. . : : Bad RuneScape habits? :-\ : : . .
Legionwizard replied to Pinkbullet3's topic in General Discussion
I tend to stack everything up that has a good market potential, and when I need money I sell it all, sometimes for much too profitable prices. But heck, did regret selling those 580 addy arrows for 60k. -
It'd be nice it were that way :D :D . Less trouble and headaches for p mods.

Sometimes I believe doing the right thing at the right place might increase the chance on getting a particular event, so her's what I experienced during my Rs life: Genie: -during range training at cow meadow (crafting guild), at southern part, I had a sequence of about 16 genies (yes 16, or more :!: ). I trained with maple longbow (not that matters) and picked up all bones. I got the genies during burying the bones (I stacked up to fill up my inventory, so mostly 25 - 27 bones). I gained loads of prayer exp thanks to this. This all happened in a span of 5-6 days. Second time (restarting same process after quite some times), it didn't happen no more though. Leo the Gravedigger: During the collecting of limpwort roots at the Isle of Hobgoblins near crafting guild, I got me 2 Gravedigger events in a span of 2 days (wasn't even that much online). I also collected the bones to fill up my inventory (off course) , then after burying they appeared. Prison Pete: Got 2 of these in 1 night, very shortly after each other. It happened when I decided to power-fish. I went to Karamja to harpoon, didn't cook any fish and sold at shop. Then returned and started again, they appeared during fishing.

Unless your scottish \ . I don't like plate skirts anyway, they look like tin cans wrapped around your hips, you might as well nail some steel plates on your legs or something.

How long do you think Runscape will last?
Legionwizard replied to l0rd's topic in General Discussion
Runescape is a masterpiece based on the programming language Java (explains what some people would call bad graphics). This game is more then just some game, it's very inspiring to all game developer's. Hell, it wouldn't surprise me if the Jagex team would get an award for it some day. Anyway, this game will end, but when that happens, it will be very likely there is a Rs 3, and I don't doubt they've been researching for new methods and code to make the next game better. And when it happens, there will still be this runescape (just as there is RSC). You need to look further, someone said MMorpg survive 10 years or so. But you must reconsider the fact that Rs it bigger and more well-known than most other games, therefore has more potential of surviving and grow bigger, we have certainly not seen the last or even the most majestic move of Runescape. Last but not least, Runescape is a perfect alternative for many players, not wanting to put money in WoW or other games. The crowd will need to take very long to diminish in size (2 years is out of the question, it'll take literally 20 years or so). -
More F2P Bank Space! [BANKSPACE ACHIEVED!]
Legionwizard replied to Prankster_King's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
Well, I'm not very into new bank space for f2p, and I've been f2p forever... however! F2p should get more bank slots, if the amount of f2p collectable products start to go up, that woud seem as deadlogic to me as it should seem to you. Within time, if f2p get an add-on once in a while (e.g. bone staff of security stronghold, etc...), there should be a reminder for more some additional bank slots. -
Autoer/macroer discussion- please post here!
Legionwizard replied to jaklumen's topic in General Discussion
To Nerdzo: -attention will mainly go to low-levelled players (lvl3, ...) -police guy will first pay attention and wait a bit -you might give the player some time to answer, with a certain deadline -only players that are doing a task will be investigated (or not, but then there should be a good reason, e.g. large mass of lvl 3's at yew trees or so) -no items will be taken away of the player Your argument is quite easy to counter if you have some imagination. -

Yup sort a like, you can go in a group maybe. I intend on getting me loads of beer and guarding the rune rocks in the Wildy, that and loads more. I can't do it with my main (else all the 90 lvl's start jumping me in Wildy :D ) To guru_123: add noob_guy_444 (abujabu2), he joined on Sal's forum. -

Autoer/macroer discussion- please post here!
Legionwizard replied to jaklumen's topic in General Discussion
Hmmm I'll try to apply. And actually, I find the idea of police not that weird, imagine: if the player doesn't talk, it would be suspicious, but it isn't enough, I agree on that. So, maybe if a "police guy" has the ability to "notify" the player (sort of the same as "follow" and "trade"), then the suspicious player gets this message (doesn't matter if public talk and private and trade options are disabled). Plus we'll add some pop-up screen. The only thing the suspect has to do is: -click some ok button? -type in a verification code? -answer a question like: type me the following: 12354 (autoers can't understand syntaxes). After that, the police guy makes his evalution based on the feedback he gets (which shouldn't take long, or if he doesn't receive, he could mark the player as autoer). If the decision is: autoer; then the the police guy could put him in jail for let's say 20 minutes or so. The player will find himself in a room (maybe public) and can't get out untill time is over. READ ON!!! -if the player wans't an autoer and finds himself in jail, he can appeal a message to the police guy who had put him there, and talk himself free (three lines of text that should sound convincing). If innocent, the player is transported back and gets a compensation (money, sapphs, ...) -a police guy cannot imprisone a player more than 1 time a day, and maybe also add some other limitations I know there might be critical points on this solution, please give them. -
These are the most promising: -sewing: always been in favour of more variety in clothes and maybe being able to give it some personal flair, in such case we might want to move cape colouring to sewing. -shipbuilding: if there was 1 major add-on to runescape, it would be sea-battles (but simplified :P ). However this is the hardest there is, and I don't expect to see it ever happen.

I love all emotes (recently acquired all zombie emotes :deformed: ), but emotes are also something you often do in group (dancing together and so on). So my idea is quite basic: Multiple-player interreaction emotes Concept: multiple players interreact to perform an emote How to... : same as trading system; 1 player invites another for an emote, the invitation is shown in the message box, and the other can accept or refuse, can be extended to more players perhaps. In order to reduce time a click on the invitation should allow instant acception. Examples: -Dancing together, being able to embrace arms and circle around hopping -A female player can have her hand kissed by a male player -Clapping hands game -... I leave the imagination to you Supporter List: Legionwizard Randomnameless
