  1. And for them to make more money. If I were wrong, they would just release updates to their current software instead of charging $1000.00 for a new "better" version.
  2. Il use Crafting as an example instead then, as anything over 90 is unneeded in normal rs. It's unfair of you to consign this to "normal rs." If 99 has use in Dungeoneering, I would count it. Wait for service pack 2. AKA the next set of content which has more floors and new items.
  3. Americans let homosexuals in the military now? That is sort of offensive. They do though.
  4. I am sort of an anthropophobiac. I don't like most people.
  5. So woodcutting is pointless after 90 because you can't chop anything new after that. Of course that is true if you don't plan on cutting logs for money or for training fletching/fire making after level 90.
  6. These are the settings I use when using Sony Vegas and I get the 720p HD option. The file size is low, but the quality is great. Make sure your video project settings are similar to what you want your rendered version is otherwise crappy. Here is a video using those settings: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CD_5zyBDubE To get the 1080p option, change the image size from 1280x720 to 1920x1080. Here is a 1080p video using the same settings above only using 1920x1080 resolution: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iws0TZ_94GY
  7. People who wear their jeans past their asscracks.
  8. You no longer a noob when you quit playing RuneScape or any game where people call you a noob. Seriously, no matter what you will get called a noob. People call certain high ranked players "No life noobs", skillers "skill-noobs", and non-noobs "non-noob noobs". It's a never ending cliche.
  9. They didn't mention any age group. Just "gamers" in general. That explains the list.
  10. Pokemon tried to be, the very best.... Where did they poll these gamers from? What age group?
  11. The nearest bus System is located in Louisville (KY) which is an hour North. My college doesn't have any housing to my knowledge. I am contacting the school tomorrow to see if they have any agreements with local housing areas. When I go with option B, I have to think of food accommodations. I can't live off of Frosted Flakes, Ramen noodles, and Mountian dew for another four years.
  12. So here is my situation. I currently live at home and commute 30 miles each way to college and/or nearly everyday sometimes I go twice a day. My car gets anywhere between 15 and 25 MPG. At $3.00 a gallon, that is roughly 9 bucks in gas a day or 270 a month. This does not include wear and tear on the car such as oil changing and any unforeseen events. The total annual cost in fuel is around $3200.00. That's if it stays around $3.00 a gallon. I am split between two conditions: Should I: A. Continue spending the money to travel the 40 minute/30 mile drive and Indore wear and tear on the car and myself or should I: B. Get an apartment near my college and reduce the gas usage by over 95%. I have lived on my own before, well in my uncles basement paying rent and such. I have located apartments for anywhere between 200 and 500 dollars a month with all utilities included. I am sure I can convince the apartment owners to rent at a cheaper price. Thanks in advanced for your help. -bballer
  13. Hook up a tazer and modify the staples easy button to say "Perform emote". After that, give cape to friend/enemy and tell them to press the button. It looks pretty sweet though ( I voted for this in the competition as well :P).
  14. This is one of the puppies from the litter I had about a year ago: [hide=pic] [/hide] He is roughly 75 pounds.
  15. If you are 18 or older, visit the pubs  . They have some great beers I hear. I am going myself later on.
  16. The same reason why I tell religious people I'm a follower of that religion. It's much more fun to tell them you don't believe, and just walk away while they're talking to you, assholeish, yes. Worth it, definitely. The problem is that a few days later they'll come to your door asking for a donation or another contribution. Tell them you're strictly Satanic/a Scientologist. Or you can invite them in to play with your Ouija board. That makes for some good times.
  17. It is extremely useful for programming, video editing, and gaming. This summer, I will be set for quads hopefully. I am planning on getting another9800, the EVGA P55 SLiboard, an 1156 i7, and 4GB of ddr3 1600mhz ram. I will probably need to get a bigger case. I do not plan on using SLI except for when attending LAN parties.I might try watercooling on my current setup with a cheap kit, My current setup sounds like a jet blowing out of the back of the case with my fans at max. I still manage to keep my CPU around 45c under load and my 9800 at 58c under load. I was looking into the Antec 1200 case, but it rose in price again. I may get the COOLER MASTER HAF. I will have to look at future expandability before I decide for sure. No use of hasseling around with watercooling if you buy a cheap kit. Better to spend 50$ on a good fan instead. You need to spend quite a bit of money on watercooling for it to be useful. I just want to get a watercooling system I can get my feet wet with(no pun intended). If all goes well I will look into a more higher quality system on my new build. Air cooling is only so good. You have to consider ambient temperature and the heat that your components put off.

  19. I have worked with IPB and PHPBB as well as moderated SMF for a friends wow fan site about 4 years ago. What I would really like to do is create my own basic forum system. I have the know-how, but not the time. I can't remember off hand, I just wiped IPB off of my test server a week ago :|
  20. Kinda like a company that makes $25,000,000 a year charging its primarily teenaged and college-aged students over $120 a ticket to attend a celebration ostensibly intended to "thank" them. Jagex lost over 6 million from Mechscape awhile back. Asking what you just did is like asking "Why does Microsoft charge $120.00 + for an operating system when they make billions of dollars a year? ". The price they choose was based on venue cost, food, prizes, and giveaway costs, and whatever other costs.
  21. Ditto. I have been playing around with the content aware healing brush system and its pretty amazing. [hide= before and after pics] Bye bye car :( Bye crappy audio card, 9800 is dominant pc component  [/hide] Video of me using CS5's content aware healing brush: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CD_5zyBDubE
  22. I am not the one you have to impress that into. There are a couple of people here who would ignore that image even if it was printed out and three feet up his or her [wagon].
  23. I would have to say Villandra. She is well know for her slayerbelle and elebreyals accounts as well. She is one of the only top players that I know who communicates with the people. She has done podcast with Zybez and she often updates her youtube channel.
  24. That's the problem. If Jagex insist on giving people who attended the event an in-game item to identify themselves with, does it the proper way, people would be more understanding of the symbolism of the item. Right now we have someone who would pay just for the item without going to the event, and some who would get the item off another person who purchase the ticket. That's why it's not fair. It's not because 'life's not fair'. <_< You don't even get the gist of the argument. I get it just fine. People have no morals or ethics. I realize that. if people could purchase the ticket through their Jagex accounts instead of TM, they could just directly input the item into the user's account/ Understand too, that people are not very forgiving nowadays. Especially with a game that charges you a fee. Especially with past experience with similar matters such as wintumber trees and security keychains. Jagex made a mistake, and people are bound to complain, not pat them on their back and say "it's ok, it's alright...." Gotta love greed.
