Two of the main reasons in my book! The lore and stories are fascinating; even the novels that came out, if you guys ever get a chance to read em. And now with the game progressing more heavily into the grander story telling aspects of the game, it's got me motivated to play much more regularly and improve all skills so I can get the full benefits of the quests. Along with that, the emphasis into the soundtracks has me pretty excited - some of the more recent compositions (Memories of Guthix, Wending Through The Willows, Citharede (total spelling error) Reqiuem), are fantastic!

I doubt it would be Sliske; he doesn't seem like the flashy, grand entrance kind of guy - so having a massive portal for him to come back through, seems ill fiting. Unless, he's bringing with him a massive army or something (but again, he likes to do his own thing and work in the shadows).

Sorry to kinda bring it back to the OP, but are Chaotic Mauls no longer recommended then? If so, why the change? (Aside from the inclusion of Drygores).

Yea, I guess that sacrifice needs to be made at this point... Hm, could have sworn when I tried with the Mage's book yesterday, the options didn't appear when I selected autocast. Guess I was wrong, as I get a dialogue box asking for it now. Heh, thanks Galco, Quyneax.

Hey all, the following topic stems from the below quote taken from the recent updates: 1) Trouble is, I don't see any option to select an off-hand weapon cast. Clicking Auto-cast only keeps saying "main-hand spell set to..." What am I missing here? 2) On a related note, what's the best off-hand mage weapon? Ankhs went from being nerfed to cosmetic, as is the Mage's Book, which provide no bonuses. 3) So I'm assuming accuracy for an off-hand, different style to your primary, combo, will still be severely affected by the armour you wear? So, aside from the hybrid armours you get from mini-games, what other hybrid armour is there, to help with the combo styles? Cheers, and thanks in advance.

Don't know about Rock Crush, but the Log Splitting sells on the G.E for 600k each - I'd assume Rock Crush is around there too.

My FM is ~81, and like Bojangles, I have yet to see my HC explode at all, and I've used it for thousands of shots. (Though I haven't used it in a while, so I don't know if anything's changed).

You know what the worst thing now is? What if the quest fails to live up to all this hype that's being generated at this point... That's when people are going to start raging. While I am hella excited for this quest, (and severely disappointed at the delay), I'm going to keep a reserve of caution, just in case. It is interesting to see this dyanmic happening on a relatively small community such as RuneScape though, haha. You mostly see people rage against delays for things like PC / console games.

Not to mention it should hopefully allow RuneScape on mobile platforms! Well, iPhone's specifically since Android can run Java/Flash anyway.

Not proof. G.E. price for Studded leather boots was increasing when they weren't even obtainable yet, for example. Unless Jagex is manually tinkering prices or they are linked to something else the price will not change if an item is not in circulation because the prices alter themselves based on GE transactions and trades. I mean where is YOUR proof that the item is not obtainable? The GE price changing is pretty decent proof the item IS in circulation, even if not 100% perfect due to Jagex tinkering and linked items Except the prices for Shark soup keep increasing even though we know for sure they aren't obtainable, and the prices of Studded leather boots (amongst others) kept increasing back when they were still unobtainable. It's because people keep putting offers in increasing increments, thereby raising its value.

Ha, yes! "Broad Leaf Arrows" to be exact. *Looks it up furthur* Yea, there we go. Only 15xp each, but they do go by quick, and they're all stackable.

It'll come quicker than you think - once you start having the crew and go furthur into the Bowl, you'll easily get the 320 - 600 Jade missions, at high success. Add in the merchants, and the Jade rolls in. Just got my 4th ship yesterday, and I'm about 56% in.

It's a huge money sink, but I believe making broad bolts is one of the fastest - you have to create a ton of them, but they go by extremely quickly. Only problem is, they're untradeable once made...so like I said, huge money sink.

I hink it's more to do with the enchantments of the Gods and what not. The RIver Salve is blessed after all and Burgh De Rott may be too. Canifis after all, started out as a Saradomist outpost, before it fell to Drakan. If not though...then it's just one of those things, haha. Like in video games, how a giant hole in the wall can't be walked through >_<

So another vyre based quest is coming sooner than later? I know they are completely separate things, but in the RS book, "Return to Canifis" - the Vyrewatch are able to do so. I forget how exactly, but the set up is already there :D

Still miss the teal, but that does look rather cool! What's the yellow SIMS like diamond between the feet though? =/ And is that you in the picture? If so, what are the set effects of the armour?
