed the faction itself. I joined armadyl after I completed bandos too because of the same reasons. Honestly I am pretty easy going and I really like bandos and armadyl. I do feel erked that the two gods tied for second place for my likability are in a death match.

And finally someone hitd the nail on the head tge right way! That's the issue... the pretty much had mod mark scripted for every single inventor skill video briefing for the public from runefest, january bts and even up to bts 86. The elf city could easily win this poll without its 8 year tenure. Just using how much jmod talk has been thrown about over the elf city/finale potential concept it would win.

The city has been discussed and mulled over for 8 years as someone has said earlier. That is long enough to hype every remote veteran/dedicated player of runescape. On top of that there have been so many potentially good suggestions for the end results its immensely tantilizing. Frankly with the potential of inventor had this skill waited as long at the elf city it would have been an even closer match.

Training areas and points of interest havent even been fleshed out let alone confirmed. Besides all you are doing is grossly generalizing... 75%, really? Even entertaining your general statistic a 25% success rate is worthwhile especially for who the city will mainly be geared for.

Oh ok then I might just go around rocking my cmaul with it then. So much for enjoying my obliteration override for a while.

I just bought the cursed reaver set. What is the scythe override for? It just says 'weapon' and won't override a staff. I'm guessing just swords?

Can someone post a picture of the recoloration areas of the cursed reaver and blessed sentinel outfits? Edit: I just saw it was only the wing joints and cloth for the reaver. I am tempted to buy the set so I can finally have my scythe (I just missed the holloween scythe and I've wanted it ever since).

What about all the bugs(uhh, all bugs, really) they didn't fix? Also, hasn't anyone seen the examine of these darts? ''..made of materials from the East." All in all, their answers just show they know very little about the game. Yeah maybe on this one... I'm used to them though.
