I guess an 83m torva plate split 7 ways might make a slightly odd number. Would jagex trunkate it or let one or two players catch a slightly larger chunk? That might not seem to be a big issue really as 83m/120 is roughly 700k per shard. On the other hand I think seismic wand is like 2.3b right? So its shards should retain 120th of its value. With a 7 man team that's roughly 21.7m per shard. That means each player will get 368.9m and that lucky oddball guy will get 390.6m. Frankly all in all its an amazing coinshare update. We WILL be seeing players whine if they aren't the 'lucky' player to get the extra shard or if the system automatically trunkates things. The next question would be if jagex has a mechanic that automatically puts that odd shard or so in the GE to sell and dristribute the cash via the old coinshare method.

Has anyone considered this shard update a perfect launching pad for making repairable gear via shards. They could easily make GWD degradable and require purchasing shards to repair the same gear.

I can't wait to collect shards from vorago to make my own siesmic wand. Honestly this is the way to go. Force selling items to the GE is bad for economics anyways.

I decided to stop buying energy to get virtus wand and book for nex. This is what I have banked so far for energy: I went and our 4th kill was a torva glove split of 3.4m. Then in between kill antics ensued... Then the last kill of the night... Currently I am 30/160m for virtus wand.

Fairly sure it will be non-degradable armour said in the live stream It follows the same mechanic as sereinic and tectonic. I believe the shields however do not degrade to dust. Yeah in the BTS it was stated the shields will be like t90 chaotic shields. The armour is speculated to still degrade to dust.

What about ahrim and karils? Do you go out in SS or virtus or t75 hybrid with drygores?

I will probably be running regular barrows runs to get totems and sell those initially. I still have 30 amulets to use so I am going to have some fun with this. I wonder what's the best setup for barrows? I'm wondering if bloodfire barrage would bw better suited over fire surge. I ended up selling a death lotus hood for 2m flat. Thank you who ever gave me 1.5x the median price! I'm kind of stoked for the barrows brothers this week. I'm wondering if we might see a mondsy update for this if so I might stay up for it.

Died at a bad QBD run tonight and it finally got me thinking about durability hits... I'm really feeling the burn of dying and suffering the 20% durability hit. I instinctively protected virtus top, bottom and comp cape. That's roughly a 400k hit from chaotic staff alone. Plus 80k from the mask, gloves and boots. Thinking about how I should have gone about this if I saved my chaotic staff, comp cape robe top that would have only made it a 180k gp hit. Part of me is acting like a child who wants to yell at mommy that its not fair. But realistically its necessary for the economy. Now we just need everything at least from dragon and up to take durability hits.

Oh jagex troll... I can't wait to try this.

What's the cost of asc xbows now?

That is exactly correct and has already been said.It would be good to assume that the shields would either require a gp cost to repair or the use of malevolent energy to repair.
