Why don't you use wikipedia and search for Easter because Easter has EVERYTHING to do with Jesus. Well yea, NOW it does. Even IF Easter wasn't originally Christian, is that such a bad thing? Cultures merge. Maybe Christianity took the good part of another people's tradition and made it into something of their own. I was just saying they have nothing to do with eachother.

Well it's better than Christian's current stance on the matter...That it's a choice and a sin and can be over-come through prayer n' whatnot. The suicide rate among Gay Christian's is like 90%, lol. It has to have SOME genetic thing to it. Why else would a kid raised 100% Christian even consider being gay? He knows what that means to his religion. He obviously just can't control it. I remember the case of a mother who posted on a Christian website saying she found out her son was gay, and the members of the forum all told her to tell him to pray and repent from his sin and that just made the kid commit suicide...Very understanding people at that forum, I tell ya'. They told the mother it wasn't her fault and that he made his choice. It was pretty ridiculous. Even if I was strictly religious, if I had a gay child, I'd simply say "Well, thats your choice...Remember what I taught you with religion your whole life, but if you can't get over it through prayer and whatnot, then you've made your choice and I hope you're happy with it!" and accept him/her...Not shun them like they're weird and did something bad. The mother essentially killed her son by not being understanding. Though I'm sure religious people will disagree with me and say it was his choice and la-de-da. Probably the most disturbing thing is one of the members of the forum said to the mother "Well, he made his choice. He's burning in Hell with the sodomites now." and she basically acknowledged that she understood that. Amazing. That website doesn't accept debate, though. I was going to ask them what the hell their problems were, but the rule said "NO DEBATE WELCOME! IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH US, LEAVE!" basically. Very Christian-like.

Why has no one bothered just burning their church and hacking their website, it'd be so easy, and that would definitely be the silencing of idiots. I believe their website was hacked once, and re-directed to "Godloves[bleep]s.com" or something. They threatened to sue, so control was given back to them.

Don't have to be an atheist to think these people are wrong. I'd wager that every Christian here thinks they're idiots too, no matter how much they think homosexuality is wrong.

Those are just those insane-o Baptist Church guys. Don't mind them. They're ALL going to Hell. People aren't tolerating their crap anymore, either. Their Church's leader had his face crushed (literally) by a large man while they were protesting. The guy was apparently just walking by and they called him the F-bomb. He, apparently wasn't, and took offense, and beat the guy, crushing his face. Later, the Baptists' website said that it was a homosexual conspiracy to kill him, and that the guy was, infact, some kind of homosexual assassin. :roll: Not to mention the countless other times people have been attacked. The above guys' daughter (adult) was even punched in the face for shouting out her hatred. They've had vehicles stoned and broken at protests, etc etc etc. Sadly, they all back this up with the Bible as the "Persecution of Christians", which it isn't...It's the silencing of idiots. Personally, if I ever saw one of their protests, I would probably think twice about throwing some punches too. I'm 100% sure I'd at LEAST start snapping their stupid little signs.

Isn't it consistent with non-theism to assume non-morality? I mean, without a God, where is your moral standard coming from? If it is coming from yourself, then you can do whatever the hell you want and still be "moral". It would be inconsistent to see humans as moral beings without an absolute standard of morality, no? Silence. Assume with me, for a second, if you can (you probably can't), that there is no God, and humans wrote the 10 commandments themselves as laws. Your point, therefore, would be utterly destroyed. Noone has observed God. We don't know these morals came from God. They could have came from humans, period. And besides that...People who DIDN'T follow the Bible's teachings (Egyptians and many other civilizations) all had their own morals and ways of dealing with people who did bad things. Steal something? Say goodbye to le' hand. Murder someone? Say goodbye to le' head, or hello to prison, whichever. People know what is wrong and what's right. You continuing to argue that God somehow invented morality and struck it down on a rock and then we were all changed from animals into sentient beings is ridiculous. It just so happens that the morals from the Bible made their way into our laws today in America. Woo-hoo. You people really need to get over this crap. There are far more important things to worry about. Are you aware that currently, in the USA and Britian, Islamic groups are trying to make Shariah Law prominent and above OUR own laws? They left one of those on a DVD I bought once. I ripped it in half out of anger. I hate it when a couple shop lifters have to ruin it for us all and we have to have 100 different protection devices on one item. I timed myself once...Getting through all of them without damaging the case took several minutes. It sucks.

I jsut got back from the most awesome April Fools prank EVER. My friend has an Emperor Scorpion. Long story short, he bumped into his mom and pinched her arm and said that it stung her and told her it was poisonous. Hilarity did ensued. I've never seen someone run around their house going "Oh sweet Jesus! Oh God! Someone call the ambulance!" before. It would have been better, but she was about to call the ambulance, and it costs $3,000 if they show up, so we had to stop it there, lol.

I'm going to go to the church across the street on Easter and ask every single person who enters the building what the hell a giant rabbit hiding painted eggs has to do with the ressurection of Jesus. Then watch the looks of contemplation.

Jesus is a illegal Mexican immigrant day labourer who waits on street corners for someone to pull up and offer him work. When offered work, Jesus excitedly exclaims "Viva La Americana!" and hops into the vehicle. When on the site of said job, he whistles "La Cuca Ratcha" while he earns every penny of his $10/day pay-check breaking his back carrying baskets of strawberry's/lettuce/oranges/shingles/concrete mix/etc etc etc. This...This is the Jesus I know.
