  1. Erm, it was released with the slayer skill, and people didn't get 85 slayer the day it was released. Sure, some hex edited to get the picture, but that doesn't mean anything. ;P
  2. that would never be released, at least not a great cost in money/runes. It would make things waaaay to easy (if you mean it would act as a normal bank) If the cost didn't unbalance the game, I could see a "deposit box" spell working. Of course, they can always limit it to certain things, such as anything but essence, logs, etc.
  3. The start of the month looks very strong, but the end is kind of weak. Read more in the editorial I wrote, in my sig. ;)
  4. Remove that part about duel arena now =p.. Atleast they thought that far ahead. couldn't you just enchant once the duel started? That's the message you get when you try to equip it.
  5. Just realized that in a 400k stake. Heh.
  6. Many have thought the diamond necklace to be useless. But if you look at the effect more closely, you can see that it has a few interesting things about it: Automatically restores Hitpoints equivalent to 30% of the max stat if wearer drops below 20%. So far, the maximum heal in game is either 22 (One bite.) or a 60 (Four bites.) If you can afford diamonds to be wasted, then you can possibly combine it with a rock cake to heal when at low hp. If you equip the phoenix necklace, get hp dropped down to less than 20% (Usually around 18hp for higher levels), and then you heal to 30% (Around 27 to 33 hp), it's a pretty big heal if you get knocked down low.
  7. I keep mine on unless I'm doing risky things such as Dagannoth Kings and Abyss Runecrafting.
  8. In normal skills, I'm about 200some for thieving right now, but I've been as high as 150th.
  9. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gold_farming Feel free to read up.
  10. Orca was fake. I know. Hence the word debunking.
  11. Hahahah! After debunking the Orca picture, you would think JageX would be more careful about knowledgebase leaks.
  12. I've checked and double checked it. As soon as you cross to the wilderness, you are actually not in the wilderness, but one more step and you are. What I mean is the timing of clicking the ditch and then continuing running to the wizard. It's not the wilderness that nerfs runecrafting - it's the crossing delay.
  13. Has anyone actually timed it with the ditch, and without? I've already commented on it on my RuneCrafting editorial, which is in my signature if anyone cares.
  14. I quickly got myself to 99 cooking just as they dropped. I ended up making a profit buying raw sharks at 600 each, and selling cooked sharks at 650.
  15. I've been dking recently with an unskilled 3 person team (New third member each day), and I've gotten about 1m a trip.
  16. Of those, the most interesting updates were: Cold War Fremennik Isles Great Brain Robbery Goblin City
  17. I recently got from level 66 to level 80 crafting. What I used were dragonhides the entire way. I'm not rich, and this only requires about 1M to get started, but of course more money is easier. With green dragonhides, if you buy 1.55k gp each, it costs 1570 * 3 = 4710 gp per body. A body alchs for 4860, so if you make your own nature runes, you come out with a profit of 50 gp per body. If you buy blue dragonhides for the same amount, you have about the same profit margin. If you buy the nature runes, you lose about 250 gp each, but the magic experience makes the whole thing worth it.
  18. I walked across the first time with no difficulty.
  19. 75 agility, didn't fail at all. Didn't even know you could fail when I did it.
  20. Remember bird eggs? Remember carpentry? That was supposed to be the near future. If that's what Jagex means by near, I'm scared of the far. Maybe 2010?
  21. I got one of those sabres and sold it 400k. Will probably drop to about 50k once it's done.
  22. I have personally seen every drop listed. 1 Raw Shark (Unnoted) 3-8 Raw Sharks (Noted) 18 Raw Rat Meat (Noted) 10 Raw Lobster (Noted) 18 Raw Pike (Noted) 9 (?) 23. A great discontinued item is the Toy Sailboat, but unfortunately it's untradeable now.
