Yeah jagex could do that with the current system. They could have it say something like level 200 and pull a gear level average and place it next to the combat level. Frankly they would more likely add the numbers to save people from being confused. You could do something like this: Take the average of: Torva helm (85), torva platebody (85), torva platelegs (85), torva gloves (85), torva boots (85), saradomins whisper (70), warrior ring (I) (70), and completionist cape (99). The average is level 83 defensive power. Now take the average of: Mainhand drygore mace (90) and offhand drygore mace (90). The average is level 90 offensive power. Now add the two to get 173. Now display their level power of 200 and put their gear defensive and offensive level combination together like this: 200+173

Lucky me... I got a 1 pearl 4 koi scale voyage. I sent it at 85%. I did get another 5 koi voyage though. I forgot I had a black marketeer random and got an adventure reroll which I turned in to get the first trio voyage. I'm excited to sent it out when I get the chance!

Sounds like wands might take a hit too if concentrated blast was so OP.

After last nights voyages I'm 97/100 pearl from superior leviathan ring. I also have all single adventurer voyages completed at 83% through pincers. I also finished the chef outfit last night.

I checked my pearl voyage and it came back. I'm 97/100 pearl for sup leviathan ring.

Just got my last adventurer finale in and it succeeded. I pulled in 16 koi scale and 16 pearls using JM and FOTS. Now I am sitting at 92 pearls and 50 koi scale. I still have a 5 pearl voyage out and returning in 4 hours. I am pretty excited for the daily reset to see what comes. Will I get pearl and/or a trio finale voyage?

You guys need to remember you should be discussing the potential threat. You need to keep in mind the combat formula is the potential threat. While the weapon and expertise a player has is the actual threat. The combat level is supposed to show a players potential to survive (defense and constitution) and their ability to attack (attack/strength, ranged and magic). The inclusion of prayer I guess is for defensive and offensive boost potential. I guess this is why people wanted herblore as a combat stat, too since it had such a big influence. If you really wanted a slightly better formula I think pitting in combat level vsriables for your armours tier level would be great. You could do a defensive average by adding all defensive armours minus the shield together and dividing by slots. Then you would do the same for each item in hand including shields. You would need to double it for two handed items.

Your slayer task streak makes me annoyed with the burthorp slayer fiasco...

I just sent my architect finale at 97% with a merchant and FOTS. I should get 16 koi scale and 16 pearl from it. I also sent 5 pearl at 85%. I should have 50 koi scale and 97 pearl when both return.

Yep, some of us aren't super easy going slayers.

I'm working on t2 slayer helm too. Honestly its nice to see something to get me back into slaying. I miss slaying and its a nice money maker still on sone tasks.

Did 30 Krils on greater demon task this morning and got subjugate gloves and 1.27m in random loot. The gloves sold for 2.6m I decided to do the rest in her dungeon.

I don't see the auras in the shop.

So far some complaining aboit queuing not breaking. They need to allow us to hit esc or hitting another ability to switch what ability is on queu. Also the flashing is an issue. They should just use a glowing highlight on the queued ability.

Ports update for the day: 76/100 pearl for superior leviathan ring. 34/80 koi scale for inferior reefwalker cape. 81% to the loop I'm getting ready to do some solo Kril on task.

Because it is in no way possible at all for a pker to come out you and THEN summon a steel titan to pound on you thereby surprising you. Summoning ought to be included because of this exact situation - it stops people hiding the potential by going in without a summon and then suddenly bringing one out to play. I guess you have a good point.
