Which is good enough to say they probably know how they want the DG finale to go down... its a matter of finding an appropriate medium to convey it. Do they want players to play it out through through another persons eyes such as Bilrach, Moia, Zamorak or even someone else who is there? This would be most appropriate for sagas. Do they want to us to go down and see the remnants ourselves in person and piece together the clues via memory shard like situation in BOD. This would be ideal because we could escort the man used to record the sagas down there for his help. In the end it would be cool if we found a way release him from his curse and "revisit" the sagas via a magical journal of exploits in dungeoneering left to Marmaros.

Birthright of the Dwarves- 2nd October 2013
Apart from they didn't. In terms of items that exist in other metals we still lack:Dragon shortswords Dragon hastae Dragon knives Dragon javelins Dragon brutal arrows And Dragon Battlestaff is an entire new invention that does not exist in any other metal. Frankly I wouldn't expect to see dragon hastae or brutal arrows. Both are racial variants to other types of gear (hastae = spear, brutal arrow = broad arrow?) I would almost see the dragon battlestaff as an emphasis of the dragon metals magical potential. It also notes on the potential of its use to more than being an actual metal used for its durable strength.

I'll give you this one. The vague quest scripting, unexplored plot points, buggy doors, largely empty boss instance. Yes, this one rare time I am agreeing with you on the shortcomings of jagex. This quest deserved more work... Way more work,

Yep, gilded mine yesterday while on my toolbelt and then used it to make imcando. Thanks I might go for it just for the hell of it.

I am actually missing the guilded pickaxe, but I have a dragon pickaxe on my belt. Just for myself and everyone else who is in my boat: Can we get our dragon pickaxe guilded while it is on the belt?

Part of me is thankful that we don't need to do the whole "create an imcando pickaxe" for comp or trim.

A.) That isn't what the lunar festival is in the slightest.B.) Releasing non-cosmetic powerful rewards would not be good for the game. Ok, well I'm not aiming to be correct in terms of what the event will "reward", but to have a certain concept displayed. That concept is having a cyclical holiday event based on in-game lore. The rewards can remain cosmetic as typical runescape holiday rewards often are. But it's the meaning that's re-explored year after year in these holidays.

The sirenic actually holds a striking resemblance to obsidian. The nice touch is obviously the cape or whatever that is... I'm assuming a cape to show a bit of 'flare' to the set. Well at easter they did specifically explain in the news post they wanted to move away from real world holidays in favour of Gielinor themed holidays. Hence easter became Guthix Rememberance and will remain as such. I guess Halloween will hence forth be 'Saradomin won holiday' Anyone who expected an actual Halloween themed event was just setting themselves up for disappointment, the same can be said of Xmas. Lmao beat you :P But yeah we need some iconic holiday events that will repeat yearly. I mean I think there is some wiggle room to make the guthix tribute a yearly event. Maybe making the tribute more grand and maybe a small festival that gathers in remembrance for guthix protecting the world and helping the lesser races. That would be cool to see a ceremonial guthixian druid tents, torches and strewn about in the festival area. Players could do skilling and PVM to get tribute pieces for the festival or something. This actually sounds like an excellent idea. I am sure of that the players would love something like this, as long as the rewards are good as well...Maybe each year there could be some new kind of conflict? Between the gods one year, between different races, and then you can of course add in plenty of humour and puzzles and combat as usual. Well the lunar festival in WoW involves collecting cards to create decks than in turn can be turned in. I was thinking along those lines of maybe collecting relics for certain gods. Once you collect a set of relics you could mysteriously gain an aura for certain game play styles. I would guess something like that would be interesting for the play base, keep lore in touch and not disturb player loyalty to factions as long as they name the auras appropriately.

For all we know they unplugged the servers to air-dust the insides.which is a good reason to prevent them from catching fire from things Like vorago Frankly, that joke is getting old.

Kind of funny last night I"m 1700 xp from 93 divination and I got forcelogged for the maintenance update. 39k luminous energy to go then I think I'm going to head back to radiants and finish them out. It seems I'm always changing my mind... When I remax I'm going to go back to collecting my own numbers in energy and possibly buying anything that seems not worth my time (probably level 1-50). Hell I might even just QBD and buy everything. At roughly 3.5m an hour and energy at the highest tiers averaging 250 per I could buy 14k energy an hour. Thats probably way faster than collecting by myself.

Ok, this is no stab directly at you, but at the thoughts on the gielenor based events. Post-guthix death jagex stated that they wanted to move away from the real world themed events. You can search for the news post on the web site if you want to... Its there somewhere. They want to do more game-themed events involving the world of gielenor. The first one was the creation of the tribute stone. Other games have more cyclical events like WoW's traveling festival. I was personally hoping that jagex would do something cyclical like WoW, but I think they are opting for one-off events under the premise of "I've been there and done that" completionist motive. So far we've had: Tribute stone creation Rebuilding lumbridge We really need a cool cyclical holiday event. The one-offs are nice and in my opinion they feel more like mini-world events.

Sirenic will be degradable. I mean it just wouldn't make sense with seismic being degradable and then having the same tier craftable gear not being degradable. The idea of seismic was to give serious PVMers a set to play with when PVMing. I believe the same would be applied with another same tier set for another triangle point. The only concern is that the legios and vorago might be considered on par skillwise with jagex, but not the player base. Legios are fairly click and maneuverable intensive with not so high gear requirements. While vorago requires a decent sized team, highest gear requirements, and a moderate intensity but then again vorago wasn't designed for 5-10 man teams and was touted about as a good lootshare/mass boss (despite it not actually being one).

Super September is Coming!
Actually crystal trees do exist in game. You can find them when doing ME2. Remember the little light puzzle you had to do by carving holes in them? And I'm betting "find the golden gnome" will be finding a gnome painted gold that wanders the gnome stronghold.

Yeah fabricating examples is a no-no. That will break people's assurance that you are doing the right thing for the consumer.

Future Update Discussions
I'm pretty excited for the new trees. We foresaw a future update on he super september task list leak for crystal trees. I think the new trees we will be seeing might be called crystal trees. Keeping things rooted in lore maybe they are flora infused with crystallized guthixian energy which makes them much more hardier and resilient. From the logs we might be able to get an exponentially larger bonfire buff or create better bows and arrows. Imagine if these trees were like a distraction and diversion and randomly spawned by other trees of its type (e.g. crystallized magic tree south of seers).

Also I wanted to finally post this: I finished all my overrides for zamorak. I"m not really concerned with the icyenic stuff and I think they stopped dropping the sara items too. And this is the whole reason I wanted the infernal warhammer: Should be logging out in the morning with under 400k to 93 divination. I have monday, tuesday and thursday off so I should flash through 94 and 95 with that time and using the BXP I have been saving. I really hope to hit 93 before bxp goes live. Then when it does I'm going to blow through my lucky clover necklaces, DK lamps, dung lamps, troll invasion books, one of each pendant and clear all of the other bxp D&Ds. Not in that particular order though.

The first numbers I posted were my calculations for energy used to go from one tier to the next only turning in normal memories WITH energy. The energy used is what I calculated used. The numbers I am using now are what I thought were "div shop" calculations for energy used based on player input or some other means. Considering they deal with a wider sample base and inquiring community they might be onto something I'm not. What I found interesting just after reading your post is that their numbers are roughly 1/3 mine meaning they might have meant energy conversions and not actual energy as a resource. Honestly, as a disclaimer, no one knows how energy will be incorporated into skill 2. We could make a fairly good educated guess in saying that it might be something like summoning and shards used. Because of the shear effort needed to collect for what I believe skill 2 needed I fell back on "div shop" numbers. Right now if I stopped collecting at 1/# my numbers I would still have a fairly good head start and wouldn't worry about those breaking bank and flooding "div shop." If you want to go by my numbers that is fine and I may go back to collect on those numbers at a later date. Thinking back on those numbers and energy used I feel that they might be fairly accurate because the concept behind the whole gatherer and production relation was leveling both fairly alongside each other.

25-September-2013 - Runescape Bonds
There is a fairly good cycle going on with bonds: - Rich guy gets to buy bonds with real life currency and buy gold in game via bond distribution. - Poor guy gets to buy bonds with gold from the rich guy to continue membership using some dedicated play time for renewing membership. Rich guy = Gold buyer Poor guy = gold seller The only thing that isn't barring the success for gold farmers are the efforts that prevent bots from running. And even that is quite a feat for bot developers to overcome. The players will soon lower the $/gp cost using bonds and things will start getting rough for gold sellers.
