  1. not new, but still appreciated food's pretty cheap anyway so just as long as you keep feeding your tanks it'll be fine btw anybody try a kalphite task on them yet
  2. btw, i think the teal tetsu helm is a limited edition avatar now, lol (i think they should put it back in with color options, though)
  3. well, now nobody can claim it's a waste of time
  4. on the other hand, you get the jade merchant, who can boost certain double trade good missions better than the older ones, since the extra 5% pushes the rounding over the threshold
  5. yeah, they're down to like 100m now and still falling gold rush was fun while it lasted anybody feel like 60 smithing is a bit low req these days?
  6. gano was hotpatched, it's significantly better than anything other than virtus/seasinger now
  7. yep, noscript should stop most badness by default, although figuring out which things to filter and which to keep is sort of a crapshoot without a cheatsheet
  8. I think the bonuses aren't necessarily for the type of crew, but the bonus stats that are randomly given when the crew is hired.
  9. Firefox is now just blocking every instance of Java by default. They better fix this damn thing soon....
  10. it gets better if you have a double adventurer bonus since that pumps the number higher you may also consider building those trade mission boosting totems
  11. also, we're not sure how the scaling readjust will work, and if the difference is larger, it would lend more value the other thing that will accelerate trade good missions is having a lot of trade good totems, and ending the adventurer storylines, which both grants a pile of goods, and access to larger rewards from future missions, including the end of the two main story arcs
  12. On an unrelated note this was totally worth blowing my resources on
  13. I'm actually kind of disappointed that they stopped doing this sort of thing after that game bar. I'm kind of disappointed that they stopped supporting the game bar for stuff that was added afterwards, especially ports, which could do with a status indicator. I think the clock's also broken.
  14. I would think Tough as Nails would only factor into the chances of the golem dying normally, and the Staunch would mean that it automatically dies if another crew member fails their saving throw.
  15. it was inevitable after they released the complete regional pokedex 3d app with every pokemon modeled and rigged for movement you don't waste that kind of development time on a cheap app
  16. that was the main issue with suddenly deciding that runecrafting was the skill to make magic gear without any system support other than a patch job that was only done because a huge part of the playerbase had to beat it into jagex that they wanted it, which was then later nerfed because somehow a zero profit activity was too good thinking back on that just makes me more paranoid
  17. forget even fighting TDs, i kind of doubt level 60s have the stats needed to start wgs QBD drops cbow parts so i'm pretty sure the kite is meant to be another cosmetic item, not that i agree with it being misused that way but there it is miths are actually hilariously easy now if the bot gangs are any indication i still think we shouldn't be cannibalizing our lower tiers of equipment for the higher end, and "chaoticing" other equipment would make it more difficult for lower levels to afford the equipment types that they need to function at full capacity, especially since many midlevel methods of earning money have been steadily dropping while other equipment prices have risen drastically
  18. I don't even know if it's their own views anymore. I'm starting to think that they just grab whatever they can find, decide to agree on something based on how it sounds, and present it as their own views.
  19. My theory is that it's building up to the point where Hubbub realizes that Shuma is trying to get revenge on Quin for tricking it into fighting Hubbub, and ends up becoming the best whaler/whale tag team since Japan made those robotic hunting whales. Think about it, what would be the best way to fight a lot of mind controlled sea creatures? A pissed off whaler riding a pissed off whale.
  20. Why would they rescale the armor and not the weapons? Are they really that crazy? It'd get to the point where level 90 weapons wouldn't be able to make a dent in level 90 armor.
  21. offtopic: i've theorized that zaro's philosophy was being a huge, self centered jerk to as many people as possible a la ayn rand, based on all of his followers as for saradomin, i'm pretty sure the HAM storyline is super old, and when you fight that racist jerk on the train tracks, saradomin totally lets him pray for protection despite taking his beliefs too far, so that's not exactly a huge revelation that he doesn't play by the book. god of "wisdom" after all. anyway, i'd like to see how the whaler's story culminates when he figures out the reason why shuma is rushing to the last region.
  22. first off, we don't know how drastic the rescaling will be secondly, the weapons are going to be level 90, while the maul is level 80 thirdly, if they start rebalancing the abilities to work more with dual wielding as part of the changes to "recognize player input", this won't stay true
  23. Hell, I'm set. I don't even need Nex because I put in all of the time and gold for skilling levels and will just slowly assemble my own PoP armor by hand, and even then, I already own all of the sets I need right now. However, I don't think there's a lot of people in that position. Even the QBD, a satisfactory moneymaker that almost nobody can touch, pretty much requires superantifire potions in order to not become a big time eating hassle. And all of this stuff about making things much harder and raising the high levels even higher and forcing people who just want dragon claws to compete with people who are in the position to pay for chaotic claws does not seem like it would be a good idea after all this groundwork we set up trying to balance the midlevels for everybody. High levels should have their own stuff, and should not be meddling in the affairs of people who can't really fight back. Edit: this assumption was made on your assumptions. the circle continues.
  24. Nex is done solely in void RIGHT NOW with 1 virtus tanker. I wish people would stop thinking impending doom and use this week to try and do what they can. I'm not even talking about me, I'm talking about everybody after this one week who doesn't make it in time, and acting like they don't exist. Past events do not justify screwing over the present or the future. Also, they're going to buff all of the bosses specifically because of the example you are posting. Now, I understand that you are asking people to basically "deal with it". This is fine and has to be done anyway. However, what we are discussing right now is that Jagex is bonkers for very specific reasons. Is it useless in the face of our overseers which cannot be dissuaded from any course of action unless they themselves come up with the reason? Perhaps. The question is, are we still allowed to talk about it without people calling us petty names and coming up with reasons for our 'obvious inferiority'? You don't even seem interested in talking to anybody, and want to feel some sort of satisfaction by hurling "crymoar" from a pedestal.
  25. void got heavily nerfed in relative defensive value and prayers aren't 100% anymore. jagex is poised to make changes so that you won't be able to compete closely with the top. it's not the same when you started.
