  1. I'd be skeptical. The reason is because we've discovered things like scriptures from Solomon's Temple, and (I forget the name) but a burial box of Joseph. But it was all found out to be pure fraud.
  2. Um, I have no idea. My school doesn't have a gym. :?
  3. It's Brazil, not sure what city, but that country is packed like goods being shipped from China.
  4. Matti Vanhanen was both Finland's Prime Minister and President of the EU. So I would assume this would benefit greatly Finland as it is has the head seat of the EU. Or at least used to. I think the EU has a new president now.
  5. When I visited the WTC's and Sears Tower my ears popped in the elevators going up. They also popped on a flight to Disney World years ago. :) The pressure change feels so weird. You're suppose to keep your mouth open and breath through your noise, I think, not so sure on the latter.
  6. The second two are good organizations, the problem is the first one. Any click these sites take money from the advertisers on their sites each time you click. This money is dived into three portions, one goes to the cause, another goes to pay for the site, and the last goes to the CEO's behind it all. How the money is divided is not told to the public I believe.
  7. The first site is a PROFIT organization that does not state the amount of money donated to the cause. I will never ever click one of those 'click this everyday" links and give some CEO's more pocket change.

ORIGINALITY is all the matters. PS: You might wanna fix the link in your sig.
  9. Hey, kids do this all over Africa, where they're entered into armies by force at ages as young as six or seven. Their given guns and bayonets and taught only to kill. They usually die.
  10. Anarchy like Communism only exists in an ideal world. Our world is far from idealistic.
  11. Though I agree, I think some less harmful corporal punishment like spanking is acceptable to a point.
  12. I wouldn't think so. Your previous Prime Minister was once President, so wouldn't that give you the better end of the deal?
  13. Yea, but they used experience to make their money. What sort of experience with suffering and living in poverty in a third world country do you have? I'm talking about USA here, not 3rd world countries. ~Defender~ Most of the people you're referring to were either born in third world countries and used that to gain fame through organizations and such, or they are amazing inventors who came up with amazing ideas, or they are just plain lucky.

  15. It's Solipsism. I've been searching for that word for years, can't believe I finally found it! \
  16. Hmm, must've heard wrong from the movie. :wall:
  17. Illegal Mexican immigrants? :-w :XD: yeah if the bleeding heart "hug thy illegals" liberals have their way...I still can't get over the fact that like 14 states give illegals free college tuition....I have been serving my country in uniform now for 21 years, I don't get free college, I paid for my degree.....got to love it :) Yea, it's just like Affirmative Action. I hate anything based off race.
  18. Then what about the 100th time he failed? What was that! Oops lol.
  19. Yea, and it costs about 10x the cost of normal food. Especially anything whole.
  20. yes, what you posted is completely relevant. But If you think about it, if we are able to filter out everything, and see that one thing in everything, wouldn't that be a potentially great ability if applied to anything? Studying, Medical researching, engineering, any kind of problem solving really.... To find something, do we really need to... want it in some way? It would be interesting if it worked like that, and maybe sometimes it does. Edison (I think) invented the incandescent light bulb, and supposedly he failed 1000 times. I think that would constitute an obsession, and because of it he finally succeeded. Alternatively when you get really obsessed over something you could start seeing it everywhere, like in the quote I posted. You'll start seeing it in completely irrelevant places. Also you could be obsessing over too narrow of a topic, and miss possible solutions that are outside what you are obsessing over. Edison failed 99 times. And when asked what he thought he said, "I did not fail 99 times, I simply found out 99 ways how not to make a lightbulb." National Treasure FTW!
  21. Some types of Satanism don't believe in the same Satan as in the Bible. The biggest branch of satanism, Laveyan satanism believes that you are a god and doesn't believe in any deities. What's the name for the philosophy where you think you're the only one who exists? It starts with an 's' I think.
  22. You still think it's that easy to become a millionaire. *le sigh* BTW the former is wrong, especially in about 80% of the world.

No, because that's being close-minded, and that gets you know here.
  24. Yeah, my obsession pretty much affects my life. Hence my room filled with eleven 3x5 nation flags, and my flags drawn on all my book covers. :P
  25. Just stop with the link please. It's literally driving me away from answering Lionheart's question and reading any thread you replied on, it's driving me insane. K, fix'd, thanks a lot!
