satan and sin, discuss
Are you saying that sin is a sinners friend, and they will follow sin to the table of the devil? Further clarification is probably needed.

"I want a girlfriend/boyfriend", and other such relationship advice
Best. Show. EVER. As for m0nkey - I advise kissing her on the cheek or something before going for it. Theres nothing more awkward then trying kiss her when she's not ready, missing, smacking her in the face, then having to find a place to bury her body. Gah thats happened way too much to me. Anyway, yeah I'm pretty sure a kiss on the cheek is a universal signal that a proper kiss is near. Warning - kiss on the cheek may or may not be a universal signal for an approaching kiss. Use with caution.

Metallica - Death Magnetic leaked!
Singles usually get released ahead of albums. Makes sense. ;) To be honest I wasn't really impressed with the song. But who knows, it might grow on me.

Metallica - Death Magnetic leaked!
It's not officially released yet? I swear I heard a song from it on the radio last week.

American Pies
I have a soft spot for all the American Pies. Yes even the [cabbage]ty newer ones like Band Camp. They are just the type of film that will slightly entertain me at all times, and I enjoy that.

Lowering of the drinking age to 18
Lol. Beer is really the only alcoholic beverage I'll drink, and has been for quite awhile. There's no way I'd drink it if I didn't enjoy the taste, and was only looking for the effect. There's cheaper, more effective ways to do that. Only in my very early drinking career (lol) did I drink premixed drinks, but I grew tired of them very quickly. They make me feel sick and I just don't enjoy drinking more than one of them. This situation and opinion is shared by all my mates. So basically, your wrong ;) I just had to point that out. anyway OT. Lowering the drinking age to 18 makes sense to me, but perhaps thats because Australia's age is already 18. According to my most reliable source (The American Pie films) it seems as though teens around that age drink anyway. To me, lowering the drinking age will only take the rebellious nature away from drinking and decrease the amount of irresponsible drinking (if only a little).

AHHHHHHHHH!
I used to have similar sugar binges. I think the worst one I did was eat most of a 1K Cadbury chocolate bar throughout a day. Had to throw about 1/4 cause I was about to be sick. But now, I have been "clean" of chocolate for 4 months. I wanted to see how long I could go without eating it. It's been bloody hard though, it's surprising how addictive the stuff is...and how seductive the commercials are.

One of the best inventions ever: Invisibility
I was going to post the exact same thing after just glancing at that post. In the end, I decided it wasn't even worth a response. I read it. Let me tell you, the most intriguing part of that post was that he managed to use smilies for both full stops and commas. OT I got excited when a read this but it's not as fantastic as I hoped. But then again, my expectations were significantly enhanced because of our good friend Harry Potter.

"I want a girlfriend/boyfriend", and other such relationship advice
Who cares? It's probably that crappy, it's funny. Run with the joke, don't hide it. That's the only way you'll lose. Don't over think that, msn is msn. Perhaps those people don't use it much, thats not uncommon. You know, its funny. Back in those grades I thought the same thing. I always heard about others but never about me. Years later I found out that there were many people into me, I just didn't know it. People are just anxious about that person finding out about their attraction at that age. Yeah, I think you need myspace. Girls will still be a little shy about obvious flirting, but with things like myspace, it's easier for them to do so. Don't worry about your parents rule, go behind their back. Your parents are going to forbid you to do a lot of things, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's whats best for you. I think you just need to take a little more initiative., be a little more aggressive with your interests perhaps. If your interested in someone, you can let them know without telling them. Subtle (but not overly subtle) hint are a good way to go about it. Um, try organising group outings to the movies, I'm pretty sure thats what I did in year 9 rather then 'dates'.

Breastfeeding
I think it's because it's a slap-in-the-face reminder that they once did the same thing. To most people, that feels a little creepy to them and they'd rather not be reminded.

But you could do that. It would only be awkward if your not confident. If you have your mates with you it should be easy to meet people, just don't think it's awkward and it won't be. The beach is a great place to meet people. Ever heard of fishing? Just chuck around a footy with your mates and they'll direct it towards a group of girls. You can even meet people on a bus. If theres lots of people your age, just pull out your phone and look up people's bluetooth. Find a girls name and call it out. If they turn around, say hello. :D

Your *outrageous* fast-food experience.
I once ordered a meal at kfc. I got it all, and went to sit down. The chair was broken and i spilled all my fries as I sat. But they wouldn't give me new fries - cheap bastards.

Australia is now the world's fattest country
I can definitely see how thats possible. I work in a retail store which caters for "Big Men" (3XL to 7XL or 112cm to 146cm waist). So fat is what i see predominantly. The store also has regular size clothing too, but it's interesting to note that the majority of those 'regular' customers are around the XL-XXL bracket. That gives me a reason to believe this study.

Thanks, warri0r. I was looking at a bachelor of medical science at Wollongong Uni, and it seemed to have all the aspects that you spoke about.

What course are you doing? It may be different for Sydney, I'm thinking about pursuing biochemistry, but I'm not sure of the course, what the course specifically involves etc etc.

A kiss?
Kissing on the cheek is a natural custom for opposite sex friends. Females still kiss each other on the cheek too. Us males just hug 8-)
