  1. Everybody is doing the 3 champion run now lol, wing of fate+regen=pretty op.
  2. How does that work o.O, I can just march foot soldiers in your base all day long. with the champions one hitting you then any damage you do is healed by the time more units can reach me, send several at once i power up a scout and sucided kill a few. What if you see 4 champs with regen >.>

  4. I just had a weird game... We started ok, I sniped his archer with a charged scout, he killed my scout with a foot soldier, he then charged his scout and snipe my archer etc etc. Everything went pretty balanced until I forgot battlecry gives +200 lp and I lost a halber. Then I forgot it AGAIN and lost a scout, so in the end I had a knight and a champion, my champion battlecried and killed his champion, but his champion took out my knight the turn before. So it was my knight against a mage, 2 footmen and a halber. The mage battlecried and dealt 400 to my champ, I took out the mage. He moved one of his foot up, I charged up and took out his halber, his footman dealt 100 to my champ and the return strike killed the foot. So it was my 100lp champ against his foot, he ran away, I chased him around. Thing is I used my charge before he did so I got rid of the cool down first, so I charged up and cleaved his footman. I felt pretty bad :/, I mean I messed up twice royally, I didn't exactly got outplayed but I made some nubble mistakes >.>, the game was his to lose. I felt pretty bad when I took out his last guy. :(
  5. Gah, lost my first game because I thought I could 1 hit ko his champion with my knight, but nope, it still has 100 lp left. The return hit koed my knight and he used chastise on my halber which did not let me kill his champion next round. Would have won the game if I did not mess up >.>

  7. Not necessarily so, I cannot log in to RS right now but I am considering the possibilities with tactics. Scout seems to be cannon fodder but they can snipe out reaching archers and mages. Foot soldiers are basically cannon fodder, I don't see any use for them instead of tanking. Archer maybe a bit more useful than mage but after you snipe off the low hp targets the damage from mage becomes more important. Knight should be your backbone while a champion should be the ace in the hole. That is what I imagine anyway. I think chastise and vigilance are the most useful out of them all for cost effectiveness. Shield wall looks somewhat pointless when vigilance is in play.
  8. The deflector will only be useful for mage/range, I guess void mage is a bit more useful?
  9. Concidence, to be honest though anybody with half of a brain knows an off site clan is much better to handle than a RSB clan. It would be sensible for them to post recruit topics on RSB while having off site forums etc etc, so I am waiting to see if the clan world will adapt to the changes. Really though, better clan support does not kill RSC clans, in theory it should help them.

  13. I bet you people recommend them as money making skills because it is entirely afkable, so I guess it feels like receiving $$$ for doing absolutely nothing. Just my 2cents.

    I think you're just bad at Zerg. Or maybe I just get bad Terran opponents. When I play random, I typically have no trouble dealing with Terran as Zerg. Sometimes I just get flat-out outplayed, but that happens with every race for me. The game is really more balanced than most people want to admit. Maybe right now it looks like Terran has the edge, but throughout the beta I noticed a similar pattern. At the beginning, it was Mutalisks that were widely regarded as "unstoppable." The Stalker really hasn't changed much. Photon Cannons and Missile Turrets barely changed at all. What it took was people realizing that Missile Turrets costing 100 instead of 75 is OK, because they do better now, and Photon Cannons still do their job, and Stalkers were better than everyone gave them credit for. Then there was proxy reapers - the mathematically impossible to stop build. Which of course isn't true anymore since people realized it's perfectly okay to skip the first Zealot and rush to Cybernetics Core, then chrono-boost out a Stalker seconds after the Reaper arrives. There was a Planetary Fortress Rush phase too. And a phase where Psionic Storm was useless. And a phase where Thors were too big to do their job (in fact, Blizzard shrank them, but, ironically enough, I've frequently seen Thors being used to block up choke points such as an opposing ramp during an attack, a purpose for which a larger Thor would actually be better). A phase where Hellions were useless. The way people play the game changes - people discover new strategies, which in turn, shift the balance of the metagame. [/hide] Try playing as protoss against a bioball :< Damn that stuff is tough to beat, by the time i've teched to collossi, they're all up in my base, killing my guys :( Still trying to find an effective tactic against the bioball. Protoss a fairly easy time against the bio-ball. Zealots do very well against both Marines and Marauders until the period where Marauders have concussive shell, but Zealots don't have charge. Nevertheless, you should be able to hold on until you tech up to Colossi. It sounds like you're teching fairly slowly if you aren't actually reaching Colossi - how are you using your chrono boosts? Do you time your resources so you can start an observer once the Robotics Facility is up, and start your Colossus once the Robotics Facility is done? Bio-ball is actually not a major threat to Protoss past the early game, and not a major threat in the early game either if you play well at the beginning, managing your resources and limited production time well, and making the most of the units you have. Also, remember that sentries can delay an approaching MM force, can significantly reduce damage from marines, and can split an army giving your Stalkers an easier time. The key to beating Terran bio is the right combination of Sentries/Zealots/Stalkers until you can build Colossus. I am actually liking immortal and high templar+zealots which works the best for me, merge the templars after they finish storming and they can destroy marines. Immortals eat marauders with their 50 damage per shot and zealots with charge is good fodder.

  18. Fire Emblem please :D What I was thinking too :P, I used to play another one though and I fully modded that game so I can spawn whatever I wanted so for practice, I am fully prepared for this update.

  21. You don't let emotions cloud your judgment. Really though, there is no law preventing them from building this "mosque", why is there a debate in the first place? People in US complain everywhere if a mosque is built anywhere near civilization, just google it and see how many protests are there when Muslims try to build their mosque.
  22. Buhahaha, I played turn based games since I was 7 years old, I am going to tear so many people apart when this thing comes out. If it is like chess though, I am totally screwed.

  25. I guess Jagex is doing this to reduce the grind, which really is one of the major flaw for the game, but I really don't think this is the way to do it.
