  1. That's what some high level clan chats are for. I've only been disappointed once in a 5-man, and that was when I joined a random group who invited randoms themselves.
  2. 10% is not 1 every 10 patches - it means every time you harvest one, you have a 1 in 10 shot of getting a seed back - so it's very random. I love this scroll - on one of my snapdragon herb runs, I got 40 herbs and 2 seeds back. On average one in two or three herb runs will get a seed back, but since seeds are so expensive, it's definitely worth it. The fact that dead patches return the wrong herb is a bug, I believe. But even if it only worked on living herbs, it's still great and pays for itself really quickly. Besides, at higher levels, 10k tokens is only about 3 or 4 floors of work.
  3. Has anyone actually gotten a slayer challenge yet?
  4. Because the tokens you gain are always equal to 10% of the xp gained? If you use the tokens on xp, it will take you exactly 10 times as long as that xp would have taken you to make those tokens back.
  5. The difficulty setting has absolutely no meaning on solo dungeons. In multiple-player dungeons, the difficulty is the amount of players the game expects that are necessary to solve a single room. With a difficulty of 3, for example, 3 players are needed to solve the emote room, or the switches will trigger way faster than a single player can push them. Setting the difficulty to 2 when playing as a single player would result in completely broken dungeons quite often. And you should definitely see a reason to restrict dungeon size based on the number of players. The servers have a limited amount of space and processing power. Every single dungeon must be kept in memory while it is being played. Let's say the size of a regular dungeon is x, and the size of a medium dungeon is 2x (which it is - medium dungeons are exactly twice the size of small). For 2 players to play a medium dungeon, 2x units of memory are taken up, so each player is only taking up x. If a solo player was allowed to play medium dungeons, he would be taking up at least twice as much memory as any other player.
  6. Me too, but we're both 99 prayer so we don't really care much for prayer xp anyway ;) But it's still invaluable to an F2Per. Would be, if it were not members only. ;)
  7. It seems like the Bonecrusher would be great when going after Jogres or other Champion Scroll droppers. This way, you can just look out for the scroll on the ground, and not worry about anything else.
  8. What a waste of what? Time? I happen to enjoy the skill, it's a side benefit. Points? What else would I spend it on? At higher levels you get up to 1k tokens per floor anyway. Because the only thing you can use them on is things w/ regular bones or big bones. Dragons and up are better to collect. Pointless waste of points, imo. It's an extra 3k or so prayer XP per Fire Giant, Warped Tortoise or Wyvern task, and 1k prayer XP per Dark Beast task. It's also 15k prayer XP for each Blue Dragon task - I own a yak, but banking is really boring, so I'd probably opt for speed with that.

  10. It actually works, too. No bone drops, but 4.5 prayer xp added. No extra time taken to kill.
  11. To be fair, Agility for the longest time was a completely useless skill, bar a few quests. These ideas remind me greatly of when the shortcuts were introduced - and suddenly agility gained quite a few new uses. I love those ideas, but perhaps instead of proposing them on a forum nobody pays attention to, you should either post them on the RSOF or suggest them in the Q and A. That way, they at least consider them.
  12. It's not cowardice, it's simply a decision that spending an hour properly responding to your overly verbose post is not worth my time. Anyone who knows me knows I hardly shy away from an argument, but when the other party doesn't even make an effort to make concise, well-thought-out points, it's not worh the bother. Nobody read your post, and they wouldn't read an equally lengthy reply; thus, the only reason to write it would be to convince you, and sorry pal, you're just not that important. ;) I read it, and anyone who's been following the "argument" with you has as well. I'm sure Louis is not the only one who would read your response. You very frequently pick one minor nitpick in a long post and ignore the rest. I'd like to see you respond to a complete argument for once.
  13. It would be a nice minigame, yes. It's not a skill if the only reason anyone can come up with for why this is one and SC is not is that "Jagex sez so". Because SC is Player-vs-Player? Because SC doesn't force you to play all skills? Because SC doesn't have any way of ranking you?
  14. If all you're interested in is the lore, I and a few others are gathering just the transcripts on the wiki. We have Bilrach's chronicles up to 14 and all of Marmaros and Thok, I believe. Wiki Link
  15. This skill is going to be a requirement for the new Mahjarrat quest... [hide]The Mahjarrat involved is Bilrach. [/hide]
  16. 89-96 Summoning so far, and a farming level from checking my trees.
  17. I don't do much Summoning but all that in 10 hours sounds impressive, think about going outside for a bit when your done :) Why do you waste your money on water orbs for hydras? Bones to banana can get you 8k bones an hour at 155 a bone/banana (slighly more because of the natures) and fruit bats give only a little less xp + they sell for relatively much (more than just what you would get if you traded them in for shards and sold the shards for 25 gp) Water talismans, same story, but now you should just get obby charms yourself. You can easily get over 150 an hour. That would save you another 6m in 4h work. Well, I'd agree with the water orbs, but water talismans are definitely worth the extra xp over obsidians. 52.8 xp each adds up, especially on double xp weekend. If you make 1000 lava titans instead of geysers, you'd lose out on 137k experience.
  18. The reward is .... a statue in your house. ;)
  19. stfu u march 12th prod Heh. Somehow I won't be surprised if that's the case. XD
  20. I'm personally hoping it bumps a lot of people into the next "level" category. For example, most people who have 88 summoning now will get bumped up to yaks. If this happens in many skills, then perhaps with the new number of people being higher level, Jagex will release updates for that class of players.
  21. I don't own a fire cape, and I trained to 93+ slayer just for the ranks, level, and prestige of the level. Not everyone stops at 85...
