Fs I'm so annoyed right now. :x First of all I wanted it to be Czech Republic vs Croatia since that's mine and my friends teams so it would make for a good match and evening out. 'Mon Romania getting a result against Holland in the next round of matches, would be awesome to see them qualifying from that group. I think they have a chance aswell. Holland will probably rest some players, especially injury prone ones like van Persie and Robben, plus Romania have already shown that they can beat Holland in qualifying. Plus they will be less motivated having already won the group. Its a possibility. I had a sneaky suspition that they were capable of pulling it off at half time against (an admittedly s**te) France and todays result just reinforced that as they were a penalty away from knocking out the world champions. Credit to Buffon like. In fact I might make Romania coming through their group my second bet of the tournament, depending on the odds available. :mrgreen: Also a team from that group could qualify with 2 points , does anyone know if this has ever happened before? Would be pretty weird anyway.

Not sure, Romania beat Holland twice in qualifying (I think) and are good at strangling teams and nicking a winner. They did the first part of that against France and could well pull it off against Italy imo. That being said, I would still be majorly surprised if they did. :mrgreen:

I'm absolutely buzzing atm!!! :D Can't go out and celebrate either because of sodding exams tomorrow. :( My mate has put his support/money behind the Czecks so were are making a big thing of it if we meet in the quaters either going out or a house party. Apparently if Czeck Republic and Turkey draw it goes to a shootout - should be interesting if it happens.

Put a tenner on Croatia at 14/1. Thats about it for me, just wanted a team to support. Gone and Bought a shirt and got the national anthem as my ringtone. Was thinking about having a flutter on Russia aswell - could do quite well under Hiddink and had nice odds too, but I have a strange attraction to Slavan Bilic. Not that I've played it, but he reminds me of the guy on the GTA IV advert when he is walking towards the camera and all that stuff is blowing up. Decided with a couple of mates that if our team gets to the final we are gonna try going to that country for a weekend. Options are Prague, Zagreb or Amsterdam. Problem with Zagreb is the price of getting there. Not overly likely anyway. Amsterdam is a real possibility though, although i reckon they may have peaked to early - like the Argies at the WC.

My bet is nothing much changes results wise. They will obviously play better football than under Big Sam but they're still not going anywhere.

If that's still hard to grasp, americans owe over 9000000000 million dollars to other countries. Each citizen of the US is about $30,000 in debt to other nations. That's almost the amount the american economy is worth annually. None of them, just find it hard to grasp how someone can be in over 1 trillion debt :lol: The UK is aswell smartarse.
