no b/c there was still decent profit to be had...rune plate, legs, helm, dds, possible whip... then...i thought about quitting with torso...but i was still profiting... then with this helm...with cost of pots and sharks there's no way i'd profit...it was the last straw
-
only reason i play this game is for PvP...so i quit when this helm came out.. now i am back
-
well if people start using it...it'll happen...it's only been like a day or two anyway...obby shield and rune plate is next (not...won't happen)..oh well -.-
-
when you get 10-20 kills a day 50k makes a huge difference...
-
cause it was untradable b4...and now it's another item to get in the drop some people like solo pking and can only do so at dragons, lvl 22 dragons, and edge...so others would use that item and all you get is legs and dagger in drop
-
for real  i'm not so sure about barrows gloves though :\..but definitely torso and defender but if they made the defender tradeable it would get rocket-space boosted on prices and torso tradeable it would made more purposeless barbarian assault na...just make it so you gotta complete barbarian assault first...same thing with warrior guild OR..you can't trade it...you can only sell it back to the guy :-k master wands and infinity are tradable...difference? none...

for real  i'm not so sure about barrows gloves though :\..but definitely torso and defender

Well you were owned by the update. And by the way i disagree with you 100%, a huge percentage of people ONLY play RuneScape FOR the PvP. yep...like me \ and now they fixed it silly willy...the reason lvl 3 clues take place in the wild is because they are a high lvl clue...it makes the items more valuable...a risk is involved. same with green dragon hides...and even red hides. b4 red dragons were put in non wild their hides were worth 100% more (6-8k each to 3-4k each) pking is apart of the game...certain things are put in the wild for that reason

When you started, which skill was released first?
magekillr replied to Dazzuh's topic in General Discussion
thieving was released on the same date as fletching and herblore i believe? all 3 came with members :-k anyway...fishing was out when i started...so whatever came after that. when i started every quest but dragon slayer was here. (so no members quests yet) and the best item was addy battle and addy plate edit: carp..my memory is failing me for once...for some reason i just cannot remember which came first anymore... but fletching and herblore definitely came together...theiving may have come like a little bit after ugh...too long ago to remember...just put me down for the first members' skills -
yeah they say that a lot...just like with chinchompas in the Knowledge base it clearly said "these are triggered to do more damage than usual when around another range ammo" (meaning...put a rune arrow or bolt in your quiver) then they go and say later "oh it was just a bug"...

hi rs2 product...i don't use that term but when you just go and disrespect like that i will do the same to you. runescape was based purely on pking...and...well that's it. the whole map WAS the wild. why do you think there are guards in varrock and popular cities before the wild? they would intervene in your fight and not allow you to fight in public...that was their purpose. of course that seems silly now as they are so low of a level, but when i started if i saw a lvl 40 i was like "HOLY CRAP!!!" now...back on topic. this needs to be vamped..and i agree with some of the suggestions :D -

the duel arena is about luck...and it's like a casino..you only win big if you're really lucky..or abuse/get an advantage somehow otherwise you'll get cleaned and fair fights? wtf lol..this has nothing to do with "fair fights" -

exactly. some people (un-knowing people) believe that teleport block HELPED the wild. it is obvious either they have never stepped foot inside, or don't realize how much it really hurt...now you need a tber, a few barragers and meleers to stand a close chance at mb...let alone solo it. -
Why is rune miners pkers not that hated as RC pkers?
magekillr replied to Ghost-Knigth's topic in General Discussion
neither are pathetic.. i don't rc pk...but i don't care about people who do who cares? the things were put in the wild to make them more dangerous...and if rune ores wern't in the wild, the price would lower exponentially -

magekillr replied to magekillr's topic in General Discussion
why did you type your argument like that? i don't understand your point... jagex put the zammy mage in the wild to make runecrafting faster runes have a risk...why should more exp come with no risk?...same with dragon hides the clue is in the wild BECAUSE it is a lvl 3 clue and is made dangerous for a good reward...a possible good reward -

pures have been around since the rune 2h was made...thanks and that was MY post...i am veniv1div1ci neither is getting a fire cape, but people still player kill in that i believe pures were in runescape long before rune2h i meant widespread...and the idea of protecting your item in the wild while having little or no defense....THAT came with the rune 2h...praaaaaaaaay (crunch killa) was the one who told me to do it. sure pkers were made b4 this (players who didn't level magic)...but to my knowledge "prayer beasts" were not because you could wear rune in 1 defense. i nhad a character that was 30 att 12 def 50 str wear ful rune, rune long, and mith kite. and i am not risking sending them a site link to get unfairly banned -

and you needed to quote my whole post to say that? i don't care what else this game has to offer...everything else blows. i play rs to pk cause it's unique to any other game -

also, if any1 tells me that "pking is for fun, not for loot", that is not totally true. i risk my items, use my supplies, and i intend to get some reward. jagex isn't even letting the wilderness live up to the definition that they gave it -

magekillr replied to magekillr's topic in General Discussion
i don't even care if the things are not pkable (lootable, tradable...w/e) all i care about is to make them disappear like barrows gloves when you die as that will make people bring regular items back into the wild
