To be fair, DG is going to take a LOOOOOOONG time for us to digest. I am fine with it. I do hope the new skill will be more unique than DG though because it they went back to the "go to bank, take stuff out, do things to the stuff, put stuff in bank, repeat" I will rage. Nerd rage that is rawr

I have no idea because all I did was DG in world 117 in the past few days, and that world lags for everyone.

I think is just people are afraid to adapt, CWA has always considered to be "easy" mode due to the no item lose factor and the various item restrictions such as no fire blast because they are harder to tank. Maybe if Jagex introduce some better armor for f2p people may allow DG items into wars.

For the looks of course, I like the white/blue color scheme for the quest cape :)

I am meh on this one, it really looks like WoW on space :/ I mean I am sure the storyline will be awesome, is bloody bioware. But the gameplay video they have released looks pretty mediocre to me. This has nothing to do with me being a Guild Wars 2 fanboy :P

Blizzard decided to make RealId optional which is obviously expected. There is no way the system can be implemented without huge negative PR. The question here remains now why the hell did they want this in the first place.

I agree, 75 is like one or two work day for somebody like me at most. If I live near the place I will definitely go. Even if just to meet some people who play RS :P

That happened to me many times, I main a warrior. Whenever we get a good monk(not those crappy monks that spam healing breeze), we usually win 5+ games or so just because of the one monk. If we do not then we will ALWAYS lose when we face a team with a monk. Hell once I got in a really good combination team, me=standard shock axe warrior, monk, ele and a memser. We steamrolled everyone, and then we faced the dreaded double monk team. I think we stalemated for about 10 minutes before we landed a lucky spike on one of the enemy(think it was a sin), then they just rage quitted. Of course the next round we faced a really good team with a spear warrior that spammed stunning strike(or something) to the monk and we all got slaughtered. Just to show how important the monk is.

This is exactly what they need to do, good PR. Good job Jagex.

Update on death and the holy trinity.

Respect is much harder to earn than losing. The rock boots update basically removed the majority of the respect they have managed to build up(from me at least). The people who are selfish or have absolutely no idea about long term advantages are the ones who post every knee reaction they can have. I mean I don't know what more can be said here, yes Jagex has made tons of mistakes, but they have corrected much more. I guess it is simply easier to point out everything that is wrong than everything that is right.

Oh man, well you have to understand that there is not really much we can do here. We do have some techies here and there and there are people who can get in contact with Jagex officials easily, but in the end Jagex has to be the one to fix everything. Did he has everything on your account? Name+credit card+home address? If so that is quite unfortunate.

With all the things wrong with PvP loot, you decide to complain about this? Come on mate.

I am actually kind of hopeful right now, Jmods have not posted on the forum at all except to remove spam threads. Even with the dense skull they have Jagex should notice that SOMETHING is wrong here. Perhaps they are trying to come up with something? I mean last update they acknowledged the booboo on shark/brew after being quiet after a few hours, perhaps they are doing the same now?

The problem here is not whether or not it is possible to trace the offender, the problem here is the people's acceptance of it. Ddos borderlines as a criminal activity and cyber bullying is a flatout crime. I am not saying the clan should spend everything they have trying to punish the person, what I want to be changed is the people's reaction towards it. Right now if you ask a person in a clan, chances are his/her opinion towards Ddos will be acceptance. Not because it is completely stupid, but it is because nothing has being done towards it. I mean there are times where the person who did actually Ddos is found and nothing has being done towards it. This is what has to be chance, at least set up a few example to serve as a scare tactic rather than bend over and take it. In other words, do something. Yes the attitude has been changed, and I believe I have just explained why. Yes people do flame, but I know no other competitive gaming community does this kind of thing. Hell RS clan community can be called 4chan of gaming clan communities. Do you really want this to stick? In real life people do flame, and that is when people can and should stand up for themselves. Even if bullying in real life is an act tolerated by all(which is obviously not), there is no reason to do it on the internet. Just because everybody does it does not make it right, do you not agree? You seem to be submitting to the will of the majority simply because you feel it is useless, but how would you know if no effort has been made?

Tbh I am less angry about the economy and more angry that it was leaked to people because they are relatives. I'm also angry that Jagex is trying to tell us they were commonly bought for 75k and I am even angrier at the fact that D boots alch for 12k but Climbing boots for 45k. Either they are all dumber than bricks or someone was trying to help a relative out... If it is any other time somebody is telling me that Jagex leaked the information to other people, I will tell that person to go to a mental institution. However with this update, I honestly cannot see even ONE benefit that came out of all this.

The community is definitely overreacting to this, I am quite convinced that the economy will not suffer because of the gp generated by the boots, if anything the economy will be messed up by people starting to hoard items thinking they will raise. This doesn't stop making the update stupid though.

I mean this is a decent update, you got an interesting quest, awesome patch notes(fixed deflect), the new spells looks really good. Then comes the climbing boots. Herp Derp

Here is what is going to happen to climbing boots. Everybody will sell them to the shop or high alch them because nobody would buy them on GE. The GE price will drop to around 40k(the shop/alch price), supply of boots will be nonexistent, people with tons of boots gets rich, everybody is happy and we shall sit on the rooftop watching a rainbow made of love.

I think the point of the update was to make something that pkers were using as footwear and cost almost nothing now have a value to them and so loosing a pair causes you to loose 70k worth of value which will over time act a money sink. The increase in wealth is only temporary. Think long term so maybe in the short term 700bil was created you can only get at best 60% of that value minus the cost of the natures runes and once that money is gained it cant be gotten again and if that player wants to get another pair they must pay out 75k so over time this change will act as a money sink.... Fact is, NOBODY is going to use them now.

I mean I kinda see where they are getting at, just make the GE price to the market price of the items. Like make party hats/shields to their true market price so they will be buyable in GE. But then again, the majority of the people who have them were trying to use them instead of selling. I call this update an absolute and total failure of a scale so epic that not even Michael Bay can make a movie out of this. EDIT: Speaking of failures, where is MHL?
