I was looking at prices of some dragonhides and came up with these results. Green dragonhide - 1571 +20 = 179gp Green d-leather - 1770 Blue dragonhide - 1950 +20 = 160gp Blue d-leather - 2130 Red dragonhide - 3146 +20 = 57gp Red d-leather - 3223 Black dragonhide - 2791 +20 = 282gp Black d-leather - 3093 The first two numbers are current selling prices, the +20 is the tanning cost, and the last number is profit per hide. I was just wondering how many I can tan per hour (doing black) if I use terrorbird plus scrolls?

nats=44 rc? i never liked runecrafting anyway. i have done dragonhide tanning in enormous amounts at a time, buying up 10mil worth of hides and tanning the hell out of it and making enormous profits. a lot of other things went down like ALL of the gs's what were the major updates i missed? what is the best armor/weapon? from what i knew back then, gs's were the top weapon and the gs armor was the top armor (maybe torags topped bandos). Oops, sorry, i thought it said 43... :oops: The best weapons now are godswords, while armor hasn't really changed. Godswords can come in at around 30mil a piece, depending on which one you get. Unfortunately, your combat stats would require a lot of effort and money, i don't think you could tackle getting godswords at your level. If you don't like runecrafting, then you probably want to go back to tanning dragonhides, though you should start off acquireing the hides yourself. 3k profit> 1k profit. Did you read any of his posts at all. Anyway, I guess it's back to tanning hides for you, or try some team Bandos or KBD. :

Buying harpoons at Pictoris and selling on exchange is around 500k/hour and that has a smaller investment cost.

I would not be so negative about your description, I was a member of A C I D Y's chat for a while (before I started to solo merchant) and people never really dumped too early. Our only problem was that it is more public and yes, more merchanting-newbies joined it. And for merchanting, what pingium said is correct, except it is more around the region of 2.3-2.8M, furies are pretty stable now though. Good item to start with. :

Full chicken outfit is awesome by itself, I wear it for most things (Like TT mages. :wall:) Stick with it.

I think i'm unlucky. I put my offer in for all the new items (apart from plate, because it fails) within minutes of release. Nothing yet..

I used 5k cannonballs there for a test (cost 980k), and I price checked my items and cash (valuables are rune kites, granite shield, ranarrs, ranarr seeds, rune warhammer alchs) finding out I had make 300k profit. Minus the cost of the potions I had just profited.

Ice Trolls at Jazitzo (sp?) are good exp and break even/profit in cost. Although you need a few prayer potions and food. Setup Guthix Mitre Guthiz Crozier Bandos Boots Fremennik Round Shield (A must) Whip Rune Defender Bandos Boots Ring of Wealth Proselyte Body Proselyte Legs That got me around +140 defence and +31 prayer bonus. Inventory cannon, cannonballs, 3 prayer potions, 6 blank spaces, Pineapple Pizza Bank is only about 10 seconds away, so you can resupply without having to pick up the cannon.

Not many people will tell you profitable things to alch. Although I discovered one that I will share: Buy dragon battle axes for minimum and alch. 20-80gp profit per.

I would suggest you spent a little bit more time training to get all stats 70+ (for whip, barrow armour etc.) Also Eddie, my sig is better than yours.

It speeds up trips dramatically - Could have tried buying one, not succeded, and is trying to see how long it takes to get one.

You could also go to Ice Trolls on Jatinzo (sp), you will need some food and prayer potions. But you break even/profit there.

Mylez, it's hard to buy from exchange, people can over 200k over trade.
