Questioning what to do.
you soooo need to get agility to 84 to use that mega boffo limited special edition elven lands short cut that saves 20 seconds of run only IF you don;t warp there with a teleport crystal. sarcasm btw =) how about raising farming and planting a spirit tree? Cheers! -Boffo boy

agility
All you need is monkey madness, 48 agility and a ninja gree to use ape agility palace (course). recipie for disaster only forces you to make a ninja gree is all, no need to even start the quest to use the course. the giant filled snake quest opens a teleport to ape atoll though which makes getting to the town easier I guess. Dunno, I love the gnomish tansportaion system. I personally suggest wildy to 60 or so then move over to monkey. If you cannot stand wildy (I dislike it myself) can go to monkey now at 52. at 52 though, wildy is mad exp. at 70 move to monkey period and leave wildy forever. oh and why more agility? well 70 is sc in taverly to b drags and every level of agility helps with stamina regen rate... major stuff if you train all the skills. Cheers! -BB

Member Qeusts
any quest you want to do regardless of pay or free only needs the prereq quests listed. When you try and start the quest the game will tell you or just look them up on tip it's main page. A good example would be the entire morytania area east of varrock... to even acess the member quest priest in peril (alows passage into the east) one much have done the free quest restless ghost. Genie Lamps
cooking seems to set it off alot.... I don;t think it's the clicks alone so much that do it, I think it's also the amount of exp you get in a period of time. Another bit is that some skills have deicated events tied to them.. The prayer zombie/leo, the WC ent, the fishing troll etc. Cooking doesn;t have a special event tied to it such that you get only universal events from it. cooking is prolly one of the best skills to farm. Cheers! -BB

Could I do Legends?
yeah I did legends at low 70 combat.... ended up 74 after the quest was over. 43 prayer is the difference as that demon is ugly without parital immunity. oh and the skills are the rub hehehehehehe. Cheers! -BB

Swan Song Queen Troll
ok well 80 combat with d scim and on swan song the queen about ate me alive!!! omg wasn;t expecting anything of the sort but her magic was hitting me 16 every time, I burned an inventory of sharks faster than anything else I've met in a quest. anyway gonna go back with range gear on and a few prayer pots, but has anyone else gotten so um lucky on getting hit for so much or was it a fluke? Cheers! -BB

Fastest Way To Get Coal
I personally have a love hate relationship with mining so can shed a bit of light. On free the only real cash trade skill is msining/smithing, because of this, the mining guild is packed!!! On member, players have other cash sources like rc, fishing/cooking, and fletching to name a few. As such, mining is left to the people that merely want to raise the skill for many people or just outright ignored =) When I went back to mining coal on member in guild, I found that a level 70 agility withboots of lightness means I can leave run on 100% of the time while schlepping coal to the bank. That makes the entire endevor just tenfold more bearable. On free, the default agility 1 means walking is your only real option when carrying 30+ kg weight, that just makes any mining job alot longer. As a memeber miner, boost up agility to at least 30 to reap the benefits. Cheers! -BB

Legends quest question involving agility
what noc said. not really all the easy to explain unless you think of it in server tics. eh hmm heheh. Well the game keeps track of where you are and every server tic, you can do a different action. This applies to everything from casting spells to eating/stealing food, each has it's own dead time after the act before you can do it again. with an sort of one step agility trap like a low wall, you can eleminate a move tic by commanding to move during the trap phase.... In walk mode with you climbing over a wall and then moving 2 spaces away... [wall] -> [stop move at end of trap] - > [walk to waypoint1] -> [walk to waypoint2] the trick is to command to move just as you have done the trap so you never stop... looks like.... [wall] -> [dash to waypoint1] -> [walk to waypoint2] much much easier to show in game as you can see the time saved on your own screen. low wall agility traps are great training for this timing since their animation is simple... click the move as you hit to top of the wall. if you use this concept in the barb agility course along with a 4 click path, repeating the crumbling wall is better exp than running the course.... Cheers! -BB

Legends quest question involving agility
if you bumble around agility arena cluelessly it's a total waste of time. Here's boffo's not-so quick and dirty brimhaven agility arena guide: Requirements: Be at LEAST 40 agility so you can use the majority of the paths. have a moderate level of thief to get food. some cash (max 230 gp), a form of teleport you can wear, boots of lightness from ikov temple (never have to start the quest) Prep: Bank in east ard and dump all that armor etc. Weight is your enemy. boots of lightness are required kit as they will counter the weight of your food. Grab enouigh gold for boat (if no ring of charos it's 30 gp) and the entrance fee for arena for 200 gp. have exact change so the inventory slot is free once on the course Have a form of teleport out you can wear, like glory or dueling ring, since that doesn;t eat a valuable inventory slot. head over to ard market and steal 27 cakes from the cake stall, leaving the last slot for the cash. As you steal the cakes, eat any bread or chocs you get inbetween stall pops. You want the 3 portion white cakes, the golden amber of agility training. Lights! take boat to kaj and the arena is east of the docks. Pay entance and drop any excess gold, you must have a free inventory slot for the arena tickets. Camera! Go to tip it's skill page on agility and scroll down to simple, easy to understand, color coded map. keep this up in some form so you can reference it as you chase tickets. tiling windpws is one way to keep the map handy, multi monitors or even printed/handwritten maps taped onto the monitor work. Instead of chasing after the first arrow you see on entry, calmly make your way to the center platform as you have no idea how much time is left on the current arrow. Action! Look close at the lay out of the arena and lok for the 3 traps to avoid at all costs; the dreaded poisoned darts. Darts are bad bad bad news because not only do they need 40 agility to pass and cause damage, but they lower your agility for a good time span. once you go below 40 agility, you will auto fail darts and the spin blades. you can die in the arena and this is the trap that does it. Once you hit level 50 agility, it's safe to use darts as a means of passage. First off you can afford a few lost agility points on fail and second, a sucessful darts is one of the fastest traps to cross. Keep in mind you do not want to dip befow 45 agility as those spin blades are nasty customers still. at low 40 agility, spin blades can be especially painful as their fail rate is high, if you fail 5 in a row, just chill and realize the random number generator hates you. No way to avoid these traps btw so grin and bear it. at 50 and higher, the fail rate goes down dramatically. The other passway you need to be careful of are the ones along the outer wall called hand holds. the reason these are so dangerous is that when you fail, you lose a ton of time and energy not only getting to the point of failure but trying to run around the basement to get back up top. Realize if you can't afford to avoid a hand hold, a single failure means a missed arrow most times. The rope swing is similar in danger but not as bad a time sink. The saw blade traps are not automatic click pass traps. You must manually time these to run by without getting hit. low walls are a free trap... when you can, make use of these paths for less resistance. as in all agility training, the damage you take is based on your total hp remaining. the magic number is 20 and under whean traps do their minimum 3 damage. Use those cakes you stole to heal 4 hp at a time and account for your regen. no point eating a slice of cake until 15 or lower hp. Remember that to earn a ticket you must flag up before the arrow changes 2 times for the first ticket. When you miss a ticket, you need to get two in a row again to start earning tickets. This game is not a race to be first amoung the players, it's only about beating the evil random number generator. run energy is the key to tickets. Try and not leave auto run on but use selective alt to run when you need to. If you do go 0 energy, best to just walk center and chill until you are 100% again once you miss a flag. The basic game plan is to be as close to center as you can afford before the next change in platform. The reason for this is, the less distance to the flag at start, the less running you must do. So start center, walk/run to flag and start heading back to center platform. You end up eating more food this way yes but you get exp per trap (which adds up) and heading back to ard for food is fast and easy. The key here is you want the longest streak of tickets you can manage. Miss one and you lose out of a minimum of 2 tickets, adding a 3rd missed ticket to that streak is a ok if it means you can make the next 25 tiickets. Be careful if at center as change in arrows can sometimes be hard to spot. other people on the course helps alert you to flag changes. from the center platform, darts are west, wall is south, spin blade north and pillars east. If a flag is to the west, best move is to head south over the low wall then west from there. A little trick to shave time off many of the traps is to click move right at the apex of a trap and one will dash a step right out. Takes some practice but if you remain in walk mode, it's easy to spot when you've done it correctly. split seconds sometimes matters! When you are done, teleport out. if you don;t recall, the manual exit is in the north east corner, hehehe not east, um? Don't trade in tickets for exp until you have 100 or 1000 tickets as you get more exp per ticket for bulk turn-ins At low forty agility, every 100 tickets makes a noticable improvement in your arena results such that you shouldn;t wait for 1k tickets if the arena is your only form of agility exp. Over over 50 agility, best to save up 1k tickets for the 320k return as single level skill up are not that profound at that level. Above all, have fun and keep the arena in mind when you have 2k magic longs to hi alch. Cheers! -BB

Family Crest, am I ready?
I did the quest with much less on my 25 day blitz to legends. the quest is super easy up until the demon at end. well that is until you figure out the south tip of that cave is a safe spot, then you realize how trivial it really is. keep in mind you must not only cast one of each death nuke, but they must each do damage - bring spare death runes. Finish it off with whatever choice of range/ magic. For maximum fun, use fire strikes! Cheers! -BB

fastest agility exp
yeah save ape atoll at high levels. The way the course is set up, you lose out on the big exp unless you pass all the obs. By far my favorite course at 70 as food is trivial to get and even at 70, I take so little damage to even care. wildy owns at 60 though if you have strange to the usa playing hours. Cheers! -BB

Resipe For Disaster: Awowogei help with nuts
ninja grees can be made from the bones of any of those annoying archer monkeys that infest ape atoll. Even though they are on platforms, melee hits them fine and you can loot without using tele grab. if you want a larger monkey ninja, well kill one of the named ninja monkeys with the scims... they are all like level 167ish and hit wicked fast. If you go after the one center of town (he protects the statue), keep in mind you must keep range prayer up at all times as his buddies will be raining arrows upon you. he hits fast and hard so life ring is always nice if he gets lucky on you. running just south of him usually gets you jailed for an escape, just go monkey to walk out. His hp regens slowly so you can hit and run him with poison or however. guard monkeys are the big hulk gorrillas in the temple, they are sorta of difficult to kill solo as they heal near the end of health but there's a shrine right there to replenish prtect melee prayer. If you are not high level, packing a whip, I'd suggest getting someone to help. Poison isn;t too terribly useful as it's far too slow to kill them alone. There's another bearded gorilla you can get that works as well, not too sure as I just went ofr a normal guard. a few ways to get a zombie gree, I think you can go under the trap door of the temple but easier is any of the green monkeys on the way to um zanook or whoever that gnome is who makes your talis and gree. just kill one on your way to making the grees. there are two types of zombie monkeys , small and large. I never bothered to get both. for each gree you need made you need to pick up a toy at the magic shop. each is 1k gold - not sure if you need the monkey speak ammy to get it. imo load up on all 3 to 6 types of bones you want grees for, with a corrosponding toy rattle for each before making the run to zanook or whoever. Using monkey form in the maze makes the trip a bit more barable but no desire to do that over and over hehe. hope that helps Cheers! -BB

MONEYMONEYMONEY!!! I LOVE MON- ... uh where do i get it?
I personally like alkard to kaj via gnome then over the bridge to shrine. I glory back to alkard. I have rather high agility so stamina regens fast enough and the time it takes me to get to shrine and back over using abby is rewarded in that I can pay about 10% interest to the game while doing it. Anyway I can use my full inventory for ess this way with nat tiara + boots of light + dueling ring + glory. use a spare dueling ring in case I forget to swap out glories every 4 charges hehe Abby is faster yes but this requires almost no thought to do for 6 hours a clip. can read the forums while doing it! Cheers! -BB

Gnome Stronghold agility shortcut question
hmm I did great tree early and couldn't get over that sc at 37 If I recall correctly. The message I got was like "it's too steep" so something. worked after 45ish agility though so not sure what all let me pass it. Anyone else recall when they could cross it? Cheers! -BB

When should I become a member?
A good guide line if you arte looking for most bang for the buck is do all free quests up and beat dragion slayer. If you don;t care about ramping up, member at level 3 is fine as well as you have a ton of advantages you can get started on posthaste. 1. Spinning flax at level 10 crafting is not only great exp, it's great money to start the game with. get to level 10 by killing a few cows or just picking up hides on member or free near lumby. once you hit ten, move on over to seers or gnomes and spin to 50 crafting level easy. 2. AGILTY!!! omg this skill helps everything you do so much. Not only do you regen stamina much faster (at 1 it's almost nil) even at level 30 agility, you can use 90% of the shortcuts you'd care about. Move on up to the gnome stronghold nw part of world and work agility to 30 on their course. Can pick and spin flax neaby so a great starter location. 3. boots of lightness. these guys lower your weight like -4 ish kg and are amazing for things like agility training and flax picking to name a few tasks.... how to get these free boots: you need to slash a web so bring a knife or sword etc, a tinderbox, and a few gold for a candle along the way. the room is dark so stop at catherby and buy a candle and light with a tinderbox. Catherby is just west of the white wolf mountain. The temple of ikov is where the boots are and NO you do not need to start the quest of the same name. On the map it's a giant grey rectangle south of seers, west of catherby, south of the diamond shaped range guild, soth east of the fishing guild. pop on down the ladder there and dodge the level 27ish bats to go west to some stairs. make sure you have a lit candle and go down the stairs to a dark room with no monsters. the boots are a ground spawn in the ne corner of the dark room behind the web. look for the red dot on the mini map. it's a quest item so if you want more than one, drop any in your inventory before grabbing another ground spawn. They don;t seem to have any value whatsoever so they will be lost when you die most likely. Between flax -> bowstrings for very very easy cash and agility/boos, member is great even at level 3 new to game. Cheers! -BB

Gettings Members Again - What should i do first?
do the gnome transport missions post haste. The Grand Tree - gnome glider system for all but ogre land Tree Gnome Village - gnome spirit tree transportaion system. Not only are those two required for monkey madness and d scims, but htey make getting around runscape much faster get agility to 50 as it helps regen energy in a major way. Also needed for legends quest which is nice to get later. Fishing contest for dorf tunnel below wolf mt. dragon slayer for rune bp. drudic ritual to get you started on herbology if you never did. jungle potion for a foothold on kaj. priest in peril to open the east. Make hero quest a longer term goal as being able to rechage glories is a major time saver. Shilo village quest is major and the run off quest one small favor is great for shoring up skills you need for.... legends Legends is is a great long term goal but unless you are a trade skill freak like me, it might be a bit painful to get the skills needed for entry. just a few thoughts. Again though, do no underestimate the value of agility, it helps all other skills in that being able to run with full plate on is a blessing. Cheers! -BB

Camo..
The 3 times I saw him; 2 times I was on an agility course and last time was smelting gold in port phansy. I've been getting a ton of genies lately not drill demons, not that I'm complaining.... Cheers! -BB

~Fast ways to train mage to 94~
just a word of warning, firebolt is like 22.5 exp per cast, the calculator uses max hit as per nuke exp... so that's a best case. Cheers! -BB

want 94 mage.... plz help me get it
if slayer is 55, use slayer staff and crumble undead at like shilo. slayer staff lets you auto cast crumble undead and better damage than fire bolt. Cheers! -BB
