This is joint-research, yes?

Damn those pesky Green Peace buggers. And I think we already came up with a solution? Warp drives, neh?

My word, how'd I forget the Beatles. [yt]FxyJLxV0_-8[/yt]

Just remembered you saying that, I sorta lol'd Cheers. And we've been researching FTL travel for a while now, remember? Hate to say I told you so about the peace thingy. This is why no one wants to have a civil war to spice things up a bit; because they suddenly find themselves invaded by millions of foreign troops who want to "keep the peace" hehehe.

Europa has devoted half its budget to building spaceships. My two new shipyard are complete, so I should be able to churn out 1 craft per year (colony ships), or a battleship every 3 years. This will continue until the surplus funds from years I didn't spend it is exhausted, at which point I should have around 30 or so colony/transport ships. Also, Ross, can I buy a half-dozen of those super-computers? I want to load all of humanity's history & written work onto them and send it to Midgard, in case the Earth gets destroyed. And lol guys at your "establishing peace" protocol. Send in the army and conquer territory, yea, that'll help Kazakh

What are those?

Blast, old habits die hard. My AI won't be for combat purposes. Using it for construction or something then? You shall seeeeee. My battlestation has been modified so that it can carry tungsten rods.

Yea I'm cool with that. Alright, cool. My first order of business is combating poverty and mandating education. EDIT: So you now have Gabon, Sri Lanka, and the islands, right? And I have Nigeria. [hide=Updated map][/hide] Germania's AI tech is in alpha prototype testing phase.

Yes. It makes Europe virtually impregnable. A continent that is a fortress. And good luck laying siege, we have food for melleniums! sorry for being devils advocate, because im all for you being pretty much impregnable, but for it to be impregnable, youd need the wall to be fitted with antiaircraft guns, rail guns, turrets etc, otherwise planes would just fly over the top and bomb the [cabbage] out of everything. also it wouldnt be too hard to blow a hole in the wall in other ways There is artillery, AA, SAM and bunkers all along the wall. And yes, the wall can be blown up. But then it makes a mini-mountain that's impossible for tanks and whatnot to get past.
-
If they break into my house -> If they trespass on my lawn -> If they start [cabbage] on my street -> if they cause trouble in my city -> if they [bleep] with my country -> [bleep] it let's just bomb them.

Alright, my mining ship has been sent off to find an asteroid that has the materials I require for my secret doomsday device, muwahaha (not really). And Deep Mining research has started on Haven.

That graph is in gigatons. Aka, 1 billion tons. Whoops. The chart I looked at for production ( I just checked back at it) was made kinda crappily. They used dots instead of commas to break up the numbers (1.000 instead of 1,000) which made me misread the graph. Freaked me out for a second. I thought we might have went through a cement drought while I wasn't looking. It really didn't make sense to me that the world produced 1.2 billion tons of iron but only like 2 million tons of cement. Friggin wikipedia graphmakers. heh. I'll quickly do the math for a cement wall. 2,970,000,000 tons. For a price of 92 dollars ish per ton. So basically, 2.5-8 trillion for materials alone. I'm too lazy to do more. Hrm. I have a surplus spending budget of 800b per year, so it'll probably take me around 20 years then. So 5 more years. Let's just say I was building the wall in Europe from the start. Btw Doom is my mining ship ready?

Fade to Black is another great one.

Fine, [bleep] the African wall. I'm building one in Europe though. All around my European territory. And I will dig a giant hole in African to get all the rock. Btw, I wasn't building it in iron. That graph is in gigatons. Aka, 1 billion tons.

Why must you always be a party pooper, Doom? Walls made using rocks (from quarries) and concrete. If need be I'll just go to war with someone and capture some slaves to make it, that should cut down on costs. Brb gonna roll a dice to decide who meets my army. Besides, if the Egyptians could built a pyramid 500 feet high nearly 4000 years ago, I think I can build a wall.

As long as it isn't in the trillions, I should be able to do it over a 10 year time span. Do you think 700 billion is a good estimate for the cost? Sounds about right. It took me around 15 years to complete my project, though I have more funds and manpower available. Didn't you also have more land to build around, though? It may or may not completely surround Canada. (Though if it did, I would build the wall along the coastal areas X miles inland.) Yes. That's what I meant. I took only a slight bit longer despite having more land because I had more funds and manpower available.

Eh it's alright, I figured you missed it. And damn, forgot to plant bombs there, hm. I do like my bombs.

Depends how long you are I suppose.

Hm. I don't think you can trade other people's countries Doom. I gave half of Cameroon to Luxembourg, and the other half is mine. To Rocco: I will trade Nigeria for the Sri Lankan isles. *bolded. Awesome! When did that happen exactly? I can't remember you ever giving me land, although I'd gladly accept :) Estimated 1 year until completion of TerrAvenger. Fun times a head \ Pg.212 Billions upon billions. A giant gate isn't feasible, though. My walls have tunnels for cars to pass the border (as every country needs imports). The tunnels can be sealed by blast doors (open the blast doors! Open the blast doors!), and if the section of the wall falls into enemy hands, there are explosives that collapse the tunnel. Basically, the walls in concrete, iron/steel, and rock. 500 feet, so that no heavy military equipment (tanks, artillery, etc) can be moved across the border.
