They're quite hard. It is multi combt, so even if you find a safespot to range from, the females will throw rocks at you. They hit consistently and high. The male do also. High melee skills to melee them with is probably the best way, combined with decent armour. EDIT However, their drops aren't good enough to make big money, so I wouldn't reccommend it as a money making method.
