too bad regicide and mourners needs underground pass......... but yes troll romance is good quest based exp. No idea about agility pyramid but between barb and brimhaven... Stick it out barb til at the very least 40 agility. there's zero reason to waste your time in brinhaven when you cannot pass the spinning blades in the center. If you do brimhaven around 40, turn tickets in at 100. Cheers! -BB

Problem with cosmics are that they need pure ess to make. If you you have the agility to use the longer shortcut, it's only worth it if you can manage to mine your own ess... buying pure ess is too much given the alternatives.. for real power leveling rc, go to a free market world west varrock bank and buy lesser ess in 5k quantities (whichever your budget it) and duel ring fires or walk airs. Cheap and easy way... Run air runes - mind numbing but will get exp and air runes are usful. Also, though it doesn;t help the exp per ess, Air runes have the lowest levels for multiple runes. you'll end up with a ton of airs doing this.. The real power leveling way. ash Use tip it's calculators to determine how many fire runes you need and then get a supply of dueling rings with as many charges as you need. Optimal is to glory to edgeville and dueling ring to dueling arena. To refill glory, use gaming neck to port to burp and hit hero guild. This only uses one charge of dueling ring a run but requires more prep work/initial cost. keep in mind multiple glories is a gift that benifits most other skills in some fashion, do not thing getting 6 glories is only good for rc. If you don;t have 4+ glory ammys and the ability to refill them via hero guild, you'll be forced to use 2 charges of dueling ring a run. In that case ring over to castelwars to bank and dueling arena to craft. that is gooood. Use at least the small ess pouch as it never decays and is given from the mini quest for abyss. Medium pouch requires abyss hunting but if you have one, you can let it decay and I think the minimum capacity is 3 ess like the small, so worth using. Pouches start to dominate RCing after 50 when the large comes into play. Inventory for rune crafting: NO ARMOR - stop it, every time I see people crafting in full rune I cringe. RC is about running about and wieght is the enemy. Boots of lightness (read tip it's guide to temple of ikov - no need to start quest) lowers weight by at least 4 kg, since ess is little if any weigh and you'll be running largely naked, you'll be negative weight which is goood. Elemental tiara!!!! use the rc hat that suits your shrine. If you don;t have one to start, make one on the first trip. The dueling ring must occupy an inventory slot as you use it when porting to the shrine. If using glory you have a choice of leaving it in inventory for faster clicks, or wearing swapping out to port back to edge. Keep in mind, power crafting rc's is a click fest akin to agility training. In all cases, the higher your agility, the better. Other than power crafting fires where there is a saturation point upon which you'll never stop to regen energy, any other method ot rc will drain your run energy to zero. Anytime I burst a few levels of RC I end up training agility some more as at 76 agility I can still use more!!!! agility is the godfather of all non combat skills. Cheers! -BB

If you for some reason think that high alching a d axe for 33k is sane, all I can say is you are most likely a troll just triyng to get a rise out of the board :D honestly sell it on forums for 50k and throw in a free nat rune lol. don;t need any prayer get rune armor + d weapon with the little extras like fremmy hat etc, your normal cheapo melee kit. As always!!!!! have a filled ectophial in an easy to click spot and run to abby with inventory screen open. As you are in melee equipment, your magic def will blow so test run for pk's or just have a fast ecto click if you see spells flying. bring a ring of wealth and 3/4ths inventory of good food like lobs + once in , run over to the nw area of the outer abyss. If you get in trouble, ECTO. hole up in one of the outer branches so that only one mob can get to you and wait for them to come to you. The leeches only have like 10 hp but they hit alot... For the first 15 mins there, try and find the branch where a level 59 guardian pops close to the cubby. It takes longer to kill a guardian but they hit so rarely it's all good. stay away from the level 81 walkers, they can hit hard and do not die fast. Once you lose the abby induced skull and the mobs go non aggro, it's safe to explore a bit and attack leeches since first hit has a great chance of killing them. expect to spend about 30 to 40 mins getting the pouches so choose what your loot wisely as you'll have alot of food with you. Keep in mind that the unnoted ess you get can go into the pouches as you get them and necklaces of bindeing are nice. have yet to see a use for an elemental talisman like ever... =) Cheers! -BB

people just chill about this thread. I was on a server with less than 1200 people and 3 people level 70 to 80 were in one room doing absolutely fine with mobs to kill. Keep in mind it was one room on one level on a half empty server with slow respawn times. Theres a ton of content in there even for free servers. Cheers! -BB

yeah the cost of the dragon and borrow gloves overrides other bits of equipment you might want to keep for the 3/4 item rule upon death. Don;t pk with over rune gloves or if there's a chance of dying. Cheers! -BB

brimhaven is a really bad idea under level 40 agility... if you are level 39 agility, just skip that place. only real options are barb and agility pyramid. Agility is a love hate skill... some peeps can do it hours on end np other cannot take more than 10 mins. Cheers! -BB

when I blitzed to legends my first month of member I used all but eadgars ruse as quest exp. One small favor as well gives 2x 10k genies lamps, both went to herb. I also used the chaos druid warriors in yan's agility dungeon for herbs, nice drop rate. Cheers! -BB

Sweet prayer level from free to play btw. as member first thing to do is level up... ****** agility****** start in falador with a sword and not much weight. Do not wear full rune armor hehe. open the official map so you can start learning the lay of the land... Run west to taverly and run over the wolf mountain to catherby (watchout for the woves buy a candle and light it. there's a bank right there to get your tinder box and sword if you need/forgot. Open up the map jagex links at top of the game window and trace a line due west of catherby to the building marked sorcerers tower. You destination is the grey rectangle to the left of the tower. It has a water source icon next to it, the temple of ikov. Once there, hop on down and run west past the level 27ish giant bats. go down the steps *you need a lit light source* once down in the room go to the ne corner of the room where you see a red dot on themini map. slash the web and snag the blue boots sitting there. If you want more than one set, drop the ones you are carriing before picking up the next ground spawn. grats, you have a set of Boots of lightness, which lower your weight over 4 kg.. agility and quest must have really. Trace your steps up and east outside again and head west to the stonghold of gnomes in the nw corner of the world. Play the little mini game helping the gnome with the cart and lo!!! your first agility field is a hop skip and a jump away. Agility is the stat upon which your energy rate depends, upping the regen rate and general endurance. Notice on free you cannot run for long at all? that's because agility is locked at skil level 1. Do your best to level up to at least 30 here before seriously running around runescape. The reason for this is simple, no matter how many laws you eat you will be running around a ton. Agility helps all other skills in that you get around much faster. Quests are major in that their rewards range from raw exp/items to new skills and entire new areas. Quests you really want done, assuming all free quests are done.... in rough order of difficulty Fishing contest - gives you access to the dorf pass underneath wolf hill... if you've run it once you'll never want to run it again hehe. The first step of recipie for disaster... opens a bank in the lumby basement! Druidic rituals - allows you to start on herbalore Jungle potion - followup to druidic ritual, good herbalore exp and opens up the the sothern karamjan island. herbalore and farming are similar in that at low levels, your options for exp are so limited it's silly, using quests to exp the skills to a respectable level is reccomended. this is the list from sal's (salmoneus's runescape page)- not sure if leagal to link that fine site but google will work. * Eadgar's Ruse Quest - 11,000 exp * Zogre Flesh Eaters - 2,000 exp * Shades of Mort'ton - 2,000 exp * Digsite Quest - 2,000 exp * Hero's Quest - 1,825 exp * Recruitment Drive - 1,000 exp * Jungle Potion - 775 exp * Druidic Ritual - 250 exp I have mad respect for both sals and tip it. please excuse if I offended either. Tears of gunthix is a great way to train up your weak skills get that done asap. lost tribe lets you get to the snake much esier. Two quests for easing travel... Gnome stronghold for glider action!!!! get magic to 12 and just fire stike the end demon from the safe spot between the rocks. Tree gnome village - For spirit tree lovin! trivial with 43 prayer important upgrades: Lost city for access to your first dragon weapns, the long sword and the dagger. very easy with 43 prayer or a magic level of 12+ and much later.... Monkey madness for d scim and the best agility training location after 70 agility. d scim is as fast as dagger just about and hits alot harder... a must have. For serious land access... Priest in distress - opens the swamps to the far east and home to many fine quests. like ghosts ahoy!!! a major milestone and the basis for the other swamp quests for the ectophial alone.. Overall goals Hero guild for d baxe/mace, a caghed blue dragon, rune rocks that are perma camped and last, but not least.... the ability to rechage ammys of glory. legends - forces you to balance skills, get a nifty cape for cheap!!! and a great place to train wc/fletching with the maples to the west. before you start farming, do... growning pains to get level 17 farming and magic scats. which allows you to do forttegable tale of a drunken dorf for the level needed for garden of tranquility.. blam level 33ish in farming and you can grow some nice stuff. next quest up needs 40 farming so I had to farm a few things to get to 43 farming hehehe. For cash now!!! just pick flax and spin it into bow strings in seers. fast way to make cash and you get good crafting exp. For rasing magic, just rc airs and buy a few minds... strike/firestrike is a cheap way to exp magic. Cheers! -BB

in the portal room you need not only the portals themselfs, you need a focus ring in center toi direct the portals along the walls. to set a portal, you you click on the focus and spend like 100x runes to set the spell (you only get 10x the exp so don;t do this for magic exp) additionaly, once you set the 3 portals in the room to what you want, if you never plan to change them, remove the focus for easier travel. The highest level portal focus allows you to scry the portal target area I guess but since none are in wildy, I don;t see a reason to care. Personally my house is in yannile and I have two portal rooms, that lets me build 6/7 portals with watchtower missing. since yannile is just home portal, I don;t need watchtower so I removed the foci after setting the portals. As the subject line asks, is there any particular reason why when you are smithing say iron knives or steel arrow heads, right click only gives you the option of up to 10 sets? Is there a reason there's no make X sets option that I'm missing, or have people just not complained enough? =) There was another skill I recall that had that annoying up to 10 option to it, cannot recall what it was though or if it got 'fixed' in an update. yup all you need to do is walk around town with rnge prayer up adn LO!!!!!! look at all the ninja monkies saying hi! A good start place is at temple to regen prayer then walk outside to the west. turn on auto retaliate, range prayer and drop monkey form with a weapon boom dead archer monkey and you can get the bones without telegrab. run back to temple but make sure to change over to melee prayer. Run up the stairs in the northern part of the temple and you can go back to monkey form and regen prayer. that's for the small ninja. the large ones come from the named scimitar wielding ninjas. There's no differance unless you want bragging rights, or a better view of your toon on the agil course. Can find a named ninja at the statue center of town... you need to keep range prayer up because his 35 ninja buddies will be raining arrows on you. he hits fast and pretty hard so look out if your combat is lower. the crystals are a common drop from the south camp elves (not the northern ones by lordd whathis name). All it takes is one elf slayer mission in south and you'll have 20 of the things hehe.. after you charge them a few times, the price for recharge is only 150 gp for 3 charges. I took about 20 of them and charged them all up for a paltry 3k I got from alching the elf drops hehe. Cheers! -BB

don;t be fooled thinking you need high elvel ruens to exp.. fire striking a low magic resist npc like the black knight in port sarim prison is great cheap exp. if you are training rc same time, airs are great low level rc exp. I got 12 to 69 off fire strikes in about two days once I had the 10kish air 5kish minds killing that poor knight. Cheers! -BB

I used low ping as a tool at about level 40 mining on f2p.. I live close to the major servers and my ping time hovers 5 to 10 ms. that low ping helped me get the jump on people with twice my mining. if your ping high, well that's a problem. Cheers! -BB

you'd honestly want 50 or 55 rc for airs... 50 gets you 3 pouches and 55 is 6x air per ess. as for mining ess for airs, never use pure ess on airs if p2p. Cheers! -BB

hahaha just run in pop it, hide behind any of the many rocks and um whatever... you can run south or west I know for sure. Kill it with fire strikes..... you can take runes there. honestly asking others to fight for you will only hurt you in the long run. Cheers! -BB
