Super September is Coming!
Because closing a server is better than dealing with bad PR when the whole community of runescape floods and crashes it?

I am thinking of just finishing up the torva set before paying off the friend. Currently I'm at something like 4.5/28.5m for torva gloves. Right now though I'm concentrating on getting the zamorak warpriest outfit finished. I just need 10.25k renown. I figure I'll go at it for the next few days and get it out of the way.

Well damn... Good fight prismatic lamp hoarding. Super September nixed that with the soul wars challenge. Basically 60k+ wasted on slayer and construction. If there is more of this crap coming later this month I'm definitely saving the september troll invasion for the very last day. "Nex and ss" fc has torva gloves at 28-29m. I might start back up with QBD to buy them around 25-27m. I want to get 90 divination first though. 253k from 88... Blah!

I'm pretty sure the Mahjarratt questline ended with ROTM. I mean they could add mahjarrat to other quests, or start a new questline with them in the 6th age but I don't think they intended any others for that quest line because the whole point was for it to culminate in the ritual. The 'official' questline has ended. But I find the official tags and arc titles/groupings to be silly. In any case, it is quite clear that the Mahjarrat are far from done in Runescape. They are still major actors with their presence in various areas pursuing various schemes and interests. Their story is still continuous. The conflict between the Zarosian faction and Zamorakian faction is still quite unfinished. Sliske has only started his schemes. Azzanadra & Co. are still awaiting for Zaros. I don't see how it is done in any sense of the word. Ok, fair enough, I was thinking you meant a direct sequel and not just more from the characters. There are just so many questlines and characters that I'm looking forward to that I'm not narrowing it down to any specifics. The ones they do have coming sound great. Pretty sure the short one they mentioned is the Armadyl one involving citadels. The world gate one sounds awesome. Missing Presumed death has great potential. I am still hoping they give us the Dungeoneering finale involving bilrach's death and zamorak's return. I think for all its flaws, the story direction the game is heading has a lot of potential. I am worried though that having too much player choice may water it down some, but we'll see. Well, on this topic, I ocne again disagree with Jagex's labels. I would regard anything to do with Sliske to be a sequel/prequel to TWW, as it would explain the events of TWW or continue from them. The events happening are directly a consequence of the things that happened in TWW so I regard it as a sequel. As for interesting storylines, the Zarosian Mahjarrat, Sliske, Dragonkin, are the ones that I am interested in by far. No other storyline (and I am a quester at heart) comes even remotely close as far as my interest is concerned. Even the rumored 200th Elf quest dealing with Seren which has a lot of people excited does little for me when compared with the Mahjarrat. The Mahjarrat's development, characterization, lore, history is just superb. I am positively enthralled with them. As for player-choice, the way they have implemented seems to have been rather limited. It doesn't approach other games, not even close. And perhaps it shouldn't. It's nothing to worry about. Jagex has a tendency to undershoot, things are never as awesome as they sound (kind of like concept art), and sometimes that's a good thing. So you don't have to worry about that. When Jagex says player choice, they mean you make a few decisions, maybe align with one God/faction or another, but eventually the outcome ends up being the same. That's all they mean. And that's probably a good thing. It would take a crazy amount of hours and effort to craft separate storyline paths. Interesting take on it. The way I view it however, TWW was a culmination of most of the quest lines from the 5th age. A lot of stuff lead up to it getting to that point. In the same manner anything involving the major gods on runescape is basically a sequel, it shows the results and the aftermath of it. A quest about a God's return, or what they're doing now is directly related to Guthix's death because without it then that couldn't have happened. I look at basically the entire 6th age as a sequel to TWW (except some of the minor stuff like bringing home the bacon). That is, until the Pork Goddess Porconella arrives and lays siege to Falador for Eli's murder of her people. And then pigs become sentient and take over the world, and the player character is forced to walk on all fours and respawn in the barn Pocinella god emissary is Napoleon.

Challenge done. Yep, easy... Some people bugged it so they could get in with no items and wear no team cape.

Obvious hint for completionists are to complete floors 1-60 on hard mode and get the new title. GO! ... Doesn't sound that hard really. Floors with max combat mobs, tons of barrel, ghost, flower rooms.... ugh. Get ready boys and girls.

I got several updates for you peeps! First, 87 divination: I should be able to get it down to roughly 300k to level before leaving for the gym and work. And lastly, I managed to finally nab torva boots after they broke from their stable price of 24.5m. I got from the "nex and ss" fc that the price dropped and was able to buy torva boots for 23.23m. I had to use up my port trade goods and loot my MTK coffers, but it was worth it. Sadly I am still in debt though... Maybe by the time I get torva gloves I'll break from divination and hit up the QBD for a few weeks to pay it off.

I started collecting before this was announced, so no, I could not have realized it. Now I'm just hoping that's one of the last challenges >.>. It would be cruel fate to get that challenge on Sunday or Monday.

Yeah definitely not the concern. Suffering from toxic shock syndrome might be a mug more realistic issue if he can't pass a bowl :s. Even then a short visit to the doctor or more specifically a proctologist would clear it up... Literally Lmfao.

I have maxed penguin points, some 20-25 pendants + over 100 recharge gems. Originally it was supposed to be this week (according to one Reddit post), and I would have been able to do it this week, use up all my stored stuff. But now it's another 2 weeks, and I will probably get it easily before then. And you're quite right about not using them up early -- that would be stupid. I was hoping to use mine in the late 80's. I would wait for the production skill. I just feel that something so mellow isn't deemed worthy of bonus xp stuff. I mean would you do that for wood cutting? I certainly wouldn't. Keeping in mine we are all different me our values just the same. I would rather get to 90+ and take my merry time to 99. I also plan on working on gathering a nice chunk of energy for the second skill when i hit 90. Maybe not a lot because I feel it might not be as influential of a resource as some might feel.

Most jmods made murmurings about 4 weeks, so i wouldnt expect any change for another fortnight. It's a stupid decision whatever the case may be. It only inadvertently punished maxed players who have pendants saved up. We don't have any other skills to train and we will get 99 way before then. Just silly. I agree, but just do the smart thing: Have all your bxp stuff saved up, maxed and ready. Honestly saving the pendants for the production skill might be better anyways. By the time that's released you should have even more. Not to mention you'll also know what it requires so you could probably spend time either grinding cash to buy what's needed. Then on the four week mark use all your pendants and such on it with a fully prepped bank. Ideally you would train it a bit before then. You would just be idiotic to train it from the start using pendants and such. Maybe get it up to 60-70?

Why? They clearly stated it would be at least 4 weeks until that happens. It was stated two weeks by a reliable source actually. But that wasn't that official source though. Even the "four weeks" for mod Michelle's twitter isn't completely solid.

Yep, they really flubbed on this one. By that I mean defacing the value of what loyalty means to the company. I give you good credit and faith. I can keep doing so, but shoot yourself in the foot as often as you want. Eventually people like me won't be around.
