Waterfiends and Black Demons are now only weak to Bolt ammo, since the EoC changes. Plus, there was a major defense buff (and consequent rebalance), to many monsters - which included the Waterfiends, so I don't know how much their defensive capability has risen.

As the title suggests, the elite Desert Task (and PoP Lacquer goods!), have pushed Thieving to be the next skill I'm focusing on. 1) So, is Pyramid Plunder still the best? And taken from the Tip It Guide, is the following still accurate: "As your thieving level increases, the best technique is to search for snakes, then loot the urns in the last two rooms you can access. Opening the sarcophagus will slow you down during your run and is not recommended when training." 2) And finally, any idea on estimated time to complete 14 levels? Thanks in advance!

Alternatively, you can search through the quick chat feature for "bosses" and it will tell you what you're currently at (similar to how you check your penguin points).

I'll be there! Clarification though, on the countdown timer, it says US Pacific: 1pm. But in the write up above it, 12am is written instead (and acutally, some of hte other times are a bit off too). Should we assume the timer is the correct version?

You found people selling the main-hand one? I am having a hard time believing that; may you link me to the relevant thread(s)? I'm interested in obtaining one of these too. Should have clarified that that was what people were buying them for. You are correct in that there aren't any threads actually selling the main hand. My apologies. So I guess it's still not in the game...

There are people on the forums selling them, but prices aren't really consistent. The most common price I saw was 5m. But then again, I saw a couple of 15m's, 20m's and then 4-6m's. (There was a random 32m, haha, but I doubt its worth anywhere near that). Incase you need it: just search for "pistol" on the threads. (Just checked again real quick. It seems that the main hand is usually around 15m - 20m, whereas the off-hand is ~5m).

Just throwing it out there, the GE already has the PoP armor priced at 450m for entire sets - and that's Jagex's idea of what it should cost. So...yea. :S

I suppose they could spin off a tale something along the lines of the symbiotic thing in Spiderman (that turns him into Venom). The chaotics simply latch on to anything and enhance the chaos in them. (Perfectly missed opportunity for an awesome quest to go along with this update, to be honest...)

Ice barrage him! Correct me if I'm wrong, but from what I can remember, he has no weakness...so I believe that's what I did. At the start, attack him as normal, then slash the Ranger that spawns. After that, lure the Boss to a corner, and just barrage away. Deflect melee should be enough, so just keep your prayer up and avoid the floors when needed. At that distance, I don't think I ever had to worry about him getting to close to heal because of the continous stun from the Barrage. When using abilities, even though Magic sneaks in a normal spell every now and then, just allow for a spell attack too, after about 3 abilities in a row (in other words - spam 3 abilities, allow a normal hit, and repeat).

Isn't it more along the lines that each armour has its own soak damage, which stacks up with each piece and then just the helms provide the damage boosts?

I do just fine, with no food or prayer till Jad, with the Obby Armor / Master Wand / Crystal Shield - Ice blitz / barrage. For the rangers, they're weak to slash, so I just switch helms and carry a vine whip. Control your adrenaline well, and stock up on the smaller melees at the end of each round when you can, and then ulti the most annoying monster in the wave first (always range if you can). Metamorphosis (along with Rejuvenate) is your friend in the entire Cave - especially on Jad =) If you don't have the Obby armour, no worries - my very first post-EoC (and very first Jad kill coincidentally, haha), was with full Gano and Staff of Light + Water Surge. With your stats, you should be just fine! Good Luck! If you use the right style, it shouldn't matter too much - they're incredibly weak now, even at my stats (and the OP has higher). NOTE: At the Jad wave, when the healers come - it is no longer enough to simply have them aggro you - you *need* to lure them some feet away from Jad too, otherwise they passive heal him. TIP#1: About Rejuvenate, once the main targets are down (the mage / rangers), build up adrenaline and heal, while ignoring the meleers. They do not do much damage to you, so you should be fine. The big meleers are great too, because they'll heal themselves, meaning you can build up adrenaline indefinitely and heal as much as needed. TIP#2: Have a separate Ability bar for Jad - with Mage / Range Deflect / Pray on it - makes switching when needed, so much easier and less chance of messing it up. The rest of the abilities on that bar, should just be the basics, then Asphyxiate, and Metamorphosis and some defensives if needed, because of the healers. Sorry I don't know the names / levels to match, haha. Ask away if anything isn't clear.

After that, you'll either need to kill 40 Zaros minions, or just buy the Ceremonial Robes (which is something like 3m now, I think). As for what to wear at Nex herself...nothing really =D Any piece of Torva or Pernix or Virtus or the Zaryte Bow. As for individual Gods minions, a piece of their corresponding race. (Bandos boots, the god arrows etc.)

Same here. I went with absolutely no armor or anything, haha. Just spammed here while she was activating the last minion or whatever you call it, so that when she becomes attackable, it was an instakill - so to speak. So unless something was changed, or glitched, you should be fine. Try once without getting her tagged, and see if it works. If heaven forbid, it doesn't. Tele out, and get some gear =) Good Luck!

Not sure you guys will be ready for this... [hide][/hide] Hehe :D And yes, that is me in there - me and a friend went around campus every Friday for about 5 weeks, to cheer people up. It was pretty successful too! We even found ourselves randomly on Instagram like a month later, lol. [hide][/hide]

No such thing as overkill in this game :D And besides, sooner or later there's going to be something to face that requires your current "overkill" equipment - so bottom line, keep the Gano (recharging it costs about the same as Barrows at any rate -ok apparently not lol)! The Staff of Light is a very good option as well The Crystal Bow too, is quite good after the EoC, and a very good option for arrows, apart from the Zaryte Bow. Royal CBow or the Handcannon is a good option for Bolt styles too. As for void, use it when you don't necessarily need the armor boosts and can get by with a healing familiar, if you have access, or the healing abilities. Thus far though, I have not used Void Mage at all.

Your captains log shows you how many story missions you've done, and there's only a certain amount per adventurer (think its 5 per?). So you can work it out from there.

The one that I've used, and is best I guess, is "Fast SC" - they operate on W99 Once in the game, they'll tell you the main chat and anti team chat is, to start the game. Once in the game, you'll need to switch back to Fast SC, for in game calls of resources and other info.

Near the end, Mvr1998 and I decided to stay and duo for a bit...and that was a wise decision: =D
