At what? I mean only pvping is really the only thing you are looking at.

Overpowered equipment
Pures are terrible at training and doing bosses, they have a huge handicap in playing the actual game. So nah I think is fair, gaining offense power at losing gameplay and defense.

Halo Discussion thread
Game > Videos. Of course, that is why I mentioned that I based my feeling on the videos. It just seems bland with not much added to it. I mean I want it to be successful since I have enough friends who are rabid halo fans and I don't want them to be too disappointed, but eh it just doesn't look that good.

Lucid dreaming
I thought I do this all the time, by accident though. I always have thoughts running in my head, every single day about anything. So sometimes it is difficult for me to fall asleep as you can imagine with all these thoughts running around your head. So sometimes I just lay down and ignore everything except my breathing, I don't think I ever changed my dream though. I mean I did remember some of them and during some dreams I understood I was dreaming. Dunno, it sounds wierd to me.

I like your style, one thing that always did bother me is bikini armor on females, but I guess that is a personal thing.

Well, to be honest it looks similar to previous Halo games. Not really that impressed judging by the videos.

Guild Wars 2 - Official release date 8/28, 8/25 for pre-purchasers
I doubt they are going to remove the dedicated healing class. I mean yeh removing the tank role was done well but without a healer it is going to be wierd. I mean imagine pvping without a healer, how do you counter spikes? Unless they decide to spread out the healing/protection to every other class. This is what I am assuming Scholars Monks/some sort of healer Elementalist Necro/Memser combination, I am guessing they are going to merge the e-denial and interrupts of the memser with the necro, it makes sense too. Adventures Assassin, because there are daggers Ranger/Gunner combo, obvious here Engineer, they said there are going to be some unique classes. With the environmental weapons, I think engineers are going to be needed. Soldiers Warriors, I think they are going to merge the supporting shouts of paragons with the warriors, warriors already shout enough as it is. Some sort of magic knight, aka reworked Dervish with plate.

Offering Bones
You click offer x and type in a number like 99, when you take out the bones out of BoB it will not interrupt the offering.

What would the world be like without the United States?
Couldn't the same be said for every other country? Yep, invention wise all those things are going to come out sometime. Now historically...Lets pretend US stick with UK. With enough time UK will be able to completely dominate most of North America, probably invade Mexico as well or something. The thing here is that US and UK are so far away that the people are going to feel wierd to have somebody across the Atlantic governing them. So I think US is probably going to form no matter what, and err yea.

28-April-10 Buyers and Cellars (and Thieves Guild)
So..are you saying Jagex should somehow host multiple Runefests around the world so everyone could attend? Not really possible mate.

I am curious about this, you think it is unfair that players who went to this event will get a purely cosmetic item. Yet you do not think about the other things such as insider sessions, fun in London, playing around with the game engine, exclusive testing in Jagex. I mean out of all the things you get for going to the fest, I would imagine the little item would be least enjoyable.

I think if there is any indication, the redeemer is the guy who gives out holiday items. So yes I am 100% sure it is going to be just for laughs and giggles.

So I dont get an exclusive one time item because im not willing to pay 200+ dollars for a flight to england? Im all ok with micropayments, but not if they cost 200 dollars. Away from that, I feel bad for the dwarf I stole the ruby dragon from. Hes broke and selling his tools for money. :( Sure, and you are missing out on that scythe because you have never heard of the game until a few years later. At least you have control over your situation now.

[hide] I agree, if they do micro payments I'm OUT. Even for "stupid items" persay. Every player needs to have the same opportunity to get all items within the game. I have a feeling that players that go to this "Runefest" are going to get promotional codes to get a "special" item to commemorate them going to the event. Usually thats how MMORPG's do this thing. I would hope Jagex doesn't follow the mold and just copy this though. Holiday items? Not every player have the same opportunity mate. Sure they did. All they had to do was log on, "Mate". What about players who was for example sick during the event or created their account after that holiday? You still can't compare that with paying real life money to get an item you want. It is unfair over people that don't have the same chances as you have, because of your real life economical situation. This is different than not being able to log on during a given time, that could happen to anyone, no matter what their income is. Something that I like with runescape, is that it isn't your real life that decides how good you are here. Although you still can be disadvantaged because of less free time, or other things what really matters is that your rs character is purely what you've made it to be, and where everyone have started out equal. Now, if we bring in irl money in this, then you have another factor than playing rs that effects what you can do and what you cannot do in this game. And I don' t like it - at all! [/hide] This is not a pure money issue. I bet even if the cost of the entire trip cost only one buck there will still be people not going. I really do not understand your reasoning to be honest. I mean you cannot get a holiday item because of real life situation. Now you cannot get whatever it is because you cannot attend an event. In general you are lucked out.
