And good luck laying siege, we have food for melleniums! sorry for being devils advocate, because im all for you being pretty much impregnable, but for it to be impregnable, youd need the wall to be fitted with antiaircraft guns, rail guns, turrets etc, otherwise planes would just fly over the top and bomb the [cabbage] out of everything. also it wouldnt be too hard to blow a hole in the wall in other ways There is artillery, AA, SAM and bunkers all along the wall. And yes, the wall can be blown up. But then it makes a mini-mountain that's impossible for tanks and whatnot to get past.

Alright, my mining ship has been sent off to find an asteroid that has the materials I require for my secret doomsday device, muwahaha (not really). And Deep Mining research has started on Haven.

That graph is in gigatons. Aka, 1 billion tons. Whoops. The chart I looked at for production ( I just checked back at it) was made kinda crappily. They used dots instead of commas to break up the numbers (1.000 instead of 1,000) which made me misread the graph. Freaked me out for a second. I thought we might have went through a cement drought while I wasn't looking. It really didn't make sense to me that the world produced 1.2 billion tons of iron but only like 2 million tons of cement. Friggin wikipedia graphmakers. heh. I'll quickly do the math for a cement wall. 2,970,000,000 tons. For a price of 92 dollars ish per ton. So basically, 2.5-8 trillion for materials alone. I'm too lazy to do more. Hrm. I have a surplus spending budget of 800b per year, so it'll probably take me around 20 years then. So 5 more years. Let's just say I was building the wall in Europe from the start. Btw Doom is my mining ship ready?

The tunnels can be sealed by blast doors (open the blast doors! Open the blast doors!), and if the section of the wall falls into enemy hands, there are explosives that collapse the tunnel. Basically, the walls in concrete, iron/steel, and rock. 500 feet, so that no heavy military equipment (tanks, artillery, etc) can be moved across the border.

About how much would it cost to set up those walls around Canada? Enough. I don't see the point though, as Britannia's strength is in its navy. Europa's strength is in its army (specifically its infantry). Why Chad and not Sudan? I'm not really willing to give up both, but Sudan is a better choice as it's not landlocked as Chad is. If you still want Chad, though, then you can have it.

Border project complete, all of Europa's land borders are now protected by 500 ft walls (pretty much). Coastal defenses are being constructed all along Europa's coastline, should be done in 10 years.

Construction on a battle station in orbit above Midgard has begun, once that is finished in 6 years, outposts all around the outer reaches of the planet will be built, as an early detection system for incoming ships. Oh and Ross, if a single pound of those materials fall on Europa soil, I'll consider it an act of war.

Alright, I guess it's my turn Doom. South America is pretty much off-limits to new players, as is Europe (as neither me nor Doom want to give someone a country beside our main power base). However! You can choose a country that I currently hold in Northern Africa, provided it's not Libya, Morocco, Algeria or Tunisia (I like the Mediterranean). That still leaves you with around 15-20 countries to choose from, though. And don't worry about the poverty or corruption in those countries. The corruption was stamped out, and infrastructure put in place to combat poverty, so any nation you choose will be on even footing with a European country. I still don't think it makes sense that you have the capability to produce 2 million of them a year. Europa update: Navy done upgrades, now modern for game-time. E2S missiles coming along nicely Bomb coming along nicely Gun coming along nicely. Due to humans being able to survive extreme weathers, an exploration of Greenland's icy heart was started a while ago. Europa has found a massive oil well there. Construction on infrastructure to get the oil has begun, should be done in 3 years. Taxes raised by 2% in Europa.
