  1. I am sure it is correct as it is an average of the ores I get per hour. That being said however, the differences between you and me are many and can account for such a significant decrease. Time zone, for one, plays a big impact. Other factors such as time taken to block off Dark Beasts, etc. also play a big role. However, if you would like to correct my figure, just do a few more tests at different times of the day and take an average.

  3. Ok, I'll add it in. Would you mind grabbing a picture of the safespot for me?
  4. I never really advocate the mining + superheat method because it isn't very efficient. Simply buying the ores to superheat, then powermining iron is a much better option. That being said, while there is a safespot from the Scorpions, wouldn't it be better to simply mine at Rimmington, where you never have to worry about any scorpions?
  5. May I propose a suggestion? For a next "tournament", how about a kind of modified round robin? Entrants play against whoever they like, but they must have a match against at least 1/2 of the total entrants. The Entrant with the best win/lose/draw percentage at the end of the designated period wins. I don't very much like elimination-style tournaments. So much pressure is placed into a single match that oftentimes the best results fail to be shown. I'm not making any excuses for my loss. It was a very well played match by Soma, who exploited a key weakness in my team-building and one in my judgment. I'm just saying that perhaps another system would be better and overall, more fun.
  6. Wow, they keep making these quests easier and easier.
  7. I believe there is a portal that can only be used once you finish Hunt for Surok.
  8. So you boosted to enter the Barbarian Agility Course, but you could not enter? Or did you successfully enter, but could not complete the clue?

http://forum.tip.it/topic/248409-mining-a-complete-guide/ Take a look, I'm sure it will be helpful.
  10. Alchemy or Superheat Item are the best options.
  11. You must realize that 55k points will take 2-4 hours. The time a Spirit tree at Brimhaven saves is a lot, but it's not enough to justify giving up 2-4 hours of time or 45k farming xp. No, until you get one from your Kingdom/woodcutting, just use Karamja gloves.
  12. You have everything understood correctly, and thanks for reading! On the contradictory part, I would compare them to Churches in modern day. God (if you do believe in God) allows you into his holy places (Churches, etc.), yet if you attempt to steal from him, it is a blatant crime. Likewise, Guthix allows you into his sacred places, provided you demonstrate your devotion (hence the tribute required), but scorns you if you attempt to steal from him. If you would like to look at it from a different way, think about it like this. Guthix is asleep, correct? So he has no way of telling his guardians to give you a "free pass". So while you can worship Guthix and therefore allows you access, the guardians do not know you are a Guthixian sympathizer, and therefore know no better than to attack.
  13. Looks great! I'm sure it is very useful for beginners at the garden. However, you should include the method of "1-clicking" the gardens for more advanced players. In case you are not familiar, it is possible to set up the elementals such that 1 click takes you directly to the center without harm. This is possible in summer garden, among others.
  14. Could always NPC contact.
  15. I think you're right. I don't want to brun myself out too early in. I really need the cash for 99 farming as well, which is gonna cost me in excess of 150M . Gotta rember that herbs cancel alot out of the cost though. They'll cut out maybe 20-30m of it, which is a lot, but isn't very much at all. You can switch to Concentrated Coal at 76 and Gold at 79 if you have a Void Ravenger.
  16. You can safespot every single deposit. How on earth do u safe spot the most southern coal in the north east area? and the ones in the middle of the room? First of all, depending on how you approach the rock, you can block off all the rangers. I've tried it and every single rock, there is a route you can take to prevent rangers from attacking you. From there, go to the longer side of the rock (the rock is 3x2 squares, go to the side with 3 squares) and stand in the middle. If any Protectors begin attacking you, run to the opposite side (but still in the middle of the 3 squares). If there is a Protector on both sides trying to attack you, run diagonally away from the rock for ~5 squares, then both Protectors will be lured to the same side of the rock, and you can run to the opposite side to block both of them off. Really isn't very hard with practice/observation.
  17. You can safespot every single deposit.
  18. Yes, to be exact it's 2/3 the xp of granite, or 1/2 the xp of granite if you extremely good at powermining. However, it is very relaxed and comes with ~200k profit, but that's for gold and it must be lower for coal. You can mine Conc. Coal at level 76 if you use a Void Ravanger familiar.

First, I would like to direct you to my AoW farming guide, which may prove to be helpful in your case. On what to plant, I suggest ignoring allotments and hops. I recommend planting poison ivies or whiteberry bushes, but don't bother with anything lower than that. For special patches, you want to have a cactus planted (you dont necessarily have to replant it, just harvest the spines from time to time), farm calquats, farm the Jade Vine, and you may choose to farm Bittercap Mushrooms by working them into your bush runs. For fruit trees, you want to look at their gp/xp ratios. Then decide which is acceptable to you. I remember Pineapple to be 4gp/xp, Papaya to be 7, and Palm to be 10, but these may have changed. You should, as a rule, use a fruit tree that has an equal or higher gp/xp ratio than the normal trees you are farming (so if you are farming maples, you'd want to plant palms, etc.)
  20. True, but moving 1-2 squares (on run) actually has no significant impact on your mining speed. Also, the Dwarven Mines are too crowded to use effectively last I was there, but perhaps you can prove me wrong.
  21. Fastest? No, but it is perhaps the easiest way. String Amulet is neither particularly fast nor particularly efficient. The only reason why it is viable is because it is fairly safe, stable, and very easy.

I heavily recommend Smoke or Steam runes. It is much better than ZMI until ~80 rc.
  23. Eh, I think to get gold one of the things you have to do is completely fulfill the objective. All those objectives that said something along the lines of "capture key building" or "capture all portals", I just overwealmed + portal camped and ended up with silver since I got too annoyed to fulfill the objective.
