  1. Anyway, at the moment the hegemonys fun, but it lacks a bit of the real world. One person isn't going to make a difference in the hegemony, anyway. We all like Dungeoneering, its the most popular thread in Falador Tavern. I was thinking, what if we combine the two? Maybe we could have tripwires, and guns in the walls so the only way to actually enter through a wall is sending a single man through a service tunnel and killing the guards by stealth? We could have fights, aiming guns and stuff. You could play as a single person within a battle, and you'd get a bonus I guess I'm not part of this 'we all' group. No. If you want to play Dungeoneering, go play that. This is Hegemony. -- Greece declares war on Albania. Roughly 140,000 Greek troops cross the border and engage the pitfully small Albanian army, which would undoubtedly be caught by surprise by the war (they have an active military of a little over 10,000). Anyways, Arch can decide how it goes. Undoubtably half my invasion force will end up dieing from a single mine and the rest will get dysentery, but whatever.
  2. Greece withdraws its troops from Iran, and brings them back home. Annexation of Bulgaria continues. Project BA starts.
  3. Btw I have better bear cavalry
  4. Not at the moment, no. I think you over-estimate the mobility of modern armies.

Well, that's just your lack of self-respect speaking Dusty. /JK True  Also nice pic Das
  6. I'll let you guys do the dirty work. Like I said, I don't mind Hex, I think it's funny how everyone gets pissed at him all the time.

Tbh I think we are sick weirdo nerds or whatever that person I've never even seen before said. Quality observation!
  8. Army cap is determined by logistics really. Sending an army of 5 million across the globe to go invade nowhereistan is going to result in them dieing of starvation. I remember you claiming you nuked my industrial centres, which was impossible since they were all on Yggdrasil and Holmgard, protected by defenses spanning across 20 light years. Haha

    *puts on glasses* YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
  10. Lol. Didn't Grim secretly nuke Dusty's wall in the last game. Also, adding to the military suggestion: To prevent large armies, just cap it off at 500,000 for a professional army and 100,000 for militia. That was the only other reason why Archi had to get rid of the militaries. Even if we continue this, someone like Hex will just keep a massive army of 7.5 million people. In the long run, we have the same problems as what Archi feared -- the sole reason why he imposed this rule. He nuked my wall so that he could fly over it. Don't ask. And no cap. Or else it gets silly. Imagine TFed in the first Hegemony with a cap of 500k troops? Impossible to defend. What do you mean 'you whom I expected better from'? I'm a meglomaniac warmongerer; not exactly prone to close diplomatic ties with countries that aren't military allies.

Idk, it was a pic I found for one of my Baldur's Gate characters; I named him Mephisto. He was kinda a [bleep].

Not something to be proud of in this particular instance. I think Hex is proud of all the attention, which is pretty much all he makes those stupid posts to get. Yes I'm told I don't take things seriously enough. Hm.
  13. Hex, you must not have been around much if you think that was a shouting match. And lol Ross, I expect to see 1000foot walls made out of tungsten when I do decide to invade.

:???: Oh and it's an admin party in the thread! Wooo
  15. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alliance There was nothing stopping you from forming one. Actually I want to bomb bomb bomb Iran, but the problem with that is that Iran needs to exist for me to do that. Don't really feel like bombing China. Hehe -- To Sere: I'm fine with that. I don't really like the fact that I don't have aircraft or naval vessels, since planes take like 3 years to build, and naval vessels like 10.

-POSTS JOKE ABOUT RAPE TO CHALLENGE DAS' PROCLAMATION- But tbh Hex should just be banned from the internet. You can arrange that, right mister?
  18. Of course not, that would break your established isolationist play style...
  19. Greek positions. The Greek Navy, comprising of a singular transport vessel, is fitted with a cannon and sent to the strait of Hormuz. Because you had 200 years to build up an army to defend yourself with? Probably Rocco that said that, then. But he's said that about everyone by now so it doesn't really matter. edit: Chinese troops are withdrawing. Greek troops will remain for the next 3 months to ensure it's not a feigned retreat.
  20. 60,000 Greek soldiers land in Iran and take up defensive positions. The armour should arrive within the month as well. So, 60,000 fully equipped and trained Greek soldiers, 400 Medium tanks, 250 light tanks, and 700 APCs. Paul, care to join in? CRUSADE TIME YEAAAA btw in case this post gets confused, I'm defending Iran against China. Ross you should probably institute a draft right about now.
  21. I THINK SUCH AND SUCH IS A BETTER THING TO USE FOR THIS SITUATION BECAUSE I INVENTED IT AND ITS NOT UBERING SCREW YOU I QUIT
  22. I believe it's 'Anglo-Saxons only'. So, sorry Iran.
  23. Yea, or else Mather will spam you incessantly with unfunny motivational posters and posts revering Norway for it's excellence, and Hex will do nothing. Scary threats...
  24. Greece now, in an effort to out-do Britannia's national thievery skills, adopts 'The Charge of the Light Brigade' as their military's battle hymn. Half a league, half a league,   Half a league onward, All in the valley of Death   Rode the six hundred. 'Forward, the Light Brigade! Charge for the guns' he said: Into the valley of Death   Rode the six hundred. 'Forward, the Light Brigade!' Was there a man dismay'd? Not tho' the soldiers knew   Some one had blunder'd: Theirs not to make reply, Theirs not to reason why, Theirs but to do and die: Into the valley of Death   Rode the six hundred. Cannon to right of them, Cannon to left of them, Cannon in front of them   Volley'd and thunder'd; Storm'd at with shot and shell, Boldly they rode and well, Into the jaws of Death, Into the mouth of Hell   Rode the six hundred. Flash'd all their sabres bare, Flash'd as they turned in air Sabring the gunners there, Charging an army while   All the world wonder'd: Plunged in the battery-smoke Right thro' the line they broke; Cossack and Russian Reel'd from the sabre-stroke Shatter'd and sunder'd. Then they rode back, but not Not the six hundred. Cannon to right of them, Cannon to left of them, Cannon behind them   Volley'd and thunder'd; Storm'd at with shot and shell, While horse and hero fell, They that had fought so well Came thro' the jaws of Death, Back from the mouth of Hell, All that was left of them,   Left of six hundred. When can their glory fade? O the wild charge they made!   All the world wonder'd. Honour the charge they made! Honour the Light Brigade,   Noble six hundred! HA
