The entire Smash series is pretty awesome, but I'd say Melee is the best. I also think SoulCalibur 2 is a pretty good fighter. The DBZ Budokai games were also pretty good. They required a lot of skill trying to pull off combos and moves etc. I also used to be a fan of Mortal Kombat, especially with the fatalities.
